Here is a good read, talks about the A-10C and its future http://www.af.mil/News/ArticleDisplay/tabid/223/Article/467818/force-management-programs-necessary-despite-budget-deal.aspx
  3. Man that looks nice!
  4. I remember they use to load 4 fake nukes on the A-10's in Alaska :D
  5. I think I worked on A/C 272 in Alaska.
  6. lol, but when we work...it's work that no one wants to do.
  7. When I was in Guam they had Global Hawks there and heard that a base back in mainland US would actually fly the missions once they got airborne. I'm not sure where they went every time they took off, but I do know a few places they went.....but can't repeat it. Look where Guam is on the map and see how close places of interest are.
  8. Yep and tell people what to do....oh yea...it's all about the numbers also.
  9. So paulrkiii, you sit in a truck all day.
  10. That looks stunning, maybe I can talk the wife into letting me get one next year.
  11. I heard that a few times, but I have not had problems tracking someone below me....but not at a crazy angle.
  12. That's what I have and I love it!
  13. This makes it crystal clear, so all these years EOS has been wrong. Being able to see a contact below the LOS for the EOS was a goof up that the Russian flyers enjoyed. I've never thought of it that way and we have all seen a lot of pictures of the EOS system on the jets.
  14. Depends on what you play, if you play A-10C then the choice would be the warthog. If you play everything then it's up to you. I have CH and love it, I've tried the Cougar about 4-5 different times and have always sold them and went back to CH. One thing I don't like.....wait and kinda hate about CH is the throttle. I don't know why CH won't make a new one! I haven't tried the warthog so I can't comment on it. As for CH, the programming is awesome, you can do anything with it and it's easy once you get the hang of it. Foxy for the Cougar isn't hard and I have not seen how TARGET for the warthog works.
  15. That's not sad, that's fun.

    A New Day

We are slowly getting old faces back.
  18. We want every jet flyable and at a DCS level....I still want my F-16...even at FC2 level.
  19. I built the computer in my sig last summer and it runs DCS great. It cost me $1538, so with a $2,000 budget, I'm sure you'll be happy with what you get. Just saw you are from Louisiana....what part? I'm in Bossier city....I work on B-52's at Barksdale AFB.
  20. Good call txmtb, maybe his trim wheel is not centered.
  21. Ok, this may seem a little crazy, but did you make sure the inputs are correct in DCS options? What I mean by that are your axis right in the options screen? Do you use CH Manager or DCS for all your controls?
  22. I flew DCS for the first time today in over a year and it looks amazing! EDGE looks just stunning so far, I like the direction DCS is headed in, nice job so far guys.
  23. Thanks  gotta keep hounding them, maybe they'll make it or someone else...cause it would do very well in sales.
  24. I'll keep saying F-16 until I'm blue in the face.
  25. That was the only thing wrong with the X-45 imho, it was a good HOTAS. I ended up giving it to a friend and when got my CH.
