  1. First of all it doesn't look good, the measurements are off, second the back lighting looks like crap and last the panels are too clean, they need to be more dull and have scratches on them. J/K man...that looks amazing, nice work on it. I'm gonna have to check out your 16 pit, that's what I think I'm going to make. I'm still praying that there is an F-16 in the very near future.
  2. That's what I'm going to try out, I downloaded TARGET yesterday. But I'm still keeping my eyes open until I decide about the Cougar.

    Omaha!!!

That's right brother, niners fan here since 1988.
  4. Long time no see, how are you doing? I know CH is bullet proof and the Fraken-Potato is awesome, as I have had CH for the past 10+ years with a few Cougars in-between. I love the Cougar, but it's single throttle and everything is dual throttle besides the F-16....which we don't have yet. I've seen the warthog for $350-400 and the X-65F for $309, so $400 is not a problem. The warthog doesn't have rotaries, which are nice but not a deal killer. I have flown with a warthog in the past and the other day, it is nice and I love the feel of it. I have only messed around with the X-65F at the store and it seemed nice. Warthog has no rotaries and X-65 has some weird button placement on throttle and stick. Also wish they added a little movement to the stick. I don't know why they didn't add a two-stage trigger to the X-65. The mini-stick on the warthog is something I didn't check out the other day...crap! Thanks for all the info so far guys. I have been looking at tons of reviews on both sticks. The X-55 looks better then the X-65, they moved the pickle button back where it should be. It looks the same as the X-65, with a few improvements and the stick moves.
  5. As the title says, which HOTAS....I'm thinking of buying a new one. I've had CH for the last 10+ years, I have tried several Cougars during that time and currently have a uber modded one. I want to hear from you guys the pros and cons of the list I name. I fly BMS, DCS A-10C, FC3 and DCS BS...ok here is the list 1. CH Fraken-Potato <----this is what I have now, it works great and has rotaries on the throttle. 2. TM Warthog 3. X-65F <---force sensing 4. uber Cougar <---try this again, it works great, I just hate foxy and need to mod the throttle. I could trade the Cougar for panels, I know a guy that has a CNC machine along with all the switches, knobs and buttons I'd need to make every panel in the F-16 or any jet I want.
  6. Is that you in the green shirt?
  7. I wonder how much I can get for my uber modded Cougar then, congrats on the sale.

    Omaha!!!

Looks like I didn't miss anything....was driving home from Dallas during the game.
  9. Looks like 3rd squad got their tanker support!
  10. I remember watching that in elementary school. RIP
  11. That is nice! Wish I still had my man cave.
  12. Nice, I've ducked under an F16's engine while it's running many times. Been inside a B-52 when engines are running.....I'd hate to fly a buff.
  13. I thought I saw somewhere that they are going to fix that.
  14. Has anyone removed the old Lock On/FC2 installs and just have FC3 yet?
  15. That doesn't look nice that the A-10 has smoking engines.
  16. That's just the way that some of the windows look like, nothing special.
  17. In FC2 after the F-15 fed down to ??? lbs, you could drop the centerline tank and the wing tanks would still be full. Haven't played FC3 enough to find out if it works the same way.
  18. Pilots have a checklist and if the list says to drop the tank....they drop it. You can't go wrong following the checklist.
  19. That is one reason why the external tanks feed first, so if something does happen they are empty and you have more internal fuel.

    Fantasy modules

I want the drop ship also, but without the alien in it!
  21. It's cool that we have a bunch of things in common like flight sims and model airplanes.
  22. Nice, I work at Barksdale and live in Haughton. I might need to ask you to make some stuff for me.
  23. That is nice!
