I had tried that but perhaps it was my server, or the weather (?) I do appreciate you answering my post. And by the way, I did take it where you took over as moderator for one of the groups that had a communications problem. BRAVO

I've been waiting for this event for a couple of months. Kept up to date; checked schedules. Today arrives. I have a very decent internet connection. Cable- but to watch this, when you might view in live for 3 seconds and then stutters and stops for 30 or more seconds is unacceptable. Guess I will have to wait until they are posted on YOu tube. Thing is, I've been at this for about 3 hours and there have been no improvements when it (the livestream or whatever it is called) was on the USA web site. Wish I could have had a better experience

There is one around someplace, did you do a search on You Tube? That is the 2nd place I look (after the user mission area). A search under DCS A-10 will get you most of what you might find.

You can do some aerial refueling in Operation Dane. Check out the mission area and you'll find it. It was made during the beta 2, but works great in the new version. Not only will it be a good training tool - you can contact the tanker and request some juice

I believe on two of my taxi attpempts, I was rolling (never came to a complete stop) and when the flare fired I continued and received the "fail" On the other, I had come to a stop about ??20 meters behind him and when the flare was fired and he started moving, I did the same. I immediately received the "fail" . I am not the greatest when it comes to airplane handling and I attribute much of it to my very used and recently purchased X52. Might be easier with a different set up. Still wish to say thanks

I downloaded it and unzipped but it is not a .miz file for me so don't know what to do?? I tried it a couple of times. Any ideas? Will it work even though not a .miz file? THank you

I flew this 3 times and failed the taxi each time. But the rest of it was enjoyable but way too difficult maybe to start. To fly within 30' and i forget the speed now, is difficult. I received 25% two of the times and my first time after I failed the taxi, I did not continue. I really don't have an idea as to how to "pass" the taxi as to what is required. But thanks

Only know that the first time I tried anything in Beta 3, it took 8 minutes to load. Many others experienced the same, so if it is/was your first time, you will need to give it plenty of time to load

Is there any way this can be played with one human player? I don't do MP, and won't be giving it a try until all bugs are worked out. But the NOE flying intrigues me.

It might be okay for some, but why in the world would you want to listen to music instead of the sound of the engine? explosions? and other sounds?

I've flown this one 2 or 3 times in Beta 3 and have had no problems, just as when it was made during Beta 2 time period

Looks like a great competitive and fun mission. so late here right now otherwise I would try it. Wwill give it a go tomorrow though. I was a part of a FSX bush pilot group and we would offer what we called "challenges" once a month. It was great fun. Not really a contest, but as in this one in which you attempted to follow certain parameters and the average of the flights that were submitted was the one who chose the next "challenge" Everyone was always a winner because it was a lot of fun! Don't feel bad. I have made 11 attempts and haven't connected. It is either me or my joystick, or both. But probably mostly me. :joystick:Haven't tried it in our latest download so maybe next time will be okay

Searches don't always work. I came up with Rise of Flight posts and other things I have no idea of what was being discussed. Being new to any of the Lock ON/ED series, when you go into the Game Play section, you can check on Game flight mode and Game Avionics mode. I have kept these unchecked, as I want to fly as full realism as possible. But I would like to know what this is. Perhaps it can be of help to me. So, like when I practicing a new weapon release, I set it to full weapons or whatever it is called so I can just keep dropping. For those of us that are totally new to the series (mind you many of you have been with Lock On for many years) we new people do need and appreciate your assistance. It is almost getting so one is hesitant to ask a question. Thank you

Revelation said "Did you have any issue with the comms? I had one individual state that the comms weren't working, yet they work for me. I'm trying to figure out if it's an easy/realistic comms thing or a Beta3 thing. It works for me everytime, so I'm not sure what's going on." My communications did not work and have not tried a 2nd time. But with regard to that I have some searching and studying to do. I had clicked on the easy communications "cheat" in the options menu, but I find, I can never do a start up on the ground. I keep asking for it, but nothing happens. I've waited a couple of minutes, maybe it takes longer for the ground crew to get to my airplane?? Heck, this sim is so serious, you can't take anything for granted

I gave this mission a try, had everything going and started to taxi. After I left my parking area, I took the left taxiway toward the runway and sank into the cement as has been mentioned in other parts of forum. WIll give it another try--maybe go to the other end of runway? Thanks anyhow

Great flying. Never have watched VFAT but plan on checking in this year. I do have to go to their web site and see how that goes again as far as accessing.
