Check your Max FPS in DCS
-
Now that you mention it... I already had 3.7.2. Now I checked, it was 3.7.0 again Will a patch put it back?

Quelle: https://www.nasenfahrrad24.de/Worauf-sollte-man-bei-Sehstaerke-Einsaetzen-fuer-VR-Headsets-wie-der-Meta-Quest-achten Als ich meine Einsätze bei HonsVR bestellt habe, bekam ich für die Pimax Crystal folgenden Tipp: "..we will suggest adding +1.00 to both SPH values as the Pimax Crystal has a shorter focal distance than other VR headsest."

You have to enable "Use Quad View", otherwise it will not work. Default is OFF
-
Thank you for the clarification. Strangely enough, the (undocumented) ‘Track the eye position’ button behaves differently. If I switch it off, the eye tracking on my Pimax still works...
-
I also wonder what the purpose of the button is. Having several on/off buttons for one and the same thing makes no sense to me.

We created a small benchmark track for our VR workshop at the Open Flight School. We simply run it through and measure with CapFrame. This allows us to see exactly where the bottleneck is and what happens when we change the settings.

I wanted to stay with Mbuccia Quad View / TallyMouse Companion because there are no settings for focus size and foveate / peripheral resolution in DCS. Now that I have switched on QV and eye tracking in DCS, things are working better again. Unfortunately, not quite like before. I'll keep testing...

It's Single Player on Caucasus with a TF-51, a short go around as a track file (our benchmark, so both screen shots show the same track). But it's even worse on Marian Island.

fixed Pimax Crystal Quadviews seems to broken after last patch.

With a lot of respect for your work. I don't understand how this can be, since the DLL is in a directory that is only used for QVFR? C:\Program Files\OpenXR-Quad-Views-Foveated\XR_APILAYER_MBUCCHIA_quad_views_foveated.dll -

Crystal / 4090 / QVFR / 72Hz / Stable 72 FPS with high settings. Yes, Quad view simply is mandatory. Without this, the resolution would have to be lowered considerably to achieve a good FPS. In my opinion, QVFR + Aero or Crystal are currently the best setups for playing DCS with the best quality in VR. What really scares me is that such a bug would certainly have been noticed... It really seems that ED does not test with such a setup. Picture: Open Flight School VR-Workshop Benchmark -
You can tell from the date alone that your post wasn't meant seriously. Now it's the sale and I, along with several hundred STEAM customers, would be delighted to receive an offer.

Why does the Hornet have the ability to change the Laser code in-flight?
Rufuz64 replied to Vitormouraa's topic in Wish List
Understood. However, it is somewhat misleading that the UFC button still shows the options for changing. -
I've seen the Heatblur video where the DCS Web Viewer is integrated into the Kneeboard How about editing a running mission via kneeboard in VR? With DCS Olympus you can edit a running mission https://github.com/Pax1601/DCSOlympus With OpenKneeboard you can integrate a browser window as a kneeboard page (window capture) and control it via the tablet https://openkneeboard.com/features/window-capture.html Would a combination of both be possible?

Why does the Hornet have the ability to change the Laser code in-flight?
Rufuz64 replied to Vitormouraa's topic in Wish List
After the patch yesterday I have just tested whether the laser code can be changed in flight: It can be changed, the SMS shows the changed codes. However, the GBU no longer finds the laser beam and the bomb misses. Can anyone confirm this? And... is this also "realistic"? -

Nice review, very similar to my experience. I use 72 Hz and therefore have a bit more eye candy, but I know that others have a problem with it and prefer to set it to 90 Hz. I have high settings and 72 FPS throughout. @BIGNEWY I use a small mod to reduce the weight, maybe that's interesting for you too: My rig: Windows 10, NVIDIA MSI RTX 4090, AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor, 3401 MHz, 64GB DDR @3200, ASrock X570 Pro4

It's not just the FOV (which will hopefully soon be significantly larger thanks to the new lenses, ~120°-125°). The clarity and the performance gain through eye tracking in combination with Quad Views are what make the difference. Only the Crystal and the Aero (discontinued) have that. Comfort is of course an issue, but this is very individual. For some (like me) the Crystal fits perfectly, others say they can't wear them at all. The key is to try them out.
