  1. When I was stationed in Alaska during every exercise they would hang ext tanks on the hawgs. We would have to go out and do op cks on them to make sure they would transfer....that's the one of the few times a ext tank would be on a hawg.
  2. That would be expected, 7 years is a VERY long time.
  3. That's not the reason why. They flew ALL their missions at night and had to be in the hangar before sunrise. They did that so they couldn't be seen by people while they were still in the testing phase. They wanted them in the hangars before sunrise so that satellites wouldn't be able to see them. We first heard about the F-117 in 1989, but they were flying for many years before that.
  4. Where is the popcorn, same ole stuff. A lot of the people will take 120's only when flying the F-15....at least the new guys. You are always going to have those people flying online......airquake.
  5. He likes toying with you guys and you fall for it.....lol
  6. I need to start flying this again, lots of stuff happening.
  7. Nice video on the F-18's! That Mirmar, I was TDY there for a few days back in 2010.
  8. Someone posted the same thing on another forum, I told them it wasn't over either. We have a long way to go, gonna be trimming the fat for awhile.
  9. +1, but it's funny and sad to see that some people have nothing else. The terrain is looking better, I like the trees in the screenshots.....nice job Ed. And that base looks stunning!
  10. I understand that, but how much is is really gonna effect the cpu....depending on what it is?
  11. The i5 is fast enough for you to not worry about background processes running. I have an i5 2500k and I haven't even overclocked it yet because there is no need to, it's fast enough. But, if you can get a i7 and you have the money.......might as well buy it.
  12. I have a uber modded Cougar and I use Foxy with no problems. Follow these instructions and you'll be fine, this is how I installed mine http://www.cubpilotshangar.net/page105.html
  13. Take it to pm's guys. I would love to buy the F-16 panels, but I said before as of now I'm making a generic pit which will incorporate monitors for a lot of my stuff. I'm just not that big into having all the physical switches, but if I was it would be a different ball game.
  14. I hope things work out for you Hog. I for one don't care if things are 100%, if something is a little off that is ok with me, but depending on how much. Some people go to far with some of this stuff. I'm looking at building a generic pit, hopefully using monitors for most of the stuff....but that's me. Thx for the the list DM, I would have never noticed any of that stuff and it would have still looked great to me. Good luck again Hog, these look great. And for someone to make them themselves they would be spending a lot of time and money. You will make building a pit a lot quicker and maybe even cheaper.
  15. That's a nice clean looking pit.
  16. What mistakes are those?
  17. 36
  18. To go sit on the toilet...:D
  19. Lmbo @ Boris post, out of those 2 choices I'd take CH also. Although I have been a CH user for the last 8-9 years. I have used X45 and several Cougars to include my current uber modded Cougar. My CH stuff is in retirement due to the Cougar. However, because CH works so well and I love the programming....I will never sale it. Only if CH would come out with a new throttle or transfer the guts from CH and put them in a Cougar.....then I'd be happy. My X45 worked well for about 6 months of heavy use, then it developed center play that only got worse. I sold the X45 for the CH set up. I still use my CH pedals with my Cougar, with no problems.
  20. Since I haven't been following this stuff for a while......what does it mean?
  21. Lmbo, guess you guys are gonna get another member. :D
  22. If it is, then that is a smart move, it looks good so far!
  23. I'm sure it will see an update in the future.
  24. Married with 4 kids here. I normally fly Friday and Saturday nights....with a few flights during the week if I'm lucky.
  25. Paul, 979 was in Alaska and I've worked that jet many times.
