As already posted (see post Please advice at refueling struggling) I also had had a lot of truble to refuel than, with a lot of practice and with some tips, I finally became able to perform refuel. I don't suggest to tuch the curves and my tips are: wings in bombe mode trim to mantain a good altitude stability compared to the tanker adjust your seat (lower it) to see the Tanker well watch the tanker speed and memorize it; than call your IAS in the cockpit (i think the default button is CTRL + Y) and go to catch the basket with 2 kts of speed advantage (that will stabilize your approach to the basket) when you get the basket, to mantain the linking, climb some feet and watch the pod connected to the basket and with your periferical view watch the tanker to match its speed and make adjusment to mantain the contact I find usefull to use the speed brake with hotas button to open it for a fraction of second and close it immediatly to reach the disered speed before contact and to mantain the speed when linked to the basket

I'm playng the beautiful Bio's Campaign Zone 5 and most of the mission are dogfight missions. In these missions it is for me very difficult to defeat the aggressor (mostly F5) in ACM. I know that turn rate has tanked with the update of last november but I would like to know if other players are experiencing my difficulties in dogfighting or it is just my inability. Thank you for your replay

I'm also looking forward to try this campaig. Let's hope that the turn problem of the Cat will be resolved when your campaign will be ready. Thank you so much for the new campaign.

I do lower the seat height for every refuel. The important thing for me to connect and manain connection is the ability to see the fuel pod. If you can see the fuel pod you may see every little variation in its position relate to you and make instant correction to mantain the connection with the tanker.

Thanks a lot for the campaign; I'll give it a try as soon as I can and let you know if I'll find any problem. I was really looking forward for a F14's campaign to be played solo; great work!!!! Gibo

I'm on Ch Fighterstick and Ch Pro Throttle; I do not use any pedals for rudder (ministick on the Pro Throttle). -

Hi Sedlo the missione seems awesome as ever. I think there is something wrong with the condition "cockpit param equal to" connected to the "Comm1 freq" because every time this condition is on with the radio parameters the trigger won't fire and since every trigger fire the next one the mission do not work. -
Jester can jam and is able to set the AN\ALQ 126 controller button in the "rpt" mode if ordered by the pilot. To order Jester you must open the Jester Menu, go in the Cms & Rwr page and press "7". With the Controller set to "rpt" when illuminated the system automatically try to jam the emitter and you can see that because the "Xmit" light in the Rio warning lignts goes on.

Also for me is very difficult to refuel in the F14. Wath I find helpful is not to try to match the tanker velocity and then go to the contact with little increment but to go to the contact with 2 - 3 kts overspeed and, when there is the contact, slow down; this because I found out that going to the contact with 2 -3 ktn of overspeed give me a lot more stability and so is easier to grab the basket. Another pratical suggestion to mantain contact;when the contact is ok I found useful to lower the view (LSHF + LCTRL + NUM2) and use as reference the pod from witch the tube originates. In this way you may see immediatly if you are drifting up or down, left or right or if you are too fast or to slow. That for me is much esier then to take reference from the tanker. Mission not working I have problem with the mission. I fly to the first waypoint and check in but after that nothing happens, no convoy, no jtac, no task. I spent half an hour flyng in circle over wp1 and 2 but nothing. I never used accelerated time. Can please someone help me?

I dont know if it works in multiplyer but I'm sure it work in singleplayer. To jettison the tanks you have to have Master Arm on in thje pilot cockpit and than go in the Rio cockpit and put the 2 tank lever to Sel and hit the jettison button. -
I do not made any test but I have the same imprtession for the poor performance of Aim 7/M in the F14. In the Red Flag campaign there is a mission against the F15 with all aircraft armed with Aim 7/M; in this mission my Aim 7 always miss (fired from 10NM) while the F15's Sparrow are effective in the 80% of the engages. It looks like the Aim 7/M in the F15 are a lot more effective of the Sparrow launched by the F14
