  1. I tried both Kutaisi and Senaki again in a variety of locations, without any response from the ground crew, so I rearmed and refueled at Kobuleti three times. I believe I destroyed all armor southwest of the bridges, and dropped a few extra CBUs at the bridges for good measure, for a total of 106 vehicles destroyed. Still scored 90, so thinking maybe the score is set upon the first landing at Kobuleti? Or I may have missed one. Or the wingman needs to survive.
  2. Was that since the November 29th update (DCS 2.9.1.48335)? I tried it on the runway (with canopy open), Taxiway C, and by the fire trucks on Taxiway F1. Senaki-Kolki is currently displayed as Neutral (white) on the F10 map. In my experience Neutral don't allow refuel/rearm. Or perhaps pilot error, wouldn't be the first time!
  3. Kneeboard (2M1_Mission Data Cards1 NEWpng_Page1v2.png) for mission 1 is showing a departure from Incirilik. It's also referring to bridges at Waypoints 1 and 2, which is incorrect. Also wondering if there are any guidance for what generates a perfect 100 score? I stopped the columns, temporarily anyway, and destroying between 33-48 pieces of armor in each of four attempts scoring 90 each and resulting in a ""Great job! You blew the bridges and slowed them down to a crawl. Shut down your jet and I'll meet you in Debrief." It doesn't seem to be a matter of Pig 1-2 getting shot down, as the score is still 90 if I send her back to RTB immediately after wheels-up. When i try to rearm at the "coalition bases" (Kutaisi and Senaki-Kolkhi, did not try Batumi) to go for more kills, the ground crew ignores me, presumably because they are actually Neutral rather than Blue. If I land back at Kobuleti, it's mission over.
  4. If jet is started with a jammer pod, and then it is removed both from the jet and the DCMS inventory, the Electronic Countermeasures Jammer will continue to show as ready on both the Countermeasure Signal Processor Panel and the Countermeasure Set Control panel even when the JMR switch is set to OFF. DCS 2.9.2.49940 Open Beta Note: this quite likely is likely not a new issue, I only noticed it because I am playing Operation Agile Spear which doesn't allow editing loadout prior to spawning into the aircraft on the ramp. a10c-jmr.trk A10C-jammer.miz
  5. lateral balance is easy when utilizing symmetrical loadouts, but that's out the window as soon as you strap on a TGP, ECM, and even worse if you only need one 2000 lbs bomb that can't go on the center. A graphical slider that would illustrate current horizontal center of gravity would help with this. There may be value in a second slider that shows wind-resistance, but I tend to think that's not as important. I would assume that DCS is already calculating these values under the hood, just asking to make them visible when creating a loadout. Thanks for all you do for us!

  6. Kind of similar issue in Mission 18, two lists of four channels in the briefing and kneeboard, but one has Ford 1-1 and the other has Dodge 02 Channel plan in briefing: Channel plan on kneeboard:
  7. I keep having Pontiac go down about 40 seconds after it enters the AO and the two jeeps appear. Looking at Tacview, it's just crashing into the valley bottom. Am I missing something, or is it broken? I've gotten to this point three times now. edit: on fourth attempt Pontiac navigated the terrain successfully, so it's just one of those things...
  8. This may be correct behavior, but it doesn't seem correct. ARC-164 radio switched to GRD (Guard) displays 243.000 on the faceplate, as it should, but displays the manual frequency on the UHF Radio Frequency Repeater. DCS 2.9.2.49629 Open Beta MT
  9. The kneeboard frequencies found on the PDF and in-game PNG (A10C II) for Mission 15 do not match. At least for Initial contact with Springfield 1-1, the in-game PNG kneeboard is correct (33.0). I quit at that point to reprogram radios so I can't comment on the remainder of the channel plan. PDF kneeboard: In-game PNG kneeboard:
  10. If the player and Six-Pack get up high (like >17k) after destroying the ship, the two fixed-wing bandits RTB without attacking. Similar outcome if player extends out 15nm and monitors with TGP, the L39s approached and then turned away... possibly because the two vipers were there. If the player watches the rotor-wing bandit until joker, the score is 50 despite destroying the target, following ROE, and surviving. Staying below the cloud base and close to the helicopter, the story plays out as I believe it's intended. DCS 2.9.2.49629 Open Beta MT edit: disregard, it seems the trigger zone is just very tight around the helicopter / ship, so basically you have to stay immediately overhead.
