That is a text-book example of evolution. Organisms work to capitalize on their environment, for their benefit, sometimes even by genetic changes. Just because we happen to be the most evolved organism, and have the ability to more easily control our environment by technology, doesnt mean its not evolution. You list all those species that have been lost, try that with the new ones we have discovered. There's many more of those.

Most 15 drivers use TWS a lot. I wonder if the 120 would have more success shot from RWS? I must suck at dodging though. I find I usually get more kills in the MiG, but I die more often also. I have never been lucky enough to evade an ARH with chaff, I usually only live if I decide to turn tail.

The Su25/25t and A10 arent really competition to eachother. For A2A you can have real human competition. A2G, well since we only can fly, that leaves the G to AI.

I dont get the opposition arguement. LB was only the Apache, and it rocked in its day. LB2 added the blackhawk and Kiowa, but still only US. I never played the others. You may wish for there to be a US heli, but its too much time and investment. It is better to get the BS out, a few patches to make it solid, and then move on to code that UBI has no rights to. Plus from what I have "assumed" from what ED has said on the forums, the current code has some limits they wish to be done with. And believe me, you dont realize how small something is when its moving so fast like a jet. When its a heli, down low barely crawling along....... The Air threat will not be as bas as some percieve, especially if there is a jet on your side in the air.

BS is going to bring in a lot more people. All the EECH/LB2/whatever else there is, simmers. Not only will it be the best Jet sim, but it will also be the best helo sim.

I have seen an F15 version. Now that would be cool to dogfight the 2.

I am not so sure that this is the problem. Most people have the same problem in online server, and most online servers dont have external views.

Too much hype. And it has nothing to do with the flightsim community really, LOMAC uses SF but what other flight sim does? And the reason Ubi is being sued, is because they are the publisher. Most likely they have a big, if not sole, opinion on what copyright protection scheme to follow. If anything comes of this, it will be no more SF. But is that really the best for the software companies? They spend the money on SF, because it is cheaper to do so, than not and let piracy reign. And when you think about it, what is the issues that are with SF? For most users, its almost seemless. Very few have problems, and usually the reinstall of drivers fixes it. Really to much hype about this, I am sure it will come to nothing.

The X45 jumping - If you are mechanical at all, take it apart and clean the potentiometer for the X axis. Maybe you need to build a faraday cage around your house, everything seems to be frying lol :)

I think SF coming out and saying they will give $$$ to anyone who can prove it damaged their system, is a good enough defense. I dont think anyone ever claimed it... wonder why?

What is OVC? And yeah, I just removed the boot. I did it after we got 1.2 beta, it was kinda difficult to fly and control, I removed the boot, and I am very pleased. Larger range of motion, and less tension as you move the stick from center. I highly recommend it, especially since its just a few screws.

I have a 7900GTX from a 7800GT, and I really didnt have that much of an increase in performance. What I did gain though, was that the game runs the same FPS regardless of the graphic settings (besides vis). 1600x1200 16xAF 8xAA..... no problem.

It almost sounds like the power management problem. Let us know how it is when you have turned it off.

Your processor is about 300MHz faster, and you have better memory. I must say though, I am plenty happy with this card. 1600x1200 AA x8, AFx16, set to best image quality. And I still get 30fps on the tarmac and over cities, and well into the 50's in the air. Odd thing is, I can turn the AA and AF down, turn the resolution down, still the same FPS.

Came in today YEAH!. Now I didnt expect all that great of gains, considering I had a 7800GT. But 3d06 hints otherwise. Here are some pics of the package, and install: I had been messing with some overclocking before the card came. Got my x2 4400+ to 230MHzx11, Vcore @ 1.425 the HT @ x4. Mem is still DDR400. I have the PCI express bus overclocked to 120MHz. Using coolbits the BFG 7800GT auto-detects best overclock @ 469/1140. I just swapped the graphics cards, and drivers installed no problem. I used the 84.21 for both cards. Ran the coolbits again, and the XFX 7900GTX clock to 682/1720. Here are the 3d06 results. Results in Lock on are impressive so far. About 40FPS on ground, some places depending on view it gets to 20's. Not a whole lot of testing yet. 1600x1200 res. High textures, everything up but vis on med.

Very good case. Though I was only National Guard anti-armor, and we didnt drill often, I know regular duty probably studies VID more often. There are key differences that should be looked for in the VID. I would think in this case, the cockpit is the key identifying feature. Not my place to judge tho.

It still has some traits to call its own. The sensors on the front definately have larger limits than the Ka50, the cannon also.

Doesnt XP use NTFS also? My drives are partitioned NTFS.
