They also don't repair blown tyres. As for hydraulics, can't really say, when I loose hydraulics I usually do a belly landing which usually ends with a bruning crate and an ejection...

What Rich said. I can confirm that the engines have to be all the way down, 0 RPM. For re-arming screen just one correction - it's Left Alt+', Right Alt doesn't work. Also, you can re-arm and refuel, but that doesn't mean you'll get repaired, have to do it separately.

I have repair working on SU-25T, both online and offline. You do have to wait, and it takes time, and there's no feedback (countdown, or messages - sometimes the GC doesn't even say "copy").

Poll:Would you buy DCS Su-25 and if so what version?
PE_Tigar replied to Stalin's topic in DCS Wishlist
All of them. As stated before (or maybe not) I'd buy pretty much anything on A-10C level (except for the helicopters, that's just not my thing for some reason). If I was to choose - the TM, it's even more flexible than T. -
This issue appears with older missions that include old Config/View files. If you want to use these missions, edit the view files by copy/pasting all F-15 related entries from default Config/View files (from Eagle Dynamics/DCS World folder).

Su-27 modeled in DCS can't carry R-77 in real life.

First, uninstall and de-activate A-10C standalone installation. I don't know if you can use the old config files, but back them up just in case. Than (as you already have DCS World installed) you have to download a DCS World A-10C module, and then install it. Here's the link to the modules page: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?end_pos=136&scr=products&lang=en. After installing the module, you'll be prompted to activate it when you try to fly the A-10C - for that, use the serial you got for you stand-alone A-10C purchase and that's it.

What's his OS? Which rendering options is he using? DX version? Such notebooks usually have two GPUs - is he using the main GPU or the "auxiliary" one? What is the notebook model - GT555M means different things unfortunately - at least three architectures carry that name, along with different clock speeds, shader counts and memory configurations?

Hi - not too much of an expert, but why don't you try assigning those commands to other keys? The game layout may indeed be different, if you have a non-standard or older keyboard (I have one right here).

1. Try and ascertain approximately where the target will be, then look for the targets with Shkval. If there's some ground action going on, look for muzzle flashes, dust from moving vehicles, smoke and fire from burning vehicles... that sort of thing. 2. Nope, unfortunately.

1. you can (open rearm window (Lalt+') when on apron, then choose it as a centerline pod) 2. I don't think that the server can limit the pods, I don't see an option to choose what pods are available at an airbase (as opposed to aircraft and weapons).

@MOTO - from the unedited picture it seemed to me that the HDR was off... but may be the case of gamma/saturation etc. monitor settings. EDIT: Here's how it looks on my PC (HDR On, monitor calibrated)

RIP Flanker.. all hail the new king.
PE_Tigar replied to MadTommy's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
As for the Flanker vs. teen series vs. Raptor talk... I suggest listening to this guy: http://vayu-sena.indianmilitaryhistory.org/exercise-red-flag-su-30mki-comparison-fornof.shtml -
Turn HDR on?

At this stage, I'd give my money for any reasonably capable, relatively accurate fast mover. And by fast, I mean supersonic. And by reasonably capable, I mean at least one MFD+look down/shoot down radar. Actually I'm joking, I'd buy anything that has AFM. Yes, anything.

How to detect and counter an incoming IR SAM?
PE_Tigar replied to Hoggorm's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Umm, how do I explain this - it's a kind of a snap view that locks automatically onto a pre-determined object type. Look it up in options/controls/views (I think) for any airplane. I don't use it, so I'm not sure if one exists for missiles. -
How to detect and counter an incoming IR SAM?
PE_Tigar replied to Hoggorm's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
You don't know, that's a simple answer. If you don't want to get shot down you need to be paranoid :). In short - MANPADS and short-range IR AAMs are annoying. What I generally do is make sure I minimize the time I spend near or over hostile troops and vehicles, drop LGB's and bombs in general from 10000 feet plus in CCRP mode, and pop flares, turn and wiggle whenever I can reasonably expect there's a MANPADS or similar nearby. Also, use stand-off weapons on air defense assets as a priority. And yes, TrackIR helps with SA, there's no way around it. Maybe use padlock? -
BUG: Su-25T cockpit in Russian, indicator lights in English
PE_Tigar posted a topic in Su-25T Issues
As of 1.2.2, Su-25T indicators in the cockpit (trim center lights, hydraulics, engine start, IR jammer, fuel quantity, RWR/SPO) are only in English, although I've chosen Russian as the cockpit language. HUD is in Russian though, cockpit itself mostly in Russian, except for the notes on pilot's kneeboards, those are in English too. And of course, ATC and audio warnings are still in English, no matter what aircraft I fly or for which country. -
F-15C - 6DOF not functioning in multiplayer...
PE_Tigar replied to PE_Tigar's topic in Bugs and Problems
How do you do that? I can unpack it easily, but when I repack - what format do I choose? EDIT: Opened the archive with 7zip, deleted Config folder, now everything works fine - thanks! -
F-15C - 6DOF not functioning in multiplayer...
PE_Tigar replied to PE_Tigar's topic in Bugs and Problems
I'm the server :) and it works in other planes, in the same mission (Dragon's Gudauta Rush, I just entered added 2xF-15C). -
...head tracking works (X-Y axis) but other axes not working. In single player 6DOF works completely.

Let's put it this way - DCS: P-51 D is awesome, love it. But I don't fly it too much because it lacks: - a map where it truly flew in WWII (my favorite would be something like Benelux+surrounding areas). - ground objects from WWII - adversaries and aerial targets - all these could be AI, don't care, having a choice of a Mustang vs. anything German I'd probably fly a Mustang 90% of times. I know there are many people who are happy just to fly it, but I also like to shoot/blow things up, and generally pretend to be a combat pilot, not just a vintage airshow one :).

I think I have all of these, but don't have them installed. What would be the right way of installing FC3 for me - installing LOMAC -> FC3 as a module to DCSW? Can I uninstall LOMAC after I install FC3?
