  1. Already there, check #33 That line has been there since the beta's and I think it covers it. I don't have the room to do an elaborate sentence like you have above. Space is at a premium on this list NAV Mode and INS Alignment is covered in #19.
  2. Just checked it over again, and it seems to be in line with 1108. Is there anything you think is missing or needs adding in particular? I am open to feedback as always.
  3. Request this thread be made a Sticky for 30 days.
  4. I think it would be a good idea to let the community know the changes in the ramp start procedure in regards to the HARS. This is of course listed in the 1.1.0.8 Readme, but some people are doing more flying than reading. As you all know, 1.1.0.8 is introducing the HARS correctly being the default Navigation Mode when doing a ramp start. It was EGI mode previously. With the HARS mode active, you will not get any FPM/VVI in the HUD, and you will not be able to arm the EAC. If you switch from HARS mode to EGI mode after complete INS Alignment, then the FPM/VVI returns, and you can arm the EAC.
  5. Try to contact JTAC using the HOTAS Mic Switch AFT (Back) Confirm you see the VHF FM in the communications menu header. If my memory serves me correctly, the group ID for the first Devil's Cross mission is by default not 01.( 02 I think) Try and get the datalink target via the default NET ID settings.
  6. It's pretty easy to see where your GAU-8 rounds land.
  7. Thank you sir!
  8. ...it may work with the MIDGET POD!
  9. Hi Encaintya, welcome to the Forums. Would you please have a look at page 524 of your Flight Manual and tell me if the picture there is just like the one you are seeing when you try to fire rockets?
  10. What is the $1000 doing in that picture? By the way, your post, and your picture are interesting to say the least.
  11. Gotta say it again, I love this mission and hope to see more like it from you grayw01f.
  12. 900 or 1200 HOF (Height Of Function) is where I usually set mine. Rarely are multiple armor targets so closely packed to use the 300 foot setting.
  13. Imac12 I would suggest a quick stop on YouTube and do a search for CBU 97 SFW (Sensor Fused Weapon). There are some vid's showing real footage of skeet impact. You might revise your opinion of the CBU 105 after watching. Here is a good one: For further reference the company that makes the CBU 97 is Textron.
  14. Check out this link, very cool: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3297029/1.html
  15. It's a long shot, but I was wondering if he chopped his throttles in the dive, and in doing so, lost his left engine. Many primary electrical functions run off the left engine/generator.
  16. Erich, were the MFCD's working?
  17. It might be a Magnetic Heading Error creeping in to the NAV data during flight, or due to an incomplete EGI Alignment during startup.
  18. FYI update hassata, I just tested/confirmed and reported the Load DSMS clearing a hung store as a bug. Thanks for bringing it up.
  19. Graywo1fg, As I know very little about Mission Building, do you think you will need to rework Separatist Aggression after each patch comes out?
  20. By "clear" do you mean you are able to release the weapon, or do you mean the DSMS page graphics for that hung station return to normal? The STAT page should show the affected 1760 station with a red color and corresponding failure text, do you see that after your DSMS reload? Off to test...
  21. Just a shot in the dark here, but maybe correction for magnetic variance of true north. *Are you sure you are getting a FULL INS align? (time reads T=4.0 0.8 INS NAV RDY flashes) *Check your CDU for your Magnetic Heading (MHD) Error and see if it coincides with the change you are seeing in the Offset Page. To check, look at page 195 of the Flight Manual, this will tell you what page on the CDU to go to.
  22. IMHO Multiplayer is where it's at friends. I would encourage you all to hop on Teamspeak 3, and get online! For those worried about their experience level, remember there are many pilots of all levels online...heck, the sim just released on Steam, and we will get some more new pilots when the boxed DVD version drops. Regarding the jerks and blowhards, they usually don't last too long when you are actually using Teamspeak, most get shunned quickly, besides they like the anonymity of the forums better.
  23. Thanks for the great pictures and the "inside dope" gentlemen! I could read premium post's like these all day long.
  24. Great write-up 711Hancer, I just need to add my cautionary 2 cents...:smilewink: You are right of course, hooking the red data linked triangle is the easiest, but I would advise you make sure to know to enter the JTAC provided UTM coordinate into your CDU just in case. Only knowing the "hook the red triangle" method will come back to bite you.
