  1. Yes, pretty much AFAIK. Inside Winwing's 'Sim App', there is an option to set some buttons to either 'axis' or set as a simple 'button'. Although you would think setting up the Mav 'Weapon' page in an axis mode would be ideal, the simple 'button' mode' provided the best slewing for me by far.
  2. As many others have already stated... Kudos to you for creating this package of quick scenarios. Thus far I've done only a handful but have found them all to be useful and very enjoyable. It's great to jump into the pit to complete the missions without spending the time to set up, takeoff, taxi, etc. If anyone is looking for training and/or fun, this download is very worthwhile. As an example... the landing mission 'Dashing thru the Snow' mission... a little challenging, yet concise and fun at the same time. In addition, much appreciate you taking the time to describe detailed mission parameters in the mission briefing. Many of the missions I've downloaded fail to include any detail in that regard.
  3. I find it difficult to discern my flight's waypoints in the ME. Usually, many other flight's waypoints are overlayed on top of each other, making it hard to see the 'yellow' highlighted waypoints as you advance them. Also, (like Falcon 4.0) it would be nice to show the distance between each waypoint. Can we have a filter in the ME to show only the selected unit's waypoints?
  4. I oftentimes have difficulty seeing/following waypoints in the Mission Editor. With so many numerous flight waypoints laid on top of each other, it makes it difficult to follow a specific unit's waypoints, obscuring the 'yellow' highlighted waypoint selected. Is there a way to filter a single flight to show only those waypoints? Also... it would be a nice feature (as the old Falcon 4.0 did) to show distances between waypoints. Yes, the ruler can be used, but why make us work that hard?!!
  5. Wondering if there is an easy way to transfer an existing installation to a new computer. I Googled but didn't find much, but there has to be a way to move the needed files avoiding an entire new setup. Many thanks for any suggestions!
  6. Thanks 'Razzo' and 'Chain' for the reply. If you can't duplicate, I'll keep digging. That said.. it seems to happen when inbound on a target, then shortly after entering the map, hear an audio warning alerting me. Upon escaping F10 (Map) menu find myself at slow speed and sometimes spiraling out of control and in need of recovery. Usually I can recover in time, but.... Per your suggestion did look for 'double bindings' but found none, so I'm at a loss and will try to narrow it down further and reply with what I find. @ Chain.... This wasn't a gear down or changing of switching situation you mention.
  7. Searched this issue with no success but have noticed the autopilot disengages if/when viewing the map (F10). Is it just me, and/or, should this be happening?
  8. Thanks Bunny... what I thought, just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something.
  9. Replied to this issue in some older threads, but wanted to share my fix to the AGM 65 slewing sensitivity on the Weapon Page. I'm using a WinWing Orion and initially assigned the RDR cursor to an axis. No matter how the axis curve was set, it was extremely difficult to slew/lock onto the target in the weapon page. I have since removed the axis and set the RDR cursor in 'button mode'. It now slews just as smoothly as the TGP does. Who would have thought simpler would be better, so hats off to DCS for that. Just wish the remedy was easier to find.
  10. Tried doing a search on this but found nothing. Can Red Flag Missions be edited and/or saved? The 'save' or 'save as' is greyed out.
  11. Well... a year later and the problem still exists. I echo MartinVoy's reply... Slewing on the weapon page is difficult, whereas all the other pages it works perfectly. Is anyone from DCS looking into this?
  12. Well I can confirm having the same issue. My microstick axis (WinWing Orion) has been adjusted and works VERY smooth in all modes except the Mav Weapon page. It's frustrating to try moving a small amount to get lock. Sensitivity on the wep page needs some work. Since this thread is so old, I'm going to start a new thread.
  13. I have the same stick, and configured the same slider (below the flap switch). It works great for me in the F16, so check your configuration in 'SimApp Pro' and or game configuration settings.
  14. Moonshine... Thanks for the reply, that explains that, sorry for the ignorance. Learn something new each day!
  15. Sorry if I've missed something, but just tried jettisoning only a centerline fuel tank during a mission. Firstly, thought it was a mis-selection of stores to jettison, so I re-flew the mission with the same result. The loadout had one centerline tank with GBU 24's on stations 4 and 6. When entering the jettison page, I selected only the centerline tank, but when hitting the jettison button in pit, it also jettisoned the GBU 24's. Is that normal and/or proper? Thanks in advance!
