RUK Mode HARM firing solution without a Steerpoint?
Bricux replied to - Sonic -'s topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
HSD Cursor is in roadmap for next update. -
Told You Viper riders! Nothing new without video! We are (in)patiently waiting ED Crew
-
Viper DTT and MGRS i don't believe that Crew release AG Radar or HTS without video
-
So where is Viper A-G radar Wags full video?

correct as is Power Distribution and External Lights BUGs
Bricux replied to Bricux's topic in Bugs and Problems
And we can clearly see that TCN also working. @BIGNEWY @Wags Bearing in mind the opinions and "evidence" presented by others. With all courtesy, please take a second look at this matter. Let's make Viper as good as possible, together -

correct as is Power Distribution and External Lights BUGs
Bricux replied to Bricux's topic in Bugs and Problems
I don't want to pretend to be an expert, but with all due respect to the F16 team, the fact that the emergency jettison button cannot be operated without engine electric power sounds like absurd. Can be right that the INS is powered by the emergency bus in Peace Xenia aircrafts only. But from the emergency diagrams and tables in GR1F-16CJ-1 (which describes blocks 50 and 52+), the emergency jettison button is powered by the emergency bus probably in every version described by the manual. -

Dear ED crew, I found another problem in "our" Viper. After in flight flameout (no fuel etc.) some plane functions don't work as desired. Without engine GEN power doesn't work but should: Emergency Stores Jettison Button, INS (HUD artificial horizon) TACAN Screen to proof: Source: I described another problem in different topic, there was no response so i'll post it here also. A simple matter, in the DCS F-16 it is impossible to light the position lights (wing / tail) without the wing tip position lights (form lights). The wing tip lights are determined by the intensity of the wing / tail lights. I found a picture of USAF showing the Viper AAR in the mentioned light config (wingtip OFF and wing / tail ON). I think the intensity of the wingtip lights should not depend on the wing / tail lights. We should turn off the wingtip lights with the FORM LIGHTS intensity knob, leaving the wing / tail ON. Now it's impossible because You can use FORM knob dimmer with only wing / tail lights OFF. You can see different intensity setting on both lights (YouTube): -

Awful glow disappeared after returning to default cockpit. Thank You very much Bignewy! But consoles primary lights are still always on, is it correct for F16?

Lovely Devs, After a few days of absence from DCS and a few patches, I noticed a problem with the cockpit lighting during the night flight. 1. Primary lights: 1.1. Consoles primary lights are always on, on maximum setting illuminates also surfaces, 1.2. Instrument panel primary light in a very ugly way illuminates not only the instruments, but also the surfaces of the cockpit, 1.3. DED lights work great. 2. Flood lights seem to be working properly. It happens after cold start and also in flight respawn. It happens regardless of the map. Yep, I was looking for data on specifically modernized aircraft or units where they were modernized, but from where I live, Google found nothing interesting except what I published. I would love to see the DCS F-16 with SAR.

Northrop-Grumman has manufactured 150 AN/APG-68(V)9 advanced radars for six foreign customers and might manufacture up to 280 upgrade kits for the US Air Force F-16C/Ds. In March 2005, Northrop-Grumman was already working on the APG-68(V)10 model featuring automatic target cueing and new modes for large synthetic aperture radar (SAR) under a $40+ million development contract. The APG-68(V)10 radar system is intended for integration into 240 US Air Force F-16 Block 50/52 aircraft. In July 2005, the US Air Force awarded Northrop-Grumman a three-year $52 million contract to finish developing of the APG-68(V)10 for the US Air Force 240 F-16C/D Block 50/52 fleet. From the moment of sending the new DCS: F-16C Viper Roadmap, the discussion on the elements that should or should not be included in the final product has started again. There is nowhere, however, the topic of how the radar model will be placed on the plane. As we know, our F16 comes from around 2007, when the first V (9) radars were produced in 2002. Why is it so important? The V (9) radar has the SAR capability. Synthetic-aperture radar is a form of radar that is used to create two-dimensional images or three-dimensional reconstructions of objects, such as landscapes in high resulution. What is important when working in A-G mode, which allows autonomous delivery of precision, all-weather, standoff weapons like JDAM or JSOW.

Since "our" F-16 is describled as CM blk. 50 version, its means the same like C 50+ (C 50 Plus)? If it's, that means we should get V(9) with SAR. "The first production V(9) radar, which was delivered in April 2002". DCS F-16 is around 2007, so we should (i hope) get (V)9 radar

Sniper XR YAY! Love You ED guys! I'm little bit sad about AGM-158 JASSM, but it's great to see acceleration on F-16 project. More LOVE for Viper!

@NineLine with respect I must agree with @Machalot. And will expand that, missle shouldn't fire when Your master arm is OFF and missle power is OFF. I understand when they fire and self-destruct, but this is no case when You S-J single missle, witch flies away at nearest radar. Why then emergency jettison is working in different way than S-J? I'm not a F16 specialist but it looks ridiculous.

@BIGNEWY BIGNEW.trk got it. I hope I done it right.

Hi, Dear ED guys. When You trying to S-J AGM-88 missle, it fires, track closest radar and hits it. It happend on single and multi, It happend with MASTER ARM OFF, It happend with AGM-88 POWER OFF, It happend on S-J mode (not NAV, not AG), It happend on active pause or live, You can S-J 4 missles and it will fire 4 missles simounteneously, Missle fires like PB or EOM mode (it flies hi upwards, it can even turn more 90 degrees). Emergency jettison works well. 2 mins of video material (missle fires and hitting friendly radar): https://drive.google.com/file/d/15caEgE8LPUsQQ7DBIqTx6FOssQvaL3Mo/view?usp=sharing 1 mins of video (firing two AGM at once, showing emergency jettison works): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1x217rqRg-H-41I7J_TL1bl5WidbXV2fp/view?usp=sharing
