  1. I've had very similar results when reducing the refresh rate down to 72hz. I noticed the sweet spot seems to be for my rig is 72hz in game FPS setting to 75. I basically get 72 FPS in game with almost zero stutter. Of course your mileage may very. I tried upping the game to 100 FPS and it added stutters and forced ASW which I turned off. Give it a try
  2. Ill have to try upping the FPS slider in game. There is a very slight hicupp very but it's there. My line of thinking was the not try and hammer the system to see if that would help and it seems quite the opposite. Perhaps the capping creates problems with the pipeline.
  3. After the recent patch I had a ton of Shuttering and never understood the reason why. In the latest patch 1214 it seems there is something going on with the FPS performance setting FPS in the game and the refresh rate of the headset. Changed my refresh rate to 72 for Meta Quest 3 wired Changed my FPS slider in game to 75 if I was on 70 it had a very consistent stutter, Made a huge difference for whatever reason. 4. I'll throw my two pennies in this thread, given my recent experience with the latest patch, version 2.9.8.1214 MT. This latest patch has reintroduced a ton of studdering compared to the last patch, which was running at a steady 70 FPS with very few hiccups. It's the same performance whether playing Multiplayer or stand-alone. I am getting around the same FPS but with constant stuttering. I have played with Lasso with very little change, so until this is fixed, it's not that fun to fly at the moment. I do hope they look at fixing this "improvement" sometime soon. 5. The Recent Meta Update Breaks VR for DCS. Here is the fix. Meta has started to use OpenXR within the Meta App after this update which affects the Link Cable. So you go to the Open XR Tool Kit which I'm assuming you're using and check the disable checkbox. It will default to Meta. There is a catch in that the OpenXR Menu will not pop up and your headset settings will be defaulted to Auto. So go back to the headset settings with the Meta App and reset your preferences like Refresh and Scaling. IL2 and DCS are running fine.
  6. The Solution Above Works. Also you will need to go back to your Meta application and reset your settings for the headset. It will default to an Auto settings so things like refresh and scaling will change
  7. The Meta Update killed OpenXR. It also crashes IL2 BOX
  8. Okay so it's separate. Makes sense. Thanks for the clarification
  9. So you're saying for those who have already purchased the F5 F-86 and the Mig 15, we are getting different dumbed-down versions? This doesn't make any sense. I get why they would add these planes to FC to make it more attractive to new players but to dumb them down would be a mistake. Oh and I agree some improvements on the existing FC planes such as data link etc would really help in the MP arena.
  10. Mystery solved. You can close this thread. I have an updated curser in my Warthog throttle. It's really sensitive. If you touch it at all it brings up slew mode. I added a bigger dead zone and I have to mindful not to rest my finger on it and bingo. Sorry about that it was driving me nuts. Buttons are all good BTW.
  11. Okay so here is a TRK for you to review. I was just simply flying around and when to Dogfight mode. I selected TMS down which puts the Radar into vertical mode. I flew around and uncommanded it went to a no radar boresite mode. I then select vertical again and this time on a few moments later it went back to a no radar boresite mode again. I'm not touching the TMS at all. I will attach the second file which is labeled Uncommanded you will see if I get into this no radar boresite I can't even get out of it. It's somewhat intermittent. Uncommanded 2 Boresite.trk Uncommanded Boresite.trk
  12. Latest patch reverted to the old problems with the Dogfight Switch and radar modes not being remembered. Put her into DF mode and select your Radar mode such as vertical and it loses lock and you lose the mode. It exactly the way it was before you guys fixed it a few patches ago.
  13. You are correct if you want to get the best rate out of the F-16 you need a slightly low nose attitude. And yes G onset is a different discussion.
  14. It is a very interesting video that talks about the turn rate of the F-16.
  15. I take it this problem has not been resolved. I'm keeping my Q3 on .62 for now until I hear otherwise.
