I think that even if you are passionate, sometimes it can be hard, because it is complex, and it needs a lot of time. That's why I understand more @Evoman's idea than just changing the base plane. Time to make a SU25UB ED
-
Well, I started with the SU-25T, and I play with a lot of planes, but still love my Frogfoot! I didin't know anything about how to handle a plane before trying DCS, but I don't think another plane would be easier to learn in my case.

Switching AWACS between imperial and metric using the F10 map

I didin't know that! Thank you very much for this information! I don't know if the admins will be OK with doing that, but that's worth a try! -

Hello there! I am flying a lot of planes, and some of them use the metric system, and not the imperial one. However, the AWACS is always talkinig in imperial (at least in MP, where I play the most). I know, it is possible to approximate on the fly, but could it be possible to switch AWACS calls between imperial and metric, like on the map? I think it could be very nice: you take a metric plane, you use the F10 metric system, and vice versa, by clicking on the option on the map. Have a nice day!

It matters. As ED is not French, we may never have a Mirage 2000 in DCS... Oh wait!

I didin't know about this site! Thank you!

Bonjour, Je crois que dans le manuel c'est indiqué. Pour le F1CE, c'était même dans les planchettes, mais pas pour le F1EE. Bonne journée!

Hope is back

I am not very intelligent clever or whatever the usefull word is to describe my knowledge. And I am not fluent in English... But, as I understand it, full fidelity SU27, 33, MiG29, SU-25 are complicated to do (and that's so sad ), so I guess they could leave them in FC3 in DCS, and use them in MAC too, that could be a way to switch from one game to the other for people starting the journey

Confirmed! The old manual is still there, "Mirage F1CE Flight Manual", and the updated one is here, "Mirage F1 Flight Manual"! Thank you!!!

That would be cool!

A full fidelity Super Etendard could be great too... We can all dream <3

So cool to have my beloved Vikhr fixed. Thanks! -

Sir, you made my day :D

I found that there are two switches on the right side, where you set the temperature, and then both are turned on, I had way less troubles with the canopy fog By the way, first flight on a MP server! i had a really good time! Splashed a few ZU-23, and could get home! At least the plane, I think we were both dead But it is a really pleasurable plane to flight!

Hello everyone! I was thinking of an idea for multiplayer, including slot and plane selection. Currently, when you log on a server, you select an aircraft, which is placed by the mission editor in a parking space. In fact, if for example the server is a zone conquest mode, it is also necessary to put planes on the unlocked airports, etc etc... Wouldn't it be an idea to add a layer to simplify not only aircraft selection, but also mission editing. Let me explain. What if we just select an airport, which gives us access to a parking space, or a hangar, whatever, and then we have a drop-down menu of available planes? This would remove the limitation of only being able to put three Viggens, twenty seven Hornets, and two MiG21s on an airport. If four players want to play together, and there are three A10As on an airport one above the other... In short, you see the interest I think. And for mission editors, it potentially saves them a lot of modifications. It is "just" to add in an overlay which planes can be used. Like a loadout editor, but for airports. So, with that, you just select a slot, then a plane or helo, spawn, you will respawn at this same place, so no limits to what aircraft you want to use unless the mission's editor disable them. It would be so cool, because having to change your plane's choice because your friend can't select the same because there are not enough places on the airport to put 20 planes of each reference on each airport is really sad in my opinion. Have a nice day! Ashayar EDIT: typo and precisions

Fine. I didn't mean to disturb you sorry.

I understand your point but you can go in the control page, and set your own controls by filtering, like Trottle Handle, Stick handle and so on, and add what you think is usefull (like radar controls, gear and flaps etc etc...). I did that and it worked quite well.

Hello there, I am really sorry, but I have a stupid question: The "track files" are the .trk files recorded by the game right? Is there a way to edit them to make them tinier? Because I had another problem with my wingman not taking off on another mission By the way, I'm on the 24th mission, and damn thos F15C drives me nuts

Arf... I was too slow finding those informations, all I could find is that is was a Polish MiG 29 GG mate!
