Someone explain to me how this is going to stop piracy of lockon 1.1 again? Its going to make it worse! :( Another Issue I see is SLI rigs what happens when you disable SLI or enable SLI is that a hardware change? I've also seen a thread on nvnews that starforce completely borked splinter cell with SLI. Thats why I ask.

What happens to your game after those 2 activations are used up ruggbut? Do you have to buy it 2 times in 1 day? I've seen no support as to what you do after those 4 activations are used up. Feel like being the the first to use all 4 up and see what happens?

How because my cpu is 333mhz fsb i overclock it to 400mhz its an amd2800+ overclocking 400fsb makes windows show it 3200+@2.4ghz. When the game freezes up many times i have to clear my cmos and load bios defaults of 100mhz fsb windows then shows it as an athlon 1.6ghz. Dont ask me how ask Bill Gates.

Just what I was afraid of even more disapointing is the 40% hardware change that if you lock-up and have to clear your cmos and overclock your processor you are going to run out of activations pretty quickly. Upgrade your video card, add some ram, how about adding a dvd burner? Bah!! "Lockon modern hardware combat" Flamming credit cards lol. I'm just joking but some of these things are truly uncalled for for trying to play a game.

I'm really interested to know this also. I overclock my processor and windows shows it to be the next processor up 3200+. If lockon does its "lock-Up" i have to clear my cmos and boot into windows and boot again to overclock again. Thus meaning starforce would detect that i just changed processor 2 times. Sounds lame think I might pass on lockon 1.1 if I will have to go through the trouble of getting new activation key or buying it again? Every 2nd time the game "locks up". I have yet to understand why the game locks up but when your online and hit f10 or f2 to many times it just does. Bummer.

Well in my squad its a well known no no to hit f10 w/an ati card or f2 or any F-keys for that mattter. Its like russian roulette till your game freezes and you have to do the dreaded hard boot. One time this cost me a corrupt boot sector and I had to reformat. Never had any such instance on my 6800gt so far (knock on wood). Ya go with the 6600gt it blows 9800pro away.

Wondering if this bug was fixed or if its still there. I'd like to know I have a ffb2 stick use it in conjunction with the throttle of the x45. Also setting ffb to medium results to high ingame and is harder to control precision. I guess if the ffb bug is fixed this will fix the 2nd situation as well. Tx

Sheesh get over it already you've stated your opinion on 2 or 3 different threads now. In my opinion it will be done when its done. I didnt lose sleep staying up all night to see if lockon 1.1 was released today. Actually I warned everyone not to get there hopes up. If it bothers you that much just dont buy it. It is the only real voice you have. Same goes for us all.

How hard is it to set up a pay pal account? I've sold many things over ebay maybe ED should look into them? Really though I'm in no rush my main rigs mainboard had its memorial services last week and will be a week or 2 before I can get it back up running. So LOL now you all have to wait with me. :)

Haha more like u need that to even run the game at 1024 with AA 4x and AF 8x confortably you talking 5 years from now before hardware can do this.

make a track and bench it with fraps and have other people run it for comparison. I've got one from aka "Monnie Rock" that will make u puke to see the fps. Of couse to be acurate everyone has to run same details and settings. On my 9800pro this particular track got like 12fps avg. Woot unplayable wonder how my 6800gt/oc would do. prolly get 20fps lol. Seems some people have no choice since they paid for the game and it wont work w/out a crack. Shame it comes to this. Game doesnt like your dvd drive then you have no choice but to dload and put the crack patch in if you want to play what you paid for. Again copywrite protection screws no one but the paying customer. If you're gonna buy it you're gonna buy it.

Not to mention the game has already been cracked. Sigh

In comparison I ran the mig29 intercept demo w everything on high but view distance on medium and reflections on at 1600x1200 2xAA 8xAF ended with 30fps. Then ran IL2 pacific fighters (kamikazee02 track) w/water=3 1280x1024 default driver settings and got 29.5fps avg.

By the bubble canopy looks like a platipuss. Is that an ingame pic? The water is an odd color? Or am I color blind.

Lost count of installs of lockon. Had many hardware changes over the last year. More than 3 thats for sure :wink:

In 2 days ED hasn't said anything thats scary in its own right. But from how I read it on the russian forum they said it. 3 hardware changes then u will need to get a new key. I can't be calling mother russia every day for a new key. Or would I have to buy this key again???

How about clearing cmos booting to windows then overclocking? Or how about just a bios update. Doing these things makes my cpu register diff so I guess if lockon does its typical lockup and I have to clear the cmos I would have to pay for a new key after a couple online sessions?

Hate to start another SF thread but this one I need the devs to see. In online play we have all had the lockon lock-up at one point or another right? Well, on my motherboard when I have to hard boot sometimes I will have to clear my cmos. For me to do this I have to load bios defaults and let the computer boot into windows. (it has to boot all the way to windows or the changes will not take effect). Windows now shows my cpu as amd athlon 1.7ghz. I then reboot and change to my normal settings wich is xp2800 @2.01 ghz. Well being a tweaking fool as I am I overclock it to 2.4ghz and it now shows up in windows as an xp3200+ processor. This doesnt even include bios updates. Same thing for me there also. 3 Hardware changes for me in one lockon lock-up. Just another example as to the problems ED will see when this starforce 3 hardware change is implemented. ED, you need to rethink this starforce 3 hardware changes. If i buy FC the 3 change thing could come in the first hour I have FC. Hope ED realize this.

ED might be saying the same thing come release day. :roll:
