  1. You dont need the wings anyway. Just use rudder for roll.
  2. Didnt know Thunderbirds were basically a test bed for structural demands. They sure are using Block 52s as well. Anyhoo, it's great to see the ED team is on the ball and strive for realistic flight characteristics like many of us nerds are. I dont care about occationally losing dog fights to good pilots in those darn <profanity> box Hornets and Migs in the rate fight but at the same time reading and hearing so many comments from F-16 pilots saying how "invincible" they felt in the Viper is a little contradictory to the DCS experience so far. https://www.military.com/dodbuzz/2017/04/25/f-16-block-52-upgrades-set-to-take-thunderbirds-into-the-future I know however the C model is NOT the A model Viper and I believe a lot of the stories of dogfighting excellence comes from the A model, or earlier versions than the C Block 50, which had more aggressive avionics controlling the leading edge flaps etc.
  3. So far I have heard three F-16 pilots say it bleeds too fast still. C.W Lemoine, Max Afterburner and now Grey Ghost.
  4. How do you remove a context in OMM?
  5. Yeah thats what I'm advocating, at least give it a honest try, but also I'm saying that curves tend to be smoke and mirrors for many pilots. A totally linear input puts the micro in micro adjustments. What you input is what you get. Also, a throttle curve would be kinda misleading, at least for ME, when AAR with different configurations. A clean Viper coming home from BFM practice with no bags or any stations populated is very different, than refueling a top off in a fully loaded pre ingress bird. If I was struggling I would try without curves first and expect some practice to be done. Yeah I remember before summer when ED screwed up the pitch control with AR door open. Not only did they mess/turn up to 11 the pitch and sensitivity but they also added a deadzone to the stick config. It was very noticeable for somebody that flew no deadzone and no curves. lol
  6. Proof right here we're all different. Removing all curves made it a lot easier for me to do every aspect of flying the VIper. AAR is just easy now with some practice ofcourse. As a suggestion to whoever struggle with AAR in the VIper. Just remove all curves and deadzones and practice constant micro adjusting. Dont ever stop moving your arms and feet.
  7. It's not even available to select for me at the WW store but definitely considering it over the Real Sim R3. Based on price only.
  8. VR is the future. DCS is lagging behind yo. Plans for more VR support ED?
  9. SIze limit 5mb. Have you guys tested it at 340kts?
  10. The last patch didnt get rid of the pitching under the tanker. Is this normal IRL behaviour at 340kts or is the nose just too nervous with fuel door open?
  11. I gotta say you guys do a terrific job moving the Viper forward but the last patch was a big set back on the AAR FLCS sensitivity. The pitch oscillation takes a lot of fun out to the point air refueling is close to impossible at night. Daytime is just a nightmare. I can stay in position for days with fuel door closed. If many people have reported this already my apologies. Viper is
  12. The AB detent button is your best friend in the viper. No messing with the throttlem just push the button to activate the throttle to styop at full MIL power.
