  1. Here's a short track with the issue described above. ATC Bug Nov. 2023.trk
  2. Experiencing this as well.. Request engine start, it gets approved... Then I can't request taxi, the only option is to request engine start... after taxiing a short while (don't know if it is distance or time triggered) I get a taxi clearance. Takeoff clearance gets given, then revoked when I start the takeoff, and a couple of seconds later I get the takeoff clearance again... This behaviour is only recent.. if anyone wants a track file let me know... Thx, Fresh
  3. It has been working for me. But I could not get MIDS VOC A or MIDS VOC B to work on the Hornet. It would be great if the lobby also had the option to be tied to a frequency in game as it were, so that LOTatc could be used. Thanks, Fresh
  4. Hi Bankler, I tested your 2_7_3_Test mission. Did SH, worked. Changed to pattern mode, that worked. Changed to break mode, that worked as well with a landing, then tested Case3 mode, that worked as well. Then back to pattern mode with LSO and feedback disabled, all worked as expected. Point system worked for each variation. I didn't use the recovery tanker, but it was circling above, as expected (I checked in TacView, it looked correct). By the way, all that on my public MP server (where your mission runs most of the time ) Thanks for your support! Fresh
  5. I have a division of Hornets landing on the carrier. They all park at the stern, however the last one is on the elevator. It goes doen into the hangar bay, then drives through the wall and exits the other side, jumps up to deck level and then begins to spin away in ever increasing distances from the carrier. 6. Thanks Shrike_AU, that tip with renaming Viper-1 to Viper fixed lesson 24 for me.
  7. Negative, so far no luck turning it off...
  8. Spot_Dot.mov This is what I see (albeit zoomed in, so that you see what I mean). I started a mission at the carrier, pressed F9 and zoomed out until the helicopter view dot appeared, then rolled my mouse wheel back and forth. In the second half I looked at a tanker far away and swayed back and forth to vary the distance.
  9. I'm using an HP Reverb G2 VR goggle. I can't get the autoexec.cfg line to work, so I can't switch this off. The dot comes suddenly just as the original object view fades out. Using native VR resolution at 60 Hz options.lua
  10. You can use any text editor, even the default Notepad. Copy/Paste the text into it, then save the file as autoexec.cfg Windows doesn't like the .cfg extension, that is why you get the warning when you download it. UPDATE: I didn't realise. but my .cfg extension was not being used, because it still had .txt appended. (So check your properties tab to make sure it really has only a .cfg extension) I added this line: options.graphics.maxfps = "30" to test that the .cfg file was being read, so now I know it is being read. I have tried the following permutations without success: DotRendererExperiment = False "DotRendererExperiment = False" DotRendererExperiment = false DotRendererExperiment = "False" dot.renderer.experiment = "false"
  11. I put the LOD slider to lowest (full left), it doesn't make a difference.. They do say it is WIP..
  12. No, all off, but I'll try the LShift+F10, you never know... Edit: tried, but it didn't work. The problem is only when looking through my HP G2 VR goggles.. Thanks.
  13. I had to create that file, and entered the text as above, but the big ugly blobs are still there.. is there a syntax that I am missing?
  14. Can you tell us more? Single Player? With/without AI? Did you make the mission yourself? I can test it if you want..
  15. Hi, if you want to stop the Home Fuel warning just extend the fuel probe (I know, this is a very ugly workaround...) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Now finished mission 2, have some remarks (caution: spoiler alert!):
  17. Hello Baltic Dragon, I just finished mission 1, loved it! Looking forward to the next missions. Just wanted to report the comms are wrong, telling me the FB is 211 then 210. The actual FB is more like 199 or 200. I checked the LSO monitor and saw the BRC was 209. Cajun almost killed me when Texaco spawned and he turned suddenly to intercept.. I saw the warning in the briefing, but thought that happened just as we are about to connect. Just to share the experience. Thanks!
  18. Hi, I've tried to make a mission with 4 aircraft already in parade formation. I was successful, but I wanted to report that I have to move the player aircraft to a different position compared to when the aircraft is controlled by an AI. Basically, I have to put the pilot's aircraft where I have would have the AI's pilot helmet... Start the mission load, but instead of clicking "Fly" just press the cross, top right, then use F2 view to see the formation as a whole... Thanks. Fresh Parade Formation with Player.miz Parade Formation.miz
  19. I've made some pictures for you. Basically lineup the three horizontal lights. The middle (wingtip) light tells you if you are acute (ahead) or sucked (behind). Put the wingtip light in between the nose and tail light. If the wingtip light is high, your position is low and vice-versa. The vertical light on the vertical stabilator helps to give you a sense of distance and orientation. See the file names for an explanation. File names got changed... editing to help... OK: \ - = - Sucked: \ - = - Acute: \ - = - Low: \ = - - High: \ - - = For info: I am not a military pilot, just sharing with you how I do it.
  20. Thanks for testing! Good to know that the F-15E is deviating. Fresh
  21. Hi there. DCS correctly implements temperature effects. That means when it is cold your are lower than shown on the barometric altimeter. In summer you are higher. Roughly 4% difference per 10 degrees deviation from standard ISA temperature. Try your test again but make sure the sea level temperature is 15 degrees celcius. Good luck! Fresh
  22. Hi gents, you can try my bombing missions with helper gates.. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3316462/ Links to other variants are in the description. PM me if you want more info. Fresh
  23. Hi Pravus, thanks for your input. I've spent a while searching for AI Aerobatics API without any luck. Can you send me a URL/Link to help me find the task scripting API? Thanks, Fresh
  24. Hello, can anyone point me to a post/wiki that will help me find out how to control an AI aircraft. I want to be able to tell the AI to perform certain turns, like a 3 G turn to the left for 90 degrees. I have a waypoint with an aerobatics sequence in it, but I would like to give the client the option to trigger other sequences. Thanks, Fresh Here is the non-flexible version of my mission: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3326105/
  25. Hi Mark, the speeds and heights are meters and km/h (true airspeed). Check out my TAC FORM mission, lead flies predictably what I programmed. If you select "immediately" in the checkbox, then the pilot strings the maneouvers together even if he hasn't stabilised at the entry speed and height. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3326105/ Fresh
