@cfrag thats awesome gonna give that a go now (Gazelle) I will take a look also if i have time to revisit the spawn on demand (helo troops) and show some screens if not tonight then tomorrow, thanks man -
@Pantera93 Hi mate, im making one large complex mission at the moment for learning perposes using your stuff and DML its very cool using them together, but when i get time ill try get a track because i notice these AI crashes near the begining of missions i think mostly, i guess its a work around to just put Air start for now. I dont know why they crash but i saw even two sabres crashed near the runway when they were the only ones at the airfield. Sometimes DCS AI is so janky Fingers crossed for you being able to make Zones come online after certain conditions are met or after certain zone is conqured

Hi @cfrag I think i explained my first issue badly, i understand the menu of Airbourne Troops and its the one inside "other" menu that needs to be used, its the way to get them to spawn the troops using a spawn zone, it seems to me maybe its a LUA edit needed? As mentioned in the Doc : "Interfaces with other scripts, if you set this value to true, troops will only spawn on request via cfxSpawnZones.spawnWithSpawner()." I dont know how to setup that request About the Recon module it indeed works correctly as in only units assigned by a trigger zone can actually recon however the menu is available for all players assigned or not and that just makes it "appear" that they can. (See image its from a Ka-50 that is not assigned recon) - A side note is it possible to add these Gazelle L smoke rockets to Willie Pete? (see image) null Finally thanks for this awesome stuff me and my mate having a real blast it really opens up mission edititng -
I notice alot of taxi collisions with AI CAP flights :S

Hi just found this again, forgot it existed is it at all possible to remove the choice options and just have one in the menu and then spawn a random one instead of having the 3 options? Cheers -

Awesome stuff i got alot of modules working in one mission without issue, but now having a slight issue with helotroops and spawnzones not cooperating with me i cant seem to get the spawn group option up in the "Airborn Troops Menu" for some reason, fun stuff though edit : Interfaces with other scripts, if you set this value to true, troops will only spawn on request via cfxSpawnZones.spawnWithSpawner(). This seems to be what i dont fully understand if anyone knows what i need to do, I've rechecked the demo mission and i dont see anything different that im missing. Another question regarding ReconMode, it seems to work fine however is it correct that even airframes that are excluded from recon still see the option in f10 menu and indeed can select it and recieve the message "xxx reports bright eyes, commencing recon" -

Hey man yeah all working now ive been playing around with my mission all is cool, i have a couple questions though, 1) When using zone targets It shows MGRS, and LAT/LONG in degrees and decimal minutes, is it possible to have degrees, minutes, and seconds?? (Or choose between them?) 2) Is it possible to delay activation of a new warzone either by condition, flag or other? 3) Is it possible to have radio report toggled off at start 4) Is it posible to totally disable some aspects such as, Jtac, Economy, AWACS bearings? (I disabled as default from showing on start i just wonder for some missions wouldn't need some of the features at all) Hope these arent obvious dumb questions regards

Hi thanks for reply, starting with fresh mission just add the zone and lua (even with 0.4) get this error still, maybe i have different issue? Regards edit: Seems adding template works though, thanks, gonna see how far i get before i get confused with something lol

This seems awesome I think I am having same issue as Minhal though same error and war doesn't start, I downloaded attached lua and still got the same, is there a previous release?

@cfrag this is amazing, truely great stuff for mission makers, i only wish there were more videos on your youtube channel they are great i found when i followed them i started sparks in my brain on how to use modules together -

Hi all, i know FC3 is feature complete etc, however i would like to suggest something i have noticed would be a great feature after playing MP servers for quite a while now both modern and cold war. Basically to add feature to create waypoints from map markers (ala f14) Reasoning for the suggestion is thus : Firstly we all want full fidelity SU27, MIG29, SU25, and F15C but its not gonna happen atleast for the forseable future, however many people are playing the F15C and Flankers/Fulcrums in DCS and disregarding the fidelity of the avionics and other things one huge thing atleast online or in any dynamic situation having waypoints only able to be set by mission editor is really a major downfall. I think with this feature (which i only suggest because i "think" its not a huge workload to impliment, though could be totally wrong) we gain quite alot more utility to modules that many people love to fly while we wait and see if they will ever become FF modules. Secondly if you play a server and really want to fly for example mig29s. But the server is more realistic so you cannot use the f10 map its a real pain to fly these modules although they are so good as lowfi modules. Aswell as adding utility to the 3 air to air redfor jets in this FC3 package you will know ofcourse that the amazing cold war servers fly the a10A and SU25 and not having this small utility really breaks immersion and kinda ruins these cool modules in anything apart from a scripted setting. The suggestion: If would be possible to program waypoints from the ramp via the f10map markers just like waypoints on the tomcat or target points on the viggen/harrier utilising the kneeboard with engines off and canopy open the same as rearming. Basically simulating a data cartridge of sorts. Finally i think this would be a low effort (could be wrong) stopgap which would be greatly appriciated, while we miss some of these iconic aircraft as fully fledged modules. Thanks for reading

To be honest all can understand the issue with the government etc, but I've recently noticed that there are so many flanker and fulcrum pilots out there, and the 29 has got an awesome looking cockpit, fox3 and tws2. I feel that if they only added ability to create waypoints from map/kneeboard as example with the viggen this would more than please most redfor pilots and cold war pilots, as also the rest of FC3 suffer with that also. As playing in mulitplayer without this feature is kinda meh. The flight models, weapons and generally the models and textures are awesome and waypoint from map is kinda the only thing FC3 planes need. And I would imagine not a huge undertaking to impliment in the grand scheme of things.

I've noticed if your perfectly still on ground or near perfect hover it works normally, if you slave to the Vivian and start slewing (ie, the chopper is turning) then you get opposite inputs until it settles down still again, it wasn't like this some time ago its a new thing imo

I love the a10, but it's literally a close air support platform, ie, troops call in when they need some support or suppression, huge payloads and long loiter time. However in dcs playing online and etc, there is almost always SAMs and an urgency to get to a target because you will soon have fa18s bombarding the place with jsows. So being able to get to the target faster in the harrier is better, awesome loadouts, (10x jdams and real jdam ripples) Fun flight model, great for sead, in many cases the best, arguably the best tpod, without a tpod the DMT is amazing tool for auto bombing. Nothing worse that flying 60nm in the a10 to a target area and an fa18c booms overhead and killing all targets with 8x cbu jsows before you arrive lol This is why I'm flying the harrier alot more these days.

Though using the dmt TV you can have both up at once I assume because its a separate built in system but not sure.
