I saw the WIP screenshots of the briefing room in the Super Carrier. In turn, I had an idea. I suggest that the Super Carrier mod permit the aircraft carriers to sail in arctic seas. For example, the aircraft carrier sails the frigid waters off the coast of Norway.

@Swaps. Here is something else that might affect your flying the SU-25. It is the internet speed and internet connectivity. If possible, use a hardwired connection directly to your computer. I recommend using either Cat 5e or Cat 6 ethernet cable. If you want to go wireless, I recommend going with a high-end gaming stand alone router that is either Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6e. The high-end routers will likely cost $500-$800. Another choice is to buy the top-of-the-line cable modem router from your cable provider. The advantage with using the cable company's modem with wifi router is that you have 24/7 technical support. On the other hand, you can purchase the cable company's high-end cable modem with Wi-Fi router outright. In some instances, the cable company might allow you to spread the purchase over a few months. Timing for releases such as the F/A-18 Super Hornet can depend on things. For example, I would be very surprised if DCS released a special edition F/A-18 for the upcoming movie called Top Gun: Maverick.

Welcome to DCS :). We are glad you are gaining some experience flying the SU-25. I wanted to share my experiences with the SU-25 and offer insights into other aspects of DCS world. When I first joined, I learned the SU-25 was hard to fly, to land, and just a handful to manage. To gain more information, I watched various YouTube videos on channels such as Grim Reapers and Prickly Hedgehog. They have archived videos showing a detailed evaluation of assorted jets and choppers. Of course, asking for suggestions in the forum is another way to get more information. I purchased the F/A-18 hornet as my first paid jet. I discovered this jet is easier to fly and manage than the SU-25. The F/A-18 is more user-friendly and much more forgiving. The hornet's simplified layout and integrated layout reduces pilot's fatigue, which allows you to enjoy the flight and experience the action of aerial combat. Even more so, the F/A-18 allows you to either land on an aircraft carrier or at land-based military installation. Another module to consider is the Supercarrier module. This is an aircraft carrier that allows you to do maritime missions. Additionally, consider investing in the Persian Gulf map and the Syria map since many gamers create missions or military campaigns using these maps. For now, I would suggest waiting about purchasing the F-14. It is hard to fly and tends to experience flat spins. The F-14 was used in the popular 1986 movie called Top Gun. Next, here is how you can strategize your purchases. Approximately once a quarter, the DCS website has an announcement about new planes/choppers being released. They appear as Early Release Access, which is a discounted price. At the same time, you will see other planes/choppers that are likely to have reduce prices. Here is the way that DCS manages their information releases over time. Suddenly, a whole bunch of new planes/choppers are available ! You will see periodic updates on a plane/chopper that show works-in-progress. Additionally, they may also release new map modules. You can also purchased assorted WW2 aircraft at a discounted price. Some heavily promoted future releases are the Apache chopper, the F-15 strike eagle, and the South Atlantic map. Congratulations. You might consider investing in rudder pedals, corded gaming headphones, a HOTAS joy stick, a battery backup, a gaming mouse, and a gaming monitor. I do not have gaming speakers because I either use the corded gaming headphone or my computer's speakers. I know these items are expensive, but acquire them one item at a time. Since I am not a pilot, I have no experience with the different types of jet fuels. The more knowledgeable folks are happy to chime in with their experiences. MFT

With the system of arrester cables and arrester nets for land-based runways, this would be a great option for the air bases to use. This adds realism to the DCS World. ED, please add this. Thank you. MFT

When the Eurofighter is available, we will have dates for hostile targets. We can shot down the bad guys' bombers or fighters. When doing A/G mode, we look forward to neutralizing the enemies' tanks. Additionally, we get to create new viewing videos for YouTube. Yeah, great thoughts.

In a future update, can the virtual pilots have the option to select different types of jet fuel: JP-8, JP-4, and JP-5? I am familiar with the JP-8. What about applying the choices for jet fuel for choppers?

For the Eurofighter, can we add the swing role?

Razbam makes super awesome fighter planes such as fighter jets. Could/would/will Razbam consider making fully controllable and flyable bombers such as the B-1 and B-52 bombers?

When the Eurofighter is available, will we be able to use in the South Atlantic Map?

Yes, the naval aspect of ED has been neglected for quite some time. I hope that ED will update this component with more modern ships that work properly. MFT

Upyr1, there is possibility that Razbam might be working on a Viet Nam map. This is my opinion, of course. I watched a YouTube video where the developers that created the South Atlantic Map said they are "working on other maps." Unfortunately, the developers would not reveal the other maps they are working on. I, too, would like to see a Viet Nam map available. If a Viet Nam map is likely planned, it could be around the time they release their F-4 Phantom. As for Razbam's history, the do show their works-in-program (WIP) screenshots on various projects they are working on. In the meantime, we wait until ED and Razbam are ready to release more information in the future. MFT

When Razbam offers the South Atlantic Map, will they give us the "good customer discount?" The good customer discount is a reduced price since we had to wait a long time for the map to be released. It is a request :). MFT

ED releases photos of things such as cars, various tanks, and more. I like to focus on the smaller things and hope that ED will incorporate them.

If you are looking for your first jet, I recommend the F/A-18. This jet is very forgiving and is more user-friendly. Additionally, this jet allows you to land on either aircraft carriers or on land-based runways. MFT

Having a map with Iran & Iraq would be great. During the 1980's, both countries fought each other in a conflict that ultimately ended in a stalemate. Flying from the Persian Gulf or the Red Sea would be a starting point for exciting missions and/or campaigns.

For the KA-29, I want to see the anti-submarine variant. I want to carry the sonobuoys, the depth charges, and/or torpedoes to destroy the hostile submerged or surface vessels.

RKK01, I agree with you. When I saw the video footage of the F-1, I said, "Wow! I want it." And then reality sets in. We have to wait patiently or impatiently, which depends upon one's eagerness to wait. When the F-1 is finally available, I plan on loading at least one Exocet missile to sink some ships. I bet ED will likely see offering the F-1 when the Apache is available. This is my opinion. MFT
