I know ED at least reads the forum responses. ED is looking to hire people. This is likely an implied response to our requests, which could lead to the naval assets being improved. MFT

It is possible that ED might announce the F-4e, the F-15, and the south Atlantic map. We are keeping our fingers crossed while waiting for new announcements. MFT

We have discussed different jets, especially those publicized in online posts and teaser videos. When we ask for release dates, the responses are general. So, when is a possible time for new planes to be announced? One possible date is around May 27, 2022. That date is when the highly anticipated sequel movie Top Gun 2: Maverick is released in the movie cinemas. ED might release new planes and other modules at that time. It would be awesome if ED celebrated the release of Top Gun movie with related themes and missions. I am expressing my opinions. I have no knowledge of what ED will do. MFT

The other day, I saw DCS posted job vacancy positions with their company. It looks like the company is seeking qualified candidates to create new planes and jets for them. Perhaps DCS might use the newly hired people to work on naval assets. This is my speculation, of course. MFT

@Mike_Romeo I wanted the sonic cone to appear behind the jet when flying above the ocean at low altitudes. Thanks for showing the sonic cone on the JF-17. MFT

I saw the various positions being advertised in the forum with ED. For the qualified people that have the needed technical skills, they are likely to contribute to ED's planes, choppers, and more. I hope some of the positions might be used to update the naval surface ships and submarines. MFT

@BIGNEWY In the forum posts, we have hinted, suggested, and stated that the naval assets need updating. ED does a great job with the jets and choppers but seems to lack in updating the naval surface ships and submarines. As customers, what can we do to encourage ED to update the naval assets? MFT

In addition to checking Red Kite'sYouTube videos, I check the DCS website at least a few times during the day. Waiting for the F-1 Mirage to drop. Speed up the beta testing so we can fly the F-1 for instant gratification. MFT

The ultra-low water effects would also look great when following subsonic anti-ship missles while flying towards their intended targets. MFT

Razbam, any new updates on the South Atlantic Map? Inquiring minds want to know. Any response, along with teaser video, would be appreciated. Mike Force Team

Sign me up for the SU-17. Looks similar to the Mig-21. Looks like a great jet to use in all our current maps as well as future maps. MFT

@AvgeekJoe Right now, the Mig-21 is the only jet that has a free-fall nuclear bomb. When the nuke bomb explodes, you do not see a mushroom cloud. Instead, you see a brown spot where the bomb detonated. Just to let you know. MFT

@FlankerKiller I am open to your suggestion for the A/C-130 Spector gunships. MFT

Yes, please add the mach cone and ultra-low-altitude water effects. In the Top Gun 2: Maverick, there is a scene in a movie trailer where Tom Cruise flies over a guard shack near a military base and the people experience the "whoosh" from the F/A-18 flying by. The water effects would be great to see when flying at 100 feet above the ocean going supersonic. MFT

I am happy that DCS does not charge a subscription fee. I know that we do not get brand new jets, choppers, and new maps as we would like. In the meantime, I use the planes, jets, and maps that are currently available to enjoy the virtual aviation. DCS is a nice market company. They offer very realistic jets and choppers from various eras, but not providing new products every week or so. We wait for DCS to tell about scheduled releases. Yes, we all want instant gratification in flying the new jet/chopper, trying out the new module, or flying in a brand new map. Focus on what is currently available. Many players in ED have limited budgets. MFT

Since a global map in DCS world is likely years away, I looked for places for inspiration. I select obscure locations, which could be used for missions or campaigns. The Wiki map I included in my initial forum post shows how either land based aircraft and/or carrier based aircraft could have a mission or campaign. Yet, I defer to the more knowledgeable people that know how to create navigable maps to for virtual pilots to use them. MFT

I hope some skilled programmers (coders?) would be able to create a realistic B-52 where the different roles (pilot, tail gunner, navigator, etc.) are integrated. The integrate would hopefully be incorporated in a player controlled AI bomber. MFT

Virtual pilots are really, really eager to take delivery of the Mig-23. And they are willing to pay for it. Based on the last response, it sounds like one developer is working on it. The developer is updating the Mig-23 when they have time. MFT

@M F1 We hope the F-1 is available soon. Virtual pilots want to take out the bad guys and sink enemy ships with exocet anti-ship missles. MFT
