  4. The problem of the mission is actually )) in some trick of the author. The desired IL-76 aircraft appears "suddenly" and the false IL-76 disappears "suddenly". Leaves a feeling of "light" deception. And in general, the sudden appearances that the author began to use are dishonest, they break the gameplay. From DCS you expect boring reality, but instead you suddenly see science fiction and arcade. There is probably no other way to make the mission difficult. But the disappearance of 76 in the sky and the appearance of another looks "suspicious". However, the most annoying thing is that even while observing the contrail of the desired aircraft, you cannot pick it up on the radar for quite a long time(ED may be). You feel like an absolute fool ))
  5. Very good campaign! I just enjoyed every mission, but only until 14 and 15. How so? What for? In the 14th mission, SA2 SAM, after dropping a bomb, shoots down with a rocket without a chance. Of course, I can achieve a "pass", but after the 6th attempt to get away from the SAM in the northeast, I gave up this occupation. considered it meaningless and too far from reality, just replaced GBU with JSOW and completed the mission. Three non-muted air defense systems, and F18 is obliged to shine with a laser like a lame duck. Probably JSOW is not fair, but there was no choice... I'm not Tom Cruise )) I can't shine a laser when performing a vertical maneuver )). In the 15th mission, the Su33 appears literally from the void! What for? To be difficult? But it can't be. Here is a screen where there are 2 phantoms. But a second later, SU33 appears out of nowhere. Right after the phantom was shot down. Then he instantly goes to 6 and quietly releases the R-73 ))) This is at least not fair. PS Completed the campaign. On the last flight, the SU33 appeared out of nowhere in the same place, but then for some reason it just flew to the northeast )) ignoring me and the wingman. After some time, he landed at Lar Air Base. Hmmmmmm..... PPS I was amazed by the number of people involved in the creation of the campaign. Your campaigns are the best I have seen in DCS. Tomorrow I start Dominant Fury, I bought it as soon as it appeared. )) Thank you for your work!

It seems that ACLS is not working correctly in all missions and campaigns created before the patch. The training mission created by the players after the patch works correctly. It has something to do with wingman. I don’t know if the ED will solve this or leave it as it is, it’s still not decided in the last patch.

Does it only control pitch and roll? Does it necessarily require the use of the ATC system and preliminary alignment of the angle of attack? Does it have certain trigger conditions? Which? What angles? Distance? What height? Up to 6 miles controlled only by hands? What is the CPL C/P indication? Why is she blinking? Why does she turn herself off? What is CPL HDG indication? Under what conditions does it turn on? Why is the tower giving the command to switch to mode 2? When, why and why should you press the A/P + CPL button? Yes, I did an auto landing in mode 1, but before that I crashed 3 times, ACLS just put me in the water. It was intuitive work. How does it actually work? I really need a brief description of the implementation of the system. I want to understand what I'm doing))

It was not once (for example, Raven-1 mission 3) when approaching a tanker, suddenly, for no apparent reason, an impact occurs and the plane starts to fall like a maple leaf at a speed of 58 knots. The control does not work. Sometimes with visible damage, sometimes without. Just slowly circling down. What could it be? I also noticed that when my AI is the first to go to such a refueling, then when approaching the tanker, pieces from it simply scatter in all directions )) but it still refuels successfully.

The failures of the previous campaigns I've been through have tempered me to Valyrian steel )) so AAR wasn't as hard as it was a few months ago, but I totally understand other players.   15. After 8 hours of failure, I stopped trying to complete the drone mission. Perhaps the ED broke something, but the drones at the second point are practically invulnerable, they are practically not detected by the radar and are extremely rarely captured by the IR aim-9. Super weapon! They just do their job and show the complete uselessness of the F-18 carrier-based aircraft. PS Judging by the radio communications, the pilots are no more than 10-15 years old )) which also spoils the impression. Still, you expect less emotional content from a realistic simulator.
  16. Drones are practically not displayed on the radar, 1-3 seconds maximum, I focus on AWACS data, AIM-7 are useless. Visually, the drones are almost invisible due to the image quality of the virtual mode, as a result, with the help of tricks, I manage to shoot down 2-3 drones at the 3rd point and the mission failed, the platform was destroyed.   17. Too arcade. From such a simulator you expect a "boring" reality. Everywhere constant battles on axes (dogfight), opponents appearing out of nowhere, tankers without cover in the war zone, target designation from the First World War (somewhere in the north). Disappointed in the end in all 3 campaigns, to be honest.
  18. It took me several weeks to figure out why the gray screen appears intermittently during gameplay. I changed the bases, changed the angles, changed the location, tried everything, but the problem remained. It turned out that backlight diodes have a strong effect on base stations! I turned off the backlighting of the buttons on the controller Virpil (close to the helmet) and the gray screen almost disappeared! Any diodes (including energy-saving lamps) give strong interference to base stations. Perhaps this information will save someone time and effort.

I tried to go through this section three times (with refueling) and always on the way to the platforms managed to shoot down only one helicopter, the second disappeared. And so I accidentally noticed that the 2nd helicopter landed on the platform and destroyed it with a cannon, after which the mission was successful. My radar is not very good yet.   20. There is a problem with 1st wave helicopters. Perhaps this is the last patch from the ED. Unless you hit both of them on your way to the oil rigs, one of them will land on the oil platform and can only be detected visually on a night vision device, if you're lucky. They are still not displayed on radars even at the current speed of 125 knots (looked in the mission editor).
  21. I confirm everything! Virpil is the best product in the consumer market, it's true(in my opinion). TM Warthog is a product of inadequate price and disgusting quality. Sticky buttons, sticky axles (hard to move) and all at such a high price! I was very disappointed! It seemed to me that A2A was completely impossible to carry out, and my landings on the aircraft carrier were terrible. It was enough to replace the Warthog “product” with Virpil, and now the A2A with turbulence and any refueling angles is quite a feasible task. Now I look at the Warthog with bitterness and I don't even know how to sell it now, it will be a shame in front of the buyer, maybe half the price.

  24. I tried it again today. Here are screenshots. This is an attempt to locate a tanker. This is the ABE takan. Everything is fine here. The campaign is good, atmospheric, I like everything !!! Maybe I'm just doing something wrong with this A2A? P.S As a result, I accidentally saw the tanker visually through my night vision device. However, all my approaches to the left and right baskets ended in nothing. The baskets just didn't connect. I have done many approaches to both the left basket and the right. The right one immediately gives the command "breakaway". The left one just won't connect. Okay, well )) I'll do it another time. I still need to deal with the phantoms in Mission 6 !!
  25. After the destruction of two mine boats, it is proposed to refuel. I contact the tanker with F10, select TCN - ON and enter 10x in AA mode. There is no TCN symbol on the HSI screen, the tanker letter TKR is displayed in the upper left corner HSI, but the time and distance to it are zero. Tried it several times.
