Any plans on giving George the ability to freely search for targets like our gunner would in Gunship 2000, Longbow 2 or Gunship! ? This would be really nice for him to call out these targets/threats as he sees them without the pilot having to spot them, turn the Apache and then issue a search area command. In Gunship 2000 he would say stuff such as "target right" or "target left" etc. but nowadays I bet he could call them out by the o'clock position or bearing.

I know it's a lot to ask. But the amount of information you can feed into the system is a lot more than currently used by fw assets. There needs to be a way to feed all that info to the aircraft besides fat fingering for the better part of 30min with the amount of entry errors to boot. data Comms VHF/UHF/FMx2/HF for every unit Waypoints/TGT/coordinating measures/Route's/Maps Laser codes Default modes for systems

Greetings. Nice feature to have in game however is it possible to add or guess coming features / wishlist item to have the ability to add the PFZ / Terrain points and other points for the TSD to avoid having to manually enter all this in game. Would save a lot of time in game for data entry. ME is really the only mission planning software we have available. if there is a workaround or another option let me know thanks Shrike

just that, where is the Bullseye info of the radar cursor position? it should be above the own BE posit at the top low left side od the mfd. both in RWS and TWS modes.

Quick q: I was reading some posts from a couple years ago and they mentioned the coupled AP was being worked on (ap wp follow) but can't find any recent info about it. Is the coupled AP working these days? Thanks!

Hey, are we able to do a waypoint offset? For example from a bullseye, so we do not have to use the TDC on SA or radar screen page? I remember doing it in the A10C couple of years back.

SLAM-E works great. I can launch it something like 50nm from TGT. Sometimes S300 gets em, often not, if LOW alt profile. However the tacti-cool looking H with that 21'st century glazed gold nose, is not available as armament. According to Wiki. H/K SLAM-ER is carried by F/A-18C as of Y2K. Future update? F/A-18C appears now to be the most sophisticated and deepest of ED sims. Title previously held by A-10CII by ED. F-14B seems to be most complex of 3rd party.

Just curious does the ATC work for landing on the Super Carrier? I watched a video on it, flying at an air base and I thought he said it works on carrier. But I wanted to try it and on the down leg, I would have crashed if I didn’t take control. Then I made the final turn and set it again, got a solid ATC on the HUD but it wasn’t controlling anything

So what is the procedure if doing a case 3and then you bolter? Do you just go back into the pattern again like in case 1, or do you go out to 6 miles astern and try again? v6, boNes

Dont get me wrong the currently existing ACM submodes bore (especially with JHMCS), hud scan, vertical scan are pretty good. But when is slewable coming? And markpoints would be great to use for viper ground striking I think to mark out where some targets are. That is all. I had a bit of a slump and and kinda lost interest in the viper for a while last month; I got the basics figured out already pretty well. There was not much new features in viper. But I went back to viper to learn air refueling and little bit about TACAN and ILS landings, to keep my mind busy so its ok. I've also been playing A-10cii and also enjoying the groundpound, its a very nice module for some relaxing ground strike in the afternoon. Keep up the good work squashing bugs and bringing new viper features ED. I think I will start playing some of my other modules like hornet soon also. Seems like its a very well fleshed out module with the carrier ops and ready made features. I will most likely go really confused about all the control binds though!

Trying to recreate the pull up profile in the F-16C manual (p 285). I followed the steps but I can't get it to work. In A-G master mode using a CCIP (mk-84) in 1 profile. I can fill in the DED information but when I want to M-SEL (0) the TGT-to-PUP line it won't revert to inverse colors (black letters / yellow background) as in the manual, and the PUP symbology is missing. Am I missing something?

Hi, After testing GBU-24 with the F-18, I have the feeling that the release range is quite short, comparable to what a Paveway II bomb would do. By design, Paveway III LGBs are much more efficient than the previous generation, gliding a lot more, and thus giving us the ability to shoot for longer distances. The TOF is therefore quite short as well: a 40'' TOF from 20k feet seems quite normal for a Paveway II, but it's very short for a Paveway III at the same altitude. Could we have someone looking at this? For example, FAS.org gives us an idea of these ranges. Thanks!

I saw "briefing room" in Forum. In latest news, even talk about 3D briefing room, but I never saw it in game. My question is where is "briefing room"? how to enter the room? Thank you !

Hello, i noticed that whenever i flick the switch for the speed in the HUD to ground speed, no ground speed is displayed. CAS and TAS work fine but GS is always 0. Is there something else to do so that ground speed works? I didnt find anything in the Early Access guide or in Chucks guide that this is not modelled yet or that something else needs to be switched on. Aircraft is started in air, and not by myself. Thank you

I distinctly remember in old sims of F-16s having an onspeed caret next to the speed indicator scale in the HUD, which lets you know if you need to slow down or speed up to arrive at a waypoint on time. Anyone know if this is planned for the version we have? It was very handy and a great asset in planning from the cockpit. May have been for Block 52 - but may have been 50, I don't know.

Has the feature been implemented to adjust wingmen in multiplayer? By selecting list, then enter for the datalink, do we have the ability of editing in game who our wingmen are? I can't seem to figure out how this works. Any good tutorials on this? But if it hasn't been implemented, are there any plans to do so?

later in early access The supremely reclined pilot figure.
Rogue Trooper posted a topic in Wish List
As a chopper I love pilot figures, you are always looking over and down over your virtual body during flight. It is something that constantly happens whether looking through the choppers chin blister or head tracking a ground target as it passes below you to the right. For me this is the jet aircraft that places the pilot body in a very reclined position with his knees high... the pilots body and legs are always in view. it must be a very interesting view in VR sitting in the 16's pit, knees high and body slumped back (g-force reclined). Is there a pilot body coming? -
The asterisk on the upper right MPD bezel button allows the pilot to toggle through three previously selected "favorite" pages with the single press of the button or by cursor selecting the adjacent digital *. This enables pilots to be able to cycle through critical pages without taking their hands off the controls. REQUEST: Enable this wishlist item when able.

On the TSD main page, several buttons are missing as evidenced by [Rule 1.16]. RPT (Report page) to send messages and request messages REC (Receive) to view received messages JAM to switch jammer between standby and oper (only displayed when jammer is on) I'm aware those features are not yet implemented, however other not yet implemented features such as FARM reports in the COORD page are barred out instead of missing.

It'd be nice if you could put the numbers into the mode 3/S transponder at least, right now it's stuck on 1200 with no way to change it. SRS/LotATC doesn't recognize it either. Same with IDENT. As a side note, is 1200 even used by military aircraft for VRF in north america? I know 1200 isn't the standard VFR code for most of the world anyway. I think that one goes to 7000, with specific ones in different countries.

Hi everyone, when i'm on ground and would like to activate the anti-icing system to auto,it will not do the task. It's working before the last update.I'm miss something or just a bug?
-
I noticed that in Caucus's IA missions the Anti-Icing was switched OFF, so i switched them on as it was reporting a lot of ice... i tried a few other missions and found the same ... then i tried the Marianas take off from runway, where i found that it also was reporting Ice ... which seemed less likely? so with that in mind does ICE have an effect , or is it just flavour at the moment? ice in marianas.trk
