Great screenshots Blaze and a sweet connection in the vide. Is there anyone out there planning on making a mission for refueling that they would share?

When I fly, I am known as Fishman, or Gold Wing, Duck, etc because of my love for those outdoor activities of fishing, hunting, and riding my Wing. Thank you I really don't understand this I am sorry to say. With other user missions and missions available, I start out in the A-10 whether it is on the ramp, or in the air. So I don't understand what you mean by selecting Player for A-10. Do I have to make this mission myself? Someday I may want to try that but not having any Lock On and about 2 hours of DCS Black Shark, I am confused. Thank you in advance to anyone. I left my computer for about 90 minutes, came back and after trying a 2nd download to the http:3 site, it had quit downloading at 223,948KB. Anybody have an idea of what could be wrong? This is a 2nd failure at an attempt to download. I haven't used a torrent yet. Guess Ii should!

Patch stopped downloading after 1.? mb and said was complete. Of course it was not but showed. Corrupted file, have no idea why, but downloading again. NOW rather than a 5+ hour download, it is 11!. Oh well, we will all have it within 36 -48 hours. We've waited this long, we can wait longer.

Thanks, downloading now. Looks like it will take about 4 1/2 hours for me. Edit. Now it is over 5 hours! As more join its going to get nasty

What I have been doing is recording the text that I see onto my mini tape recorder. Then I can go to the range, turn on record and pause either the sim or the recorder....it works great as long as I keep quite a few seconds recording between instructions so that I am not pausing often.

Doing another download. The first time I tried to open the two images, it said it was a corrupted or damage file.?

First Mission Not in "Invulnerable" In order to get more accustomed to the aircraft, weapons and etc, I had always been in the "invulnerable" mode in order to stay in the air. Today in my first mission where I could get my arse shot down, that is exactly what happened. I found a field in which to land and survived. Here are the screen shots

Lots of great suggestions and comments fellows. I appreciate it. I'll keep thinking and saving. Perhpas I'll hook up my Saitek throttle quadrant and use that for the throttle, but that doesn't seem very realistic to me. I am using some of those switches now for my gear, and air brakes. It's going to be a long time before the Warthog Hotas will come down by 25% or more in price. I'm not a patient man so and not getting younger, so will have to make a move long before that. Fellows, I've had a minimal joystick for years and cannot afford the new Warthog setup coming out. I know I'll get a mixture of responses here, but I am looking to purchase either the Saitek X-52 or the Thrustmaster. I do see that the Saitek is considerably cheaper and tend to go with that. I have the Saitek flight yoke and throttle quadrant so I am happy with their product. Seems I can get a new X-52 for about $85.00 (USD) or spend just about $200 for the other? YOur thoughts? Thanks for the invite. Having enough problems digesting the A-10 Beta and my mind just can't handle FC2. I had happened to purchase and receive it literally about 2 days before the A-10 Beta came out, so only had a couple of hours with it. I was looking to get back into combat sims (still do a WW1 some of the time) but as mentioned, I never did MP in a combat sim. I do have TS from my FSX days and perhaps I will come take a listen and introduce myself if it isn't a problem. I would imagine once the bugs are gone from the A-10 beta, the 104th will be getting involved some also? Thank you again.

This is a question I recently had also. Not necessarily multiplayer but single player. I wanted a nice night time flight to take pics and put a movie together but the messages just keep coming up of the ai aircraft and ground units. One member suggested turning off the radio. Is there any other alternative? As always, Thank you.
