  1. To stop the aircraft from rolling during the startup-process, engage NWS prior to engine-startup. You can also program a parking-brake, using your TARGET, SST or whatever Stick and Profile-Software you use: Push Button once: press "W" Push button again: release "W"
  2. No one can stop them!
  3. Have you considered to simply use THESE?
  4. Still count me in DArt! Just let me know if there is something I can help with. We miss the tool extremely with DCS A-10C!!!
  5. You could use a trigger zone that replaces the two groups by one propper working one. That one would then open fire.
  6. Well, at least half of my answer was correct...
  7. It's not wrong, it's just not supposed to be turned on during normal flight. The light sources are mounted on top of the gear bays IIRC. They're part of the night refueling lighting IIRC. Someone pls correct me if I'm wrong.
  8. It could well be that ED gets a contract by the navy to do a Super Bug Training Sim. Unfortunately that wouldn't neccessarily mean they get the permission to also make a free market sim out of it.
  9. Would be a pleasure! Even though I think the JaBoG32 would have some Eagle-Drivers too. ;)
  10. Then I'll happily take what I get! :)
  11. The only thing I really hope for is 'Multirole'. If we get a F-15C I will probably stay with the Hog... :/
  12. I however will keep stating my thoughts and ideas. Maybe the day will come when someone in charge will say "That's a really good idea! We'll go for it." And of course just for the fun of exchange opinions with the community. :)
  13. I gotta say the prices for EDs products have always been more than fair, even without any compatibility. ;) And whichever else software (license) you buy: Where the hell do you get a lifelong update guarantee???
  14. I like the burner look. It might look a bit better if ED would have made it slightly blurry. The outer edges look just a bit too sharp IMHO.
  15. Get the "HawgsmokeMils.pdf" in the documents collection thread, and try some of the included approaches (Z-Diagrams). Here's a pic I made to illustrate how to perform a 45DB: Just the 0.5nm turn-radius are wrong. We figured the correct offset to the target is approx. 1.8nm instead of 2.1nm (Base dist + turn radius).
  16. What some don't get is, that it's not about hardcore or not hardcore or wrong or right. It's all a matter of personal preference. So both positions are kinda valid, as long as they reflect someones individual view to the things discussed here, and not trying to put his opinion onto others.
  17. So adding pylons would make it a 3D model? Seriously: Just because the perspective is a plain view from the side, doesn't mean it's just a drawing. You can also make drawings from different perspectives. So everything that isn't "moving" could be both for the spectator. And now stop hi-jacking the screenshot-thread! Open a new one, if you all have so much to say about 3D models and their accuracy...
  18. If it would be caused by driver/monitor, how could the screenshots look different?? I guess he didn't grab his cam and made a photo of his screen... ;)
  19. Why not asking who prefers which method? It's just about what makes the most fun, not what is the most effective. At least, that's how I understood this poll. But yes, get started with your suggested analysis! Could be interesting.
  20. IIRC the cross indicates, that you will not meet the required parameters (DTOF/MIN ALT+ escape maneuver) according to your planned delivery (what you put into the DSMS-profile). Usually you plan your approach to avoid enemy fire, fragmentation or terrain.
  21. No, of course I don't know the answer. I wanted to ask why he thought he knew! :smartass:
  22. @mvsgas: Great, I was just about to post an answer, but then I thought "just wait a minute or two, and someone else will have done the job!". Gotta say that worked out excellent! :D ;)
  23. Nevermind...
  24. Don't worry, the update mainly focused on smaller issues to be fixed, like new airbase names according to V1.1.0.9. The previous version remains widely compatible.
  25. Promising! :) Now some small ground crew animations and we'd finally get the feeling that we're not operating a ghost-airfield. ;)
