  1. Congratulations on this development, Currenthill - well deserved. Another question for your FAQ, when you update it next - I’m sure many of us use updated HARM/RWR files (I combine yours and Nightstorms to support a variety of mods) - will your files be updated to remain compatible with any updated core script files for these codes? Well done again and thanks for all the work you’ve done and are doing for this community
  2. Thanks Team! Does this new update incorporate the recent hotfixes or are they still needed?
  3. I’m having the issues on landing at H4 as well - I get told to anchor, 1 and 2 then head off to another airfield and I get no comms from H4. If I eventually do press to land I get the gear malfunction (I was going to report this but now I see this is intentional…) but it’s not counted as a successful mission as I guess I don’t get to follow the script to trigger the end state. Any advice would be welcomed
  4. I’ve had a similar issue with the B-2 as well.
  5. I got it sorted overnight. Issue with the antivirus and firewall; I’ve done a few reinstalls over the years and it’s never done it before so this was a bit of a strange one. Now for a day of reconfiguring controls and mods…. Thanks everyone for the help
  6. That seems to have fixed the install, but I’m still getting an ‘Authorization Failed’ message for that module. Not sure why - never did before, and all my other modules are working.
  7. Hi all I’m having an issue with installation of the Flaming Cliffs 3 module. This seemed to arise today when I went to update DCS to the most recent release, and during the update the following message appeared, indicating the ‘A10A.dll’ file from Flaming Cliffs 3 was missing. This terminated the update and then after that, all of my modules were disabled/unauthorised. A DCS repair was unsuccessful. I ended up doing a fresh install, but the same error comes up. However, this time I can use other modules so I have at this point removed Flaming Cliffs 3. Looking in the ‘download’ folder referenced is true - there is no A10A.dll, but all the other FC3 aircraft have dll files there. Does anyone have any ideas what might have caused this? Or is there a way I can manually download a copy of A10A.dll and place it in the download folder to prompt the update/install to complete successfully? Thanks
  8. I worked it out. It was definitely the extraction process; probably the utility I was using. I noticed the various database folders were empty. Once I extracted the 7z archive using a different application (non-freeware) it worked, and the vessels are now usable.
  9. Hello Admiral, hope you are recovering well. For everyone in the community, has anyone else had trouble installing Admiral’s OSA missile boats? I’ve dropped it into the Saved Games - Mods - tech folder like all the others, but the OSAs don’t show up in the Mission Editor or in the list of Installed Mods. All of Admiral’s other ships I’ve downloaded install and work fine, but repeating the process with the OSAs is coming up blank. The only difference I can tell is that the OSAs downloaded as a 7z archive, but all the others were .zips. Maybe I’m extracting it wrong? Anyone got any tips?
  10. I think you’ve got it. I just had a play with that setting before I saw this message of yours, and it looks like it might have fixed it. Seeing this message now, I think we’re on the right track. I’ll see how it goes over the following days but I reckon you might have it. Thanks for the help!
  11. Hey SkateZilla, hope things are good. Is this still a project you are working on? AI Super Hornets and Growlers are about Number 1 on my new AI addition wish list, so your plans here make me excited. All the best with it!
  12. I don’t think so. Seems to occur regardless of whether I let it auto-manage settings, or if I manually manage them. It doesn’t seem to be an issue in any non-DCS programs using the GPU either.
  13. Yeah, I’ve done that. I thought my most recent install might have fixed it, but no - still happening. Your description is pretty much spot on - it does look like an over-sharpened image when it occurs.
  14. Thanks again for having a look at it for me. I tried the repair but it didn’t have an effect. I’ve decided to do another clean install, so I’ve given everything a good scrub and will download and install over the next couple of nights. We’ll see how that goes. If it’s no different I’ll probably just have to put up with it and hope it works itself out eventually.
  15. I’ve done a little more fault finding. It does seem connected with screen resolution, somehow. If I set to 1920 x 1080, non-full screen, it’s good; no distortion. Set to 1920 x 1080, full screen enabled, there’s distortion 2176 x 1224, non full screen - no distortion 2176 x 1224, full screen enabled, distortion 2560 x 1440 (highest res available) either with or without full screen enabled, there’s distortion. Outside of DCS, my monitor resolution is 2560 x 1440, without any issues, and my previous install had been running DCS without this issue at this resolution too. Does this give any ideas?
