  1. @Silhou Hey there, This problem still exists, almost 2 years after this post was made. It is very, very frustrating for our Carrier Air Wing, significantly delaying missions because of people having to takeoff, find out they have the bug, quit DCS, rejoin, restart the jet and try again. It really takes a lot of fun out of taking an F-14 from the boat (where it belongs) in MP. Hope you guys can find something.
  2. Fantastic post and this would indeed be a welcome addition. For me personally it would be the reason to buy the map. It can add complexity with additional logistical assets and just compliments the whole. wholly agree with your case!
  3. Hello there! To make deck spawning more realistic and more doable for larger multiplayer groups, it would be good to have spawning on the fantail and sixpack. We have a custom modification right now but it is prone to failure if ED updates the SC and needs to be reapplied after each update. We'd rather have an official change. It would give us apprx 5 more spots which greatly speeds up a depart cycle! Thanks, Rodge.
  4. @f-18hornet Done, same. Here are some strange things: When clicking a hornet group for howler 3 and raven 4, the -1 cant find any donor, the rest only 1. When importing 2 stms (2 x 4 hornets), it all goes wrong, with another CTD. After loading those, my miz saved I think and is again corrupted. 5. On an existing mission, when opening the other options tab for the Hornet (for Datalink number, name) my DCS CTD. The log has this error: Error attempt to index field '?' (a nil value) Line 363 CoreMods\aircraft\FA-18C\Datalinks\Link16.lua In another attempt, my miz simply corrupted, unopenable after an attempted Save (which I think froze). Weirdly, on some attempts, I can actually access it but can find no other donors on the datalink tab. dcs.log.old Caucasus_template3.17.miz
  6. Evening folks. Today I received the new chip from Amd and I see people want info on it. I’m no benchmarking expert and only just learned about some benchmarking software so take this with a grain of salt. AMD 9800x3d h115 aio coolet Asus b650 ROG 64gb DDR5 6000 CL30 AMD7900XTX 5120x1440 + 3x winwing mfds reference cpu: 5800x3d. Caucasus flight where I was a little cpu bottlenecked. FPS avg 77->132 Frametimes 13->7.5ms 1% 26->15ms 0.1% 31.7->20.1ms Then upped MSAA from 2x to 4x (frequent gpu capped) FPS AVG 115 1% 63 0.1 47 MS AVG 8.7 1% 15.9 0.1% 21. Until someone comes along with pretty graphs, i can say that i am astounded at these results and can’t believe it’s just the cpu that raised my fps by that much.
  7. Carrier Air Wing 66 is hiring experienced naval aviators! Carrier Air Wing 66 is a DCS World PVE multiplayer group, centered on US Navy fighters and operations. We fly events in the EURO time zone and generally fly THURSDAY and SUNDAY at 1930 CE(S)T, which is always 1930 local time in Amsterdam. If you are outside our zone, but the times work for you, you are still free to apply. We are a small, but tight-knit community that emphasizes immersion, realism and teamwork over individual performance. We are primarily a PVE (Player vs. Environment) group that uses training, qualifications and detailed missions to immerse ourselves into the atmosphere of modern jet combat and the mind-set of a US Navy aviator. If you enjoy fast-paced action and racking up kills in PVP, this might NOT be the group for you. We are a mature and consistent group that focuses on learning, progression and having an inclusive and enthusiastic community. We can be considered a ‘hard-core’ unit, in that we emphasize training, qualifications and dedicated pilots that fly together over an extended period using realistic tactics, techniques and procedures. We currently operate three (fictional) US Navy squadrons; VF-119 “Tridents”, flying the F-14B Tomcat, VFA-166 “Maulers”, flying the F/A-18C Hornet and VAW-101 “Sea eagles”, providing Airborne command & control using LotAtc. Before considering joining, you should be able to attend at least one mission a week as a general rule, in addition to personal training offline. We use Discord as our main hub of interaction and communications between missions. When flying, we communicate using SRS (Simple Radio Standalone). Our student pilots (or ‘nuggets’ as they are called in the US Navy), progress through a qualifications program, where they learn the basic skills in aircraft handling and procedures (IQ), as well as basic weapons and tactics (MQ) and of course, carrier qualifications (CQ). After successfully completing IQ and CQ, you join the Wing on 'Cruise', which is our take on a dynamic campaign. Find us on Discord and have a look at our Welcome Document there. After that, give us a shout if interested! Rodge, CAG CVW-66 Oh, and give these videos a watch:

  8. Nice one! Btw, do you know that someone has made something similar in the past? Maybe you can lend some ideas from it. https://sites.google.com/view/fa-18c-flight-planner/home It's made by @timothyboss Good luck!
  9. Hi there, Rodge here from CVW-66. We are a milsim (or as close as possible with DCS) group and have 2 squadrons with about 30 members, comparable to CVW-17 as it seems. I'd like to chime in and confirm these issues. We love the idea of the SC but in practise, it's quite the challenge. We've had a lot of frustration with it and have to follow strict, non-immersive rules not to screw with things like launching. We share the same wishes as posted above. The passion and support is here, please repay it by fixing the problems Thanks and good luck.
  10. Hi there! I want to have a repository on my NAS, http (only option, right?). It worked with OVGME but am struggling with the setup with OMM. I went looking through the xml and am unsure where to put what data. Let's say the mod is called sample_mod and is located on my NAS at: http://thisisatesturl.com/mods/ and I have an xml at that location. Please let me know how to edit the xml to have it work, thanks.
  11. @Hairdo1-1 Hi, I have this as well. Popped up out of nowhere. Did you happen to fix it?
  12. @timothybossGreat to hear you've worked on it. I'll study it in detail and give a feedback after first mission use.
