The potential is incredible. How easy would it be to create my own profile for the Tomcat? Is it done in the app? I was checking the wiki but I’m still confused. EDIT: I just tested it, works perfectly! Next step is to make some simple profile for a warbird... @Moridar would it be possible to have more official templates for other jets from you? Even If I manage to do some simple template... I am not sure I could make something like the FA18 sample from you. EDIT 2: I managed to understand the basics and I am halfway done with the Tomcat Display interface (I already got the Modes switches working), this is awesome! Probably tomorrow, I will finish it. Thanks!

I tested mirrors ON and OFF in Marianas and mirrors seems to cost more performance than normal.

I think Storm of War is one of the best things WW2 DCS actually has, it is such a pleasure to join the server, an endless sense of pure adventure. Who wouldn't like to see it expanded to the pacific? I Think that, if ED is serious about DCS WW2 and the pacific front, this superb document should be considered highly. This app looks exactly what I am looking for. I have a couple of questions : -is IOS support planned? I don’t have android tablet. -Are warbirds going to be supported in the future? Sometimes is nice to arrange important switches so we don’t have to bend our neck and fight with the mouse. Ty

And that is the problem, if we have to find evidence of it being used extensively… I guess we would not have many nice things in DCS. This remembers me about the recent issue with RAZBAM attempting to remove the AGM-65F from the Harrier, since there was no evidence of it ever being used, BUT the aircraft was a certified platform to use such weapon. Finally they decided against. After all, this is a simulator, if the aircraft can support the weapon, why not? The K4 could theoretically mount the gunpods under the wing, also the rocket launcher tubes. Would it fly as nicely with those things hanging under the wings? Hell no, but sure we would enjoy the option. I think all this confusion comes from the manual and the cockpit controls, remembering us of something that is missing, more options. The 109 deserves this and more, such a beauty.

@BIGNEWY Could you feed us any info about future plans for the Bf 109? Honestly, the cockpit animations and the lack of armaments options need some fresh air.

I can still see jitter in 2D, it is very distracting... I will try to make a short video today. I play with everything at High/Ultra (Clouds Ultra), capped FPS withing the engine at 60 FPS and also use G-sync.

No, I don’t know how long it’s going take… yesterday I frozen 4 times when trying to play online and I just gave up. At least I can always play your excellent campaign, which I already started (Fear The Bones). in the meantime, online playing with the Tomcat is just a frustration source, I switched to warbirds completely for online affairs …

I know, but only people who have been flying it for a while can give back accurate info. I already know I would like flying it, I’m just concerned about possible long crippling bugs. Ty for your help

I was going to buy the F-5E today or tomorrow before the sale expires but… with this kind of bugs being ignored…. Not a chance. I guess that checking the forums before a purchase is good practice to avoid frustration. I wish every plane was given the same amount of attention

Supposedly fixed but never merged in DCS... known bug. Like freeze on re spawn.

Exactly, respawn with the Tomcat freezes DCS. Not always but too often. this must be the biggest problem ATM