  11. Perhaps, but even line of sight it sometimes wasn't working. That said, not a big deal, and quite possibly not related to mission design. Could be operator error, or could just be a another random comm issue with the A-10C II module.
  12. Similar comms issues for me, but not consistently. Sometimes Warrior 2 or Tickles just stops talking. Sometimes they are fine. Doesn't seem to be a matter of me getting off frequency. It seems, but I haven't tested enough to verify, that the comms stop when Overlord transmits at the same time as I expect a transmission from Warrior. Also, when I do get Warrior 2 (JTAC) to shine their laser, it's close to the bunkers, but not close enough to do any damage with 500 pound bombs. Not a big deal, but seems odd to shine a laser if it's not in the precise location that the bomb should hit.
  13. This occurred on my flight as well, but just for the initial targets by the three white buildings. Inspecting the Tacview, it appears that it's actually destroyed by Echo 2's defensive efforts rather than spontaneous destruction like the Mi8 in the previous mission. Not related, but when Dodge 1-1 checks in with Echo 3, he states "We've got 60 minutes of playtime, we're established at the hold point, call us if you need anything." The briefing and kneeboards don't mention a hold point, but I orbited Echo 3 for 60 minutes (time accelerated, of course) before moving onto WP9. The only thing that happened during that hold time was that Dodge 1-2 saw a mountain. Not unlike actual IRL boring patrol missions!
  14. Warrior read the 9-line for me today on DCS 2.9.1.48335 Open Beta MT. Be sure to use the JTAC comm menu with the ARC 186 radio tuned to 42.3 FM.
  15. me three. The truck and personnel are not destroyed, although the radio message indicates that they were.
  16. Thanks @Bazz_Mulder, that actually looks like it lines up better than I would have expected. Do you think one on each side would reduce any play?
  17. Mind sharing photos?
  18. Serial #: 145642 Throttle Serial #: 062034 Joystick Location: Hawaii, USA
  19. Looking to do this damper mod. Do you think there is any advantage in using a higher quality motorcycle steering damper for this purpose? Starting with a new TPR, I'm a reluctant to drill holes for warranty purposes. The only non-drilling option is the 3d printed kits, like what CubeSim sells, correct? If not CubeSim, any particular recommendation?
  20. Same issue with lighthouses. Beams are visible in IR even during the day with hot ambient temperature and direct sun. DCS 2.9.1.48335 Open Beta MT. Lighthouse_IR.miz
  21. Abu Dhabi's Farmers Market needs to work on their air defense, they left the taxiway unguarded!
  22. Confirmed that ADF is not currently working for VHF FM (ARC-186) in the A-10C II:
  23. My testing, and what I'm understanding from above: ADF in ARC-186 radio (VHF FM) is non-functional still as of DCS 2.9.1.48335 Open Beta. Correct? Was trying to get it to work in Operation Persian Freedom Campaign mission 11.
  24. I'm not sure if ADF is working on the ARC-186 radio (VHF FM that is used for Copper / Red), as I can't get it to track Forge's transmission, but it definitely works on on the ARC-164 (UHF) radio when listening to the other Gunman flights. Or maybe I'm doing it wrong, this was the first time I've used ADF in the hog. I destroyed all of those SCUDs (21 by my count) and shot down the helicopter before it lands and still got 95. Is it possible to shoot down the helicopter before it lands and not get the points for Forge survival? I suspect that's what's happening here. On another note, super fun mission, and loved the canyon! If I was really going solo SCUD hunting without any medium range SAM threat under low clouds with potential for 20+ targets, I'd pack 2x BRU-42 full of M282 APKWS, 4x CBU-105s, leaving one pylon open for whatever, and of course a metric poop ton of flares! The laser bombs are about as much use as dumb bombs under the conditions.
