Wanting the shkval and abris on left monitor. Win vista Main display 1920x1080 left monitor is 1680x1050. I have gtx 260's in SLI so I hope i can pull this off. Even though SLI is doing squat for me at the moment. :(

I'd like some help also I have no clue what I'm doing but I have a 1920x1080 "MAIN" and 1680x1050 on my "LEFT" Anyone be kind enough to do the math and post the .lua files? Also I'm running Vista64. I tried this once and had to revert back to default it was so messed up. Also thought you only needed the "phantom" monitor when having it on the right side? I also know you have to use windowed mode? Might as well write all this in russian to me IM LOST.

Pilatso my QX6700 hits 3.7ghz with 13x multiplier :) I run it at 3.44 24/7 till I get another res for my vid card. Was it worth $1000? For me it was all that matters :)

Actually no I haven't I figure I've done more than my part on trying to get this issue with activations resolved. There should be no waiting 6 months to get a response from anyone in todays world. I've givin up trying and cant be bothered to try again basicly im fed up. Sorry. :(

Pil got my quad running 3.44ghz 4threads orthos stable at 1.34volts H20 cooled. So ya you can run a quad as fast as its duo counterparts. I've hit 3.7ghz but thats just for a 190,000 score in aquamark for fun lol. Nice build by the way.

Well 4 months later since my last post, I've still got no reply. Lucky for me the multi core patch for FSX is out and i can run that game flawlessly now. And the best thing is I'm on my 2nd computer with 2nd Operating system and all i had to do was click install and I'm airborne. GG Ed. Hopefully blackshark will not have this kinda support. OUT!

Well this is why i burnt all my activations minus all my hardware upgrades... I had no idea it had to be in the lockon directory. :(

Just checked same key as before matched with my reciept. I did get ahold of olreg via pm and he forward my info to ED team hope they are swift new rig gets here tomorrow and my water cooling on friday. :)

Emailed them again about a week ago i think. Still nothing. My new rig gets here thursday and I wanna see what she will do in lockon. Sigh :( I dont plan on paying for lockon FC again with Black Shark on the horizon either.

Oleg :) Plz check emails for ED I've been waiting for a response also for 4 months. I've been patient. I have sent a second email to ED about a week ago and no response to this one either. Please respond my new rig is due here this Thursday and I'm out of activations. My new Quad core/g8800gtx *H20 Cooled is going to want some lockon goodness when it arrives. TY.

Sent an email about 2 months ago asking for additional activations as of computer upgrades and burning 2 of my activations on first install. Well, I'm still waiting for any kind of response even an automated one.

Hasn't nvidia had this MSAA since gforce 7 also 6 series i capable of it I hear. Slap me if im wrong.

My only concern is that I'm on my last activation for the dload version of flaming cliffs. I've taken about 4 months off away from the game now im back with no activations left. FC has never been on more than 1 pc that I own. I have upgraded it many times (3 vid cards, 2gig ram,new sata hd's)to get the most out of the sim my pocket book will allow. SF took 2 activations first install and 3 from upgrading my vidcards. I dont mind having starforce on my machine but i should be able to install it as many times as I wish on my machine also. I paid to use the software for 1 machine. Now after I upgrade to conroe/g80 I will have no activations left. Sorry I have not been around much to know if ED will Give back activations or not? Anyone in the know please respond?

Sounds like you are out of activations. I'm on my last one also after 3 diff upgrades and my first install costing me 2 keys. I just hope ED doesnt make us pay again. I've upgraded vid card 3x and ram once the ram didnt cost me one but the vid cards did all 3 times. Bummer...

The load on the cpu is from poor optimization and poorly written pixel shaders fellblade said the shaders are doing much harder math than need be. Combine this with the everything on the map rendered at once and there goes your fps. If people with conroe rigs are getting dips into teens why waiste more money on another cpu when it only net me 5fps more in the low points of the scale? And btw i have 2gigs of ram did not see any diff in fps from 512to2gig just less frequent pausing on pagefile load. Ram does not increase fps in any game far as i know.

Ah yes, I remember back when lockon was first released 1.0 a guy fellblade? Rewrote some of these shaders on his own to make shaders more optimized. He did this in a matter of weeks/months on his own for ps1.1. He never got around to making the ps1.3 version or possibly 2.0 version due to his work taking all of his spare time. The way i see it if 1 guy can do this in a matter of weeks/months why can't a software developer do so? God knows i know nothing about any of shader tech or anything of the sort but ffs how hard is it to rewrite shaders for someone who knows how? Least this might help with smoke effects/clouds/overcast. As for the engine itself rendering everything on the map at once that should have been fixed long ago IMHO. Why then does the engine make everything fade in if its already being rendered? Anyone in the know please comment I cant even fly the default su25T missions on my rig with smooth gameplay on 75% of them with scenes on medium/high settings. I would be willing to pay $50 for a patch with no additional flyables but an optimized game. As would most of us I think?

Try flying over kraznador on all high in any aircraft with 25,000 objects showing and post your fps anyone? That is without any AI or ground units even. Not playable with view distance on high scenes medium/water medium on my rig. :( Thinking about conroe and g80 but i doubt it will help a whole lot in a city of this size with ground units/flares and 4X50,000 poly su25T's in the air. And how many poly is the ka50? Basicly a 200% improvement in hardware from 3 years ago to today results in a 10-20% improvement in lockon. Not sufficient for the "Tomorrow's Hardware" we heard back then. Then again no one has a g80/conroe rig to test this but I'd say my calculations will be fairly accurate. We will find out next month I guess. And, Vamp you're only rendering about 150 trees in that screenshot a p4 2.8 with 9800pro can prolly pull those fps in that pic. *Rant*And another thing after my conroe/g80 rig i will have exhausted my last activation for FC cause of upgrading my hardware so much for this damn sim. So will I have to pay again to play this sim on "Tomorrow's hardware"? *End Rant*

For audigy 2 and audigy 4 getem while they are hot. Cant say I've seen any difference in the games I play with em. But for you driver freaks out there just thought I'd spread the word.

Running them with no problems so far picked them up yesterday myself.
