  1. pretty dang cool.
  2. ED-hosted Multiplayer Servers.
  3. I'm really getting irritated at the number of servers popping up that are not allowing external view...at least put a disclaimer up in the server list. Also, I DCS needs to get involved and make a concerted effort for some multi-player missions. Dare I say...it's the one thing the console kids have right....replayability. The pointless "training" servers are a dime-a-dozen, and it gets really old.
  4. what syntax said.
  5. Indeed. Long overdue.
  6. Oh. Looks more like the pilot sneazed on the inside of the windshield.
  7. Pic or it didn't happen. Internet law #1.
  8. Oh they fire at the Huey! Been destroyed on the ground more than once by an RPG gunner, while doing insertion/extraction missions in multiplayer.
  9. MANY thanks Falcon! This has REALLY been grinding my gears.
  10. I've never really been one for the virtual squadron thing, but I joined, and I am really enjoying the experience. Glad it is not full of "tools".
  11. DUDE! The pilot's sight is modeled! Don't think it's the final (?), but it's there, functional, and textured. Sweet bonus on the update!
  12. Update* I didn't read the previous page prior to posting. I'll leave my original comment up out of shame. wait...they want me to pay for the A-10A & SU-25A ?!?! I thought I bought these in FC3? I already paid for the A-10C...this is getting a tad silly.
  13. The "unknown" circled in red is part of the M-60 mount (as circled in red below). The "unknown" circled in green...I thought was the M-60 ammo box, but now I'm not 100% sure, and don't want to speculate. Thanks again for the diagram Crashmo. jpg images image hosting tynipic
  14. God bless you Crashmo!! +rep
  15. i have this problem happen to me on a few occasions (only in the huey module) as well. I can never replicate it on purpose! it's some combination of keys prior to hitting f2 or while in f2 that disables the mouse while external, almost certain, just can't pinpoint it.
  16. Ah-ha, that makes sense. So it's essentially an extra 1/2 step or so. I'll try it, but I think you solved my problem. Thanks.
  17. Ok, got this thing working...AND I LOVE IT! However, some of my favorite mods are placed into a .zip folder. They aren't showing up. For example, Deverim's HD Huey Instrument Scales: The location where his modified .DDS files are supposed to go is "../DCS World/Mods/aircrafts/Uh-1H/Cockpit/Resources/Model/Textures/UH-1H-CPT-TEXTURES.zip" It doesn't seem to me that JSGME can reach into the game's default *.zip folders...am I missing something?
  18. ah....copied the ini file. think you're onto something. thanks!
  19. I didn't get the initial box asking where my "_mods" folder is located either (i saw someone else had this problem) when i first ran JSGME. Pointers?
  20. How do you view the skin like this outside of DCS....? I only know how to check on my skin's progress by launching it in DCS. That gets old QUICK!
  21. wow, aussieboy, thanks for explaining that. I just never touched the "*_spec" files, because I didn't know what they did. Makes me want to go in and update my LAPD skin to be a little more glossy now.
  22. I think it's deserving. I mean if the Air America huey downing the AN-2 is hanging in a hallway.... ;)
  23. ....and of course, the MI-8 is what all the cool bearded guys are riding around in overseas anyhow. So it DOES fit the bill for those of us die-hard, 'Merica, I only fly for western countries-type of flyers. This is actually commissioned for the CIA (copies available in the gift shop).
  24. if it's based on a real skin...then good enough for us! carry on.
  25. PhoenixBvo- you nailed it for me. Thanks! There's no way I can go back to the default NVGs after this...no way.
