Что касается VD, вы не хотите, чтобы он запускался в среде выполнения Oculus. Сейчас это устарело. VDXR будет работать более эффективно и не требует дополнительных команд для правильного запуска сборки MT. Позже я попробую это еще раз и сделаю короткое видео для демонстрации.

Ах, тогда это хорошие новости. Для ВД не нужны никакие дополнения к ярлыку для запуска сборки МТ. В качестве среды выполнения вам следует выбрать VDXR, а DCS должна запуститься в VDXR (вообще без SteamVR), просто запустив обычный ярлык. Я попробую ST exe еще раз позже, но все должно быть хорошо. Хотя я не использую новую программу запуска DCS, ее лучше оставить отключенной из соображений производительности.

У меня была та же проблема, но добавление --Force_openXR исправило ее. На VD я запускаю его на VDXR, возможно, поэтому. Я бы посоветовал пока использовать VD, хорошо иметь альтернативу на случай, если что-то пойдет не так.

Это не то, что вы можете изменить в файлах .lua, но есть обходной путь/исправление, которое вы можете использовать сейчас. Slotting on ECW practically impossible (especially with VR) on ECW

Previously there were very significant stutters when players joined/disconnected/reslotted while the slot selection was open on busy servers like ECW. Might be related, might not. But whenever the user list refreshed due to a dc/connection etc (you could see it flash as it refreshed the users/spectators), it would be a hell of a spike. Not entirely dissimilar to the server selection screen stuttering as it filtered in new servers. -

На данный момент есть обходной путь. Ошибка не возникает в сборке ST для Quest Pro. Это может не работать для гарнитур Pimax. По словам разработчика Quad View, ранее примененное им исправление/обходной путь больше не применяется из-за изменения имени с DCS World на DCS в XRInstanceCreateInfo.

It was ECW so no mission file to share i'm afraid. I might try replicating it later by plonking down similar ground groups (Bofors, M60's and the white barracks building all in a tight grouping), if I have any luck I will let you know. -

Just checked, unfortunately the track CTD's. Can still upload it if something useful can be gleaned from it. Will keep an eye out for more ground group problems and see if any track replays are clean. -

Based on the internal report it's something to do with terrain rather than units yes? I only ask because I've noticed quite a few of these bugged ground groups seem to have Bofors in them. Sometimes killing them appears to clear the LOS problem for other units surrounding them. Hasn't happened enough times to say for certain, but I do remember patch notes previously noting geometry fixes for certain ground unit models. Started taking this vid after trying to lock a ground group, getting nothing then having the bofors open up on me. Might be happenstance, but once I manage to get it killed it unblocks the M60's around it as well. About the third or fourth time it's happened with Bofors, though it could just be due to different angle of approach etc: -

Worth mentioning that I assume the last two clips were not from ECW? Given the heading info on the petro sight. Could not be related to the outpost if so, at least if contention has a different ground group setup (idk if this is the case or not). -

It's one of the barracks models. It's in every ECW group so it could be obscuring targets. iirc one of the times I couldn't get targets on a group, the barracks appeared as a taget but no others did, so it's definitely likely/possibly the prob. -

I have also seen this lately, wasn't happening a few months ago afaik. Can't supply tracks as it's been happening in MP. He will flat refuse to see them even when you get close enough that they start firing. Whenever I come across targets like that, I just skip them and move on to others for now. This is on ECW, so the targets tend to be in small groups. Sometimes he might eventually see 1 of them but not the others surrounding the area. So he definitely thinks something is obstructing his vision in some way. I did consider whether the target smoke markers that recon groups on ECW deploy might be conflicting/blocking in some way (even after they expire) but I haven't tested that. This is not correct. I always have R60's loaded when available, and ordering petro to look has always worked fine. This way you can set petro to free fire and have both available as necessary. -
I thought the SP helos had their own extra level of problems re: the DM? By all accounts they are far, far tankier than in MP. I and many others assumed this was a design choice by ED, in order to prevent AI helos going down too often/fast in SP campaigns to ground AI. Always thought the issue was seperate from any potential MP DM issues. If that isn't the case I will start sending assembling some SP helo DM tracks.

The tails are particularly egregious, I have always wondered how much of it might be due to lag or hit reg problems rather than a DM problem. But afaik hit reg is client side so it shouldn't matter? The Hind can absorb some big hits, but it can also go down very quick even to small arms if it hits the right spot. Ontop of the tail, I'm not sure if the nose/chin/canopy should be absorbing hydra impacts quite as well as it can. But consistently testing the actual DM as opposed to the AI DM is hard to do. Tail impacts with little effect vs a player controlled Hind occur in both these clips as an example: I have had one or two instances of hitting the tails of jets (with rockets) and not seeing much effect either, but it's happened too rarely to say if there's a problem there too.

Yes, it was fairly common practice in the Huey. No idea about the Hip though.

This is something that is coming with the Kiowa, and is now available on the Loach mod as of it's 1.2 update a day or two ago. It's a nice alternative to using the gunsight imo, and I would love to see it as an option in both the Huey and Hip (as well as being able to hide the hip sight).

Частота опроса мыши 1000 Гц или выше приводит к проблемам с производительностью на странице управления Phantom. Я не знаю, влияет ли это на производительность в других местах. Это может быть специфично для Windows 11. Уменьшение частоты опроса до 500 Гц исправляет проблему. Это происходит даже тогда, когда я получаю доступ к элементам управления Фантомом из другого модуля или главного меню.

Unfortunately the reason you can only delay it rather than prevent it is you're pushing VR on 8 gigs of vram. Because DCS is so vram heavy, you can only delay it from happening not prevent it. Though it you fly low vram modules it might prevent it entirely. The Apache is perhaps the most vram heavy of all the modules however. The only things that will realistically reduce it from happening so often is 1: Reduce texture details to medium/low, 2: Reduce resolution, 3: Use texture optimisation mods (breaks IC), 4: Use virtual desktop instead of oculus link, or use oculus killer to at least reduce links vram overhead, 5: Use the VR hanger mod, 6: Set F10 to centre on top of the aircraft, moving the F10 map around will increase vram usage so having it locked can help. There might also be one further tweak you can try, I never tested it's affect on vram. It was primarily a way to reduce CPU usage when the ST build was the only option, but as it reduces the unit draw distance it might help in busier missions with lots of units: That being said, any GPU with 24 gigs of vram won't experience this problem simply because it won't overflow. 16 gigs will make do for most missions, but particularly heavy ones will overflow past 16 occaisionally.

The Apache and Tomcat are both very vram heavy vs other modules. And Marianas also performs the worst of all the maps. So you're in a worst case scenario there. The F10 hanger mod is a godsend and they need to remove that hanger background as an option in the settings, not have it on as the default. It creates too many problems. ED can't fix the problem entirely, as you're also bumping into the meta specific vram overflow problem there. iirc you're on a 3070 yeah? You would need to switch from link to VD to sidestep most of the problems you're experiencing, as overflowing vram on quest link can be catastrophic. And flipping to F10 can and will trigger vram overflows due to the way DCS works, especially in VR on a GPU with less than 16 gigs of vram.
