What did I think of Kiowa? It needs to improve in some areas!
Braunn replied to ThorBrasil's topic in DCS: OH-58 Kiowa
I don't get why t f you guys are so triggered for. Honestly. Just scroll past and quit tagging people just because you are triggered by something. I will buy it when I feel like buying it. How about that.- 591 replies

I'm not tarnishing anything. Just stating I won't buy the right to borrow it in its current state. The Kiowa is still on my list. Thank you and others for your write ups.- 591 replies

Maybe we should just quit this silly game full of bugs, and find a better hobby where you DON'T have to pay real money for merely loaning the right to use a virtual item to play make believe in. It is possible.
-
Haha I have exact same issues as OP mentioned. It's getting buggier by the minute. RIP La Baguette.
-
Yeah time is never a good ally in cases like this. And us customers don't really know how long it was before the turd hit that famous spinning fan, but I assume it was a minute or two. Hence why I posted earlier it's better to solve it quick and move on before it hits all kinds of legal crap.
-
With a dispute like this it's usually better to just close shop for the studio/company, cut the losses and do something else/start over. I have never seen a dispute like this end well for both parties.
-
Very true that statement. The M2k is getting buggier and buggier. RIP my beloved Baguette.

No Galinette literally left Razbam and stopped all work for ED and the modules Razbam created for the game. He works for Metrea Simulations now. Classified stuff. Metrea is very well capable of "making a living" when you work for them. Which is a damn shame because I just fell in love with the Mirage 2000. And it's buggy af.
-
I'm saying Galinette. Key figures leave to work for someone else. That's always the beginning of the end with companies.
-
Is Galinette posting JHMCS 3D models? For who and where?
-
There's no returning Razbam here. More than one programmer have left Razbam to work for other studios. The hush hush about all this is the confirmation. ED wants to drag it out and sell as many modules as they can. But they know Razbam has left the building for good.

What's disappointing is when people assume other people don't know what they're talking about. Even bigger disappointment are all the excuses people make for a cluster F to keep on rolling. Excuses excuses excuses. "Not that simple." Well yeah it is. Bet you didn't know a hand shake or a verbal contract is still legally binding, as long as a witness is there to watch the agreement take place and a written follow up describing the terms is made. But nooooo, we can't have that. Not so siiiimpleeeeeeee. Kids.
-
What's really disappointing is that adult people working for two companies can't work this out. It's not like it's a big deal. Or at least started out as a big deal, now it is. Kinda what I tell my kids. "Solve it before it becomes a big deal."

I stil rock the Warthog but this got me interested because of the adjustable spring tensioners. I like the stick hard for jets but in the Huey it gets tiring. Imagine just turning down the tension. Would be nice.
-
And let me tell ya, flying helicopters cannot be boring. Don't know about the CH47 but our beloved Huey (that ED seems to have completely forgotten about) is a handful at times and is harder to control than any AAR in a fixed wing. There. I said it.

Got any recommendations for books? As others have stated though, I am also getting tired/sour of the pre purchase stuff. Did it once with the F-15E and it still doesn't have a datalink among other things. Never again. Well I did it with SA map too but that's like 10 minutes of flying it and it grew old. Just drop a well enough functioning module/map, with a short enough roadmap, and people will buy.

Nothing applies to this discussion. It's not even a real discussion. 100% speculation through and through.

In my case it's not a negative assumption, rather a positive one because I can have my life back if all flight sims died. I have no self control.

F-4E Phantom II Development Update and Release Delay Announcement
Braunn replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
All I'm saying is that subscription fees are imminent if you guys keep forking out cash for something they aren't even obligated to release. Or refund. Read and understand the EULA when you make a purchase. But i digress. Goooo F-4! -
F-4E Phantom II Development Update and Release Delay Announcement
Braunn replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
But this is a game. Not a necessary software program to run a business or whatever. That said, the terms have gotten way way more extensive and one sided over the past 15-20 years. You know this. I've read a few so yes, the companies writing said terms are both entitled and down right rude. So, ENTITLED goes both ways. The problem is that this bad software culture is leaking to almost every type of purchase there is. You own way less of even your physical objects now versus only 20 years ago. And here we have people defending it. Like it's perfectly normal. Well yes, if you lower the standards of what you expect to pay for it is. To be clear, I'm not complaining. I haven't paid a dime on any pre purchase here at all. Just baffled how people keep defending that business model for computer in-game objects. Keep it up and you'll be paying a subscription fee every month to play on top of the module prices like iRacing does. -

Exactly. Thats the difference in the world now. People would never do that not too long ago. -

As far as companies charging full payment way before delivery goes I agree. Very entitled. -

Who cares. It's a cartoon plane a lot of people already paid for. No worries.
