  1. I see it Hog Driver. That is some beautiful work; I am going to have to do a search and find more about his art. Thanks Bucic. and especially for the help in getting my bird up in the air
  2. Worked fine for me, Greb. Once the B-52's laid down there bombs it was a piece of cake. Not Really! I took some damage and put down safely at the field which is just a couple of miles from where all the action is. I have a lot of fun watching the others in action. Looking forward to your new one. Good stuff as usual.
  3. You should all be flying, darnit. Then i could be the first to start the download. Now get back in the sky.
  4. Fishman Has Arrived After some struggles, thanks to Bucic (+1) for providing the link, I was able to get my new plane added and "flyable". The excellent job of skinning was done by member hog_driver111th, (+1) (One shot McPeek) . Thanks sir for a quality job. I love fishing so it was decided to put a trout on the plane and the tail markings are a great addition. The RM is for my own squadron since I haven't joined one "yet". The designation of numbers have their own special meaning. My crew chief is none other than my father. I flew with him when I was just a boy and though he has been gone for almost 25 years, he can now fly with me. Thanks again guys
  5. Tried that and it did not work.. Even had the fellow member who made the skin, send me his complete file that we are talking about. That did not work as I only ended up with a partially skinned plane and planes from other squadrons were totally unskinned or unpainted. I'll check out the links and do appreciate it. Thanks
  6. Anyone have an idea about this? Being i already posted the screenshot (page 7 in my orginal post) it would not allow me to do it again. Please check my other post for that picture. Thanks
  7. I was having problems with the same type of downloads using Internet Explore, when someone suggested using Mozilla Firefox. Works fine this way and automatically makes it a .miz
  8. Hey, Greb. Stay safe and glad you are able to keep up with doing missions which is something you enjoy. When at home, we know you'll be up in the sky. THanks for providing some real exciting missions.
  9. Will be giving it a look after the Super Bowl... Thanks for the invite.
  10. Lonewolf, I'll make a suggestion that might help you out. I love campaigns, but Ii haven't touched one since Beta 2. There are some fantastic user made missions out there that are worth a look. They are very well done.
  11. Hope no one minds this question. I've had a wonderful skin made for me by another member. Will post a screen or two of the jet soon, but I cannot get it to be accedpted into the area where a new skin would go. I've spent hours trying and I beleive the problem is on my end. I am using winrar to unzip the folder or file but the main thing is the message (s) i get when trying to get it added to the proper place. Any ideas? A screenshot is attached. I do have it set up so I should have admin rights or whatever it is called. Thank you for taking a look.
  12. check out the missions here: http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/ and also check out user made missions. I know there are some around
  13. Thanks for the tutorial. Will keep it aside and one day give it a try. +1
  14. Skinning for most is a b--ch. I'd gladly pay someone a decent couple of hours wages for a skinning. I never want to go thru that again from another "unnamed" sim. But will look glady await the tutorial
  15. Nice video (s) Good to see a campaign- have only been doing user made and default missions so far.
  16. I'll be giving in another try when you have the new update available. Nice work.
  17. I've tried this a few times and on the 3rd attempt was succesful in completing the startup. Followed the taxi and was disqualified, have no idea what I had done wrong. Was I too fast? Was I out of alignment? Not sure how to proceed, fun while it lasted
  18. Thanks for this super event, Sabre. Will check it out soon.
  19. Loved the troops running outside my plane while performing start up in the "Blood For Oil" mission. Now off to try your latest.
  20. Thanks fellows. Will be looking for that area in the mission goals.
  21. Flew the SP Southbound lite version today and SP Flanked. Enjoyed both of the very much. I did get your message about the scores in the mission editor- thanks, no need to apologize- you've been providing us with a lot of air time. Will be watching for your next "barn burner" . Can't even remember where the hell I heard that expression but its used by friends. It's a good thing by the way
  22. I don't understand why when some missions are flow, there is a score that is received and other times, even when taking out mulitiple targets, there is no score. I need to check some more but it seems when using a user made mission, I have not received a score, yet when using default or my own there are scores?? Curious
  23. CC Cleaner for 2 years
  24. The roof didn't fall in but just found out a while ago that me and grandma are going to be taking care of a little one. I doubt I can sneak away; but the little ones are equally if not more fun than the A-10. Only difference is I can stand to fly indefinitely, but after a half day with the kids; I lose a little patience. I just want to say thanks once again, and you will be seeing me.
  25. What a great invitation. I'll be there unless the roof falls in. I have TS 3 and used TS2 for years and so unless I can't connect for some reason, this is appreciated. Thanks. Dane ONE question though, only have flown online in FSX. When I join up, is there a special mission or something I need? Or will it be free flight or is it just click the "join" button and its done? I know what you mentioned about your TS and how to find it...is there a password to be found or needed? Thanks
