  1. Multimonitor working fine here. Check that: 2nd monitor is seen, and in proper position in the Win7 screen resolution display setup, Your custom multi-monitor lua file is in the monitor setup folder, In options, your custom multi-monitor lua is selected, In options, fullscreen mode is unchecked, In options, monitor resolution is set correct, HELIOS however is having some troubles, there are some Radio dials that no longer switch in the cockpit. I expect that they will have an updated version of HELIOS out soon to fix the 1109 changes.
  2. Let me know if you need any more help than the tutorial provides. If you will please post any questions in the tutorial thread, then future pilots will gain from our discourse.
  3. As stated in the readme, both the left and right MFCD's need to be powered on with the circular knob at the bottom left of each MFCD. (Previously, they would come on when the CICU was turned on.)
  4. Here was one of my memorable encounters with the venerable SA-15 TOR: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=63517&highlight=SA15+shot+maverick
  5. Welcome to the Forums, and DCSA-10C. Great first post by the way!
  6. Hi Jepessen, welcome to the forums. There is a radio tutorial in my signature line. Click on the link to check it out.
  7. There are always a few bad apples, but the majority of users here are very patient and helpful. Don't let this experience discourage you.
  8. I am all for any new missions, so keep up the good work. One question, how many pilot's are the "right amount of pilots"? Will 2-3 pilots be too few?
  9. I totally understand about the stickies, but thanks for the addition to the FAQ!
  10. To add to slackerD's post, you should switch from HARS mode to EGI mode on the NMSP panel (the panel is just in front of the stick above the circuit breakers). There are a couple of things you need to make sure are done before you can switch from HARS to EGI mode. You need to wait until you have reached full INS alignment( T=4.0 0.8 on the CDU align page), then switch to NAV mode, (also on the CDU align page) before you can switch from HARS to EGI mode. With EGI mode set, you can now arm your EAC and ALT under your throttle, which will give you autopilot functionality.
  11. Simped's here, they cost more then the others, but they use hall sensors and are built very well. Mine have been going without any problems or degradation of accuracy for many years now. If you are in a place to afford them, then I highly recommend them.
  12. Glad you found it useful Rodborza! Otsdarva, I'm sorry to hear you are still having troubles. Others in your same situation have had to do a clean reinstall to restore proper functionality. You may want to consider this as a last resort. Something may have gotten screwed up during the patching process. I suggest reinstalling the full version of 1.1.0.8.
  13. Please check out the Radio Tutorial link in my signature.
  14. Glad to help, welcome to the Forums!
  15. You need to make sure you are at full INS alignment (T=4.0 0.8 in CDU align page). Then, switch to NAV mode on CDU align page. Now go to the front cockpit panel just in front of the stick, and switch from HARS mode, to EGI mode. Your TVV should now be visible in your HUD.
  16. For those having problems with their radio's, there is a tutorial and a youtube vid to watch here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1028737#post1028737 Just an FYI, the tutorial and youtube vid are set for realistic radios.
  17. I can say with near certainty that if the wheel chock functionality is ever implemented, it will generate posts asking "Why won't my plane move?" That's OK, new features often do. I have faith this Community will rise to the occasion like so many times in the past and give their fellow pilots a helping hand in regards to these types of questions.
  18. If you look at the top of the previous page (5) you will see that the feature request has been made.
  19. It works like this. If you have a TM HOTAS Warthog, or a home built cockpit with manual switches/dials, you can select the synchronize cockpit controls option. This changes the pause functionality used at the beginning of entering the sim. Recall that you have to hit the pause key to bring the sim from it's initial load view, to a "live" sim. If you have the Synchronize Cockpit Controls checked in controls, you will now have 2 presses of the pause key needed to get the sim into a live state. With Synchronize Cockpit Controls active, The first press of the pause key will bring the sim into a paused world, live cockpit state. The state of the cockpit is shown as it will be when the sim goes live. This gives the user the ability to set his switches on the TM HOTAS Warthog manually to accurately reflect the state that the switches in the cockpit will be in when the sim goes live. When you are satisfied by looking at the cockpit that the controls are in sync with the Warthog, then you press the Pause key a 2nd time to bring the sim to a full live state.
  20. I would suggest doing a quick search on Google, and if that does not help, then post your questions here.
  21. I submitted this as a feature request a while back, the developers are aware of it.
  22. Glad I remembered it, and that you got it sorted. Credit goes to James "Nutty" Hallows for that fix, he wrote the TM Cougar programming software Foxy. Very talented gentleman.
  23. Very nice work there Viper, thank you.
  24. Thank you sir! Glad you are helping make the community resources easily available, that was a great idea.
