  1. Hello there. I haven't used the 97s in quite a while and I think that the option for release angle is relatively new, so I haven't tried it out much. I've watched the tutorial that Wags posted about lofting 97s, even the LADD mode and all others, but whenever I try to loft them (I've tried 10,20,30,45 degrees) nothing happens. Here's what I do: -I align the flight path marker with the vertical line and keep a level flight -When the timer reaches 5 seconds or less, I start pressing the weapons release button. -When I get the cue to pull up, I do so and follow the marker to the best of my ability Yet when the desired release angle is reached, nothing happens, no weapons come off. (And yes, I've checked, my master arm switch is on lol) I guess for best feedback I'll have to post a video, but I think I've had enough for today...
  2. Thanks a lot! I am sure many others will find this useful! Additional question, is there a confirmation about the Super 530s, I suppose only the M variant will be able to carry them or they won't be added at all? Do we have any info about those missiles at all?
  3. My question's really simple, honestly. I can't seem to find what the differences are between all the variants that will sooner or later come to DCS. Any explanation would be appreciated
  4. Yeah, it's absurdly close (yet still not TOO close) so the 120 should've shredded that flanker, which was also not that fast on top of that. Ridiculous.
  5. I want to add more footage that I have, where one 120C is DODGED by a flanker (it was shot from 5 miles, hot) Tacview-20220608-211601-DCS-_.zip.acmi
  6. That's actually a good idea, it is entirely possible that they opt to wait for the anniversary of the conflict's end. Either way- I hope it comes soon, fingers crossed.
  7. I want to point out that I have sent tracks to @NineLine for that same reason a few weeks ago, like 3-6 tracks. Those could be investigated as they pretty much show everything that was complained about. Before the F-16 could lock most targets from ~40 miles, but now a white dot appears on the radar that is impossible to lock for 5-20 seconds, depending on range, which could get you killed in most BVR fights. It's extremely frustrating.
  8. Hi there, my question is kinda self-explanatory. I am a bit out of the loop regarding the F-16 flight model improvements. I believe there were *some* adjustments made in the second half of 2021, though I do not remember how significant those were. So, are more changes to the FM to be expected in 2022 or does ED consider the work on the F-16's FM to be fully complete by now? I am asking because I was surprised of how easily every single modern jet manages to get on my 6 in both 1 and 2 circle dogfights. I know the Viper is considered to be a great ratefighter (2C) and I *think* I am doing everything right, especially maintaining my speed, around 420-440kn in a sustained turn, yet I get killed over and over. I am by no means the best dogfighter, but frankly, neither are my friends, yet I always end up on the losing side whenever they get inside something different than an F-16. This is why I decided to ask here, hoping that someone more experienced would clear things up, as well as getting some info on the state of the Viper's flight model accuracy. Any feedback is appreciated!
  9. This is an issue I've encountered as well. The problem, as already stated, is that when a missile is shot in RWS it does not track and goes bulldog(which is a known bug by know, I hope). When I tried reporting that, my replays also did not show that I was locking the target when I was indeed doing so. I think the RWS bug is bigger than expected as it makes the replays absolutely useless.
