LOMAC doesnt need a DC. It can do perfectly well without it. What it needs is a stronger mission editor. I want to be able to see the model of the object I place, not just an icon. And to be able to pan around to see how its placed. I would like a copy/paste and save function for creating units. And triggers also would be great. For example, having a group of units appear once a ship has reached a port...... etc.... These and more, would give LOMAC much better missions. Right now, it is such a chore to create missions worth flying, that most dont. -

I have no look down issue either. Have you checked the tracking screen, maybe one of the reflectors is dropping out of view?

I am still thinking about what this is. It definately seems to be for lasers, as each of those holes is a retro--reflector. It allows a laser beam that hits it, the be reflected back at a given angle regardless of incoming angle. I seem to think this is for combat simulations, as why would you want to reflect the beam for navigation, or even just detection.

Even the latest Intel Core 2's drop to the 20' over cities. What we need is an single core emulation program, that would make the game only think there is 1 core, yet distribute the load across all cores. Sure there would be some lose, but still a total gain in the end. I have heard a very vague rumor about AMD having a hardware solution for this. I have read a paper from Sun Microsystems on their solution, they call it CMT (Chip Multi-Threading), but we dont use them :( I think some games like Lock On when developed, expected processors to continue to scale up in speeds, and then this just didnt happen, and the chip makers went to multiple cores instead.

Flares and taking screen shots as far as I know, dont cause server lag. They cause FPS drops on the computer viewing it. And you still get hit by the others missiles. Go ahead and test it, shouldnt be too hard.

Yes use the throttle. There is no need to worry about engine RPM as the Ka-50 automatically handles this, in RL also.

I believe...... When you have a target selected, and you fire Maverick, currently the targeting pipper will reset to center, so you have to slew back over to the area. I think quickdraw should keep the pipper on the target so you can slew over to another target close by.

IBTL :) And for the Su-25T, you have to turn the avionics on first, let the HSI align, and then start the engines. At least in LOMAC. -
You mean Slammin's comment? ^^ He is simply saying if everyone was told which beta build we were on, and say it took 1 week to go from b22 to b23, then people would expect in another week to see b24 out, when it doesnt really work that way.

I find it funny he says it took him a long time to make it, 6-7 days!!! Heck, thats whipping it out LOL! Would take me like 6-7 months, if I was lucky. Very good video, needs to be made a commercial. Sure is better than the FS-X one. -

I wont be buying it either. I have no issues wearing a cap, nor the current clip. The hat I used is from a Blue Angels air show anyways... how could I fly without it... I got the lead to sign it :) Was gonna have the rest sign, but the parents were getting mad at me for pushing their dear children out of the way. J/K, I didnt get the rest because I wanted all the kids to get in and talk with the pilots, maybe they will see a flightsim like LockOn and pester mommy to buy it hehe. Heck thats how I got started. Saw one local air show.. and it was over. -
Is it possible to fly faster than a bullet?

In WW1 didnt they have to change the machine gun because the planes were flying into the bullets? Or was it WW2? I could have sworn I read that somewhere.
