  1. That‘s the announcement…..it was hard to find because it‘s just two sentences pretty at the bottom of text. There‘s also a small thread on the virpil forums where users direct to that link. But that was all I found so far….This would be the third AH64D flight control device I kow in development or even released : - komodo simulations: cyclic (released) collective (released) and tedac (anounced) - Max Flight Stick: cyclic, collective and pedals (without toebrakes) as complete set (released). - Virpil: collective (announced)?
  2. I take off my hat to you……this is incredible awesome work.
  3. Wow, I‘m hyped! That is really awesome…..Holy Crab. It will be a great addition for Helo operations with naval forces… They winch will be moveable? I guess, the Lady will be rescued lots of times…
  4. Yes, thank you!
  5. I believe RWLR and CMWS should be independent from each other…RWLR is off be default….I was just thinking, as I always first activate RWLR and then CMWS when I run my startup procedures…
  6. Do you activate RWLR on ASE - UTIL page?……just thinking
  7. Best would be probably visiting the Discord Channel. You get the free version there: https://discord.gg/5r4xNWBk
  8. I wonder if this is already official anpumpend other than in Virpil Anouncement of 2022 VPC Shadow Tournament: „And we almost forgot - the VIRPIL Controls development team is working on the release of a new collective grip for Q3 2023 - winners of the tournament and two lucky spectators will be invited as test pilots for this new grip. What collective grip is this? The Apache Collective of course!“
  9. Thanks, very interesting
  10. Did you as PLT shoot the hellfire or did you order George CPT/GR shooting?
  11. I‘m on latest OB and did last fire it up two days ago. Worked as it should….I even have keybinded the knobs to my streamdecks, and no problems with. Have you keybinded or used the mouse?
  12. And a new one from this week on PC discord.
  13. The button on UEFD activates the stopwatch, yes. actual time is displayed in the UEFD display in the right bottom corner
  14. Yes, that‘s true. It was made for battlefield opposing huge tank armies. I live in Germany, so I have special feelings about Cold War era. Thinking back my childhood in the early 1980‘s, I remember the Reforger exercises each late summer when nato tank columns came into my hometown. And helicopters of course, lot‘s of Kiowas, Hueys and Cobra‘s at this time, which used our local football field as landing spot. We children were so excited and always tried to get a look into the cockpits ……and didn‘t realize why it was all about.
  15. A Clock function is in the EUFD display. There‘s a button for it on the device.
  16. Thanks @Raptor9 I fully agree…. I think it’s important and the right way the crew which pulls the trigger has to decide and not a computer. And I fully understand that years of training are required to learn required procedures and get the needed experience.
  17. Ok, but then the crew must expose the helicopter from cover for safe targeting and shooting. I think a lot of users waiting for the FCR for DCS AH64 because they might want target and fire from cover ….
  18. Yes, thanks for the information. I was always wondering how safe and correct is target aquisition and identification with the FCR. I mean, there’s much more happening on the ground with vehicles and clutter etc. than in the air. I understand the technical side the FCR works, but does the crew only rely on these data? May be there are some special procedures the crew has to do while targeting with FCR than with TADS where you have visual confirmation?
  19. I‘d really love a core implementation of Vaicom. Problem could be VoiceAttack on which Vaicom relies and that software is not free….just thinking. Besides that I wanna thank the Team working on Vaicom now…..they do a great job
  20. I use this method in missions as well…even close to ground e.g. 200ft. The helo constantly moves a bot up and down a few feet, but never touched the ground. This was in 2.7. Haven‘t checked it yet in 2.8….
  21. back to KW…….a recent picture from PC Discord Channel
  22. I like this idea as well
  23. Yes, noticed a few days ago….since latest OB it is not possible activating the sensors anti-ice don‘t…
