Hey All, Just finished a Discord session with MAXsenna as I was having a problem with the VAICOM REL/HOT button not working as it should. Turning on, my VoiceAttack profile commands worked fine but VA/VAICOM would not respond to any PTT/TX presses. Always got the “Command XXX is currently disabled for this session and will not be executed” Kudos to MAX for working this through with me and we found the only solution is to go back to version 2.5.24 I had previously used the VA option to “Override listening if my spoken command begins with” and inserted a random word to begin all VA commands. Everything worked fine with that option. When I de-selected that option and went to REL/HOT, is when things stopped working on the PTT side. Hope this helps and thanks again, MAX

Hi Hornblower, Turned on the REL HOT option and my profile in cockpit keyboard commands work uninterrupted now. Unfortunately the PTT has been cancelled out. Every time I PTT I get a "Command (ie. ATC request takeoff) is currently disabled for this session and was not executed". Does this for all PTT commands. Any ideas? Thanks

Hey Guys, I have the scratchpad version with the keyboard and for the life of me, I can't find the white Dot. I moved the scratchpad around and the map around and did not see it. Any Ideas? Thanks

This has probably been addressed many times and hopefully there is a simple solution . Thanks in Advance for your help. I've been using the setting "Override listening if My spoken Command begins with" since I started using VA and VCP. everything has been working as it should and all commands recognized and executed. I wanted to eliminate that option for brevity and have the "listening" headset icon always listening. So in Options I have the Recognition Global Hotkey Disabled and unchecked the Override button referenced above. But every time I open up VA, I have to click on the listening "headset" icon to make it "listen". Problem is, after a few commands, it goes back to "not listening" All by itself. What am I missing and what do I need to do to just have VA act on the profile commands without the “begins with”?

Just downloaded this fantastic Mod! Great addition to DCS, especially now with the keyboard. Kudos to all. Just one question, Can’t figure out how to use the +L/L key for Lat/Long entry. I press and it says “No Marks Found”. I assume it’s supposed to easily enter map coordinates. Any Help would be great, Thanks!

Actually I figured it out. For some reason a folder appeared in DCS/mods/terrains/PersianGulf called “kneeboard_orig”. Not sure how this folder got in there but that is where my Persian Gulf airfields ended up and DCS doesn’t recognize those. So for Aircraft specific kneeboards, they are put in the user/saved games folders for each AC. But any theater maps, they can go in the main DCS directory

Downloaded and was trying to install Persian Gulf Airport pages. Common to all aircraft so I put them in the DCS/mods/terrains/PersianGulf/kneeboard folder. Problem is they don't show up in my cockpit kneeboard. Where have I gone wrong?? Thanks

I guess if you consider it a zoom in, zoom out switch then that does seem right. My brain just 1st went to increase/decrease range mileage arcs. Oh well, Thanks

Anybody know why the DMS FWD command DECREASES Map range on TAD AND AFT Increases map range? Shouldn’t this be logically opposite like all other DMS commands?

I’m wanting to add a new alias to an F10 import phrase. Can someone tell me how to do that? Also, noticed that keyword editor page shows 500+ commands but VoiceAttack window only shows about 70. What’s up with that? Thanks!

Anybody know how to use the Comm F10 commands with VaiCom voice rather than “options, take10, take1”?
