WHY is this so ignored? I'm having the same issue still. What gives?
-
Are we getting anywhere with this?
-
Allow me to REALLY blow everyone's mind.....the sling loop, just behind the bayonet lug, on the M-4 also bounces with the aircraft's "vibrations".
-
Nah, I'm with you homie. Love both, but the Intruder is way more exciting to me.

Thanks Weber, just downloaded that sound pack and going to give it a go. Looking forward to not by hypnotized on my next flight.

So did we actually get a work around for the musical chimes when in the cockpit of the "A" model? Driving me crazy...puts me to sleep actually.
-
Speaking of that....it sounds like some mood music from Ghostbusters. Making this thing unflyable almost.

All great responses...thank you. I do have my china hat (warthog throttle) set to control wing sweep in normal flying conditions, but I'm speaking about the manual wing sweep lever under the clear housing. With my standard modifier key/joystick button, I could still manipulate the housing cover, lift/press, etc but need that axis assignment for swing the lever efficiently. Obviously, not a deal breaker, but would love to have the option. Again, for watching deck crew instructions, while taxiing and putting into oversweep, etc. @Eldur, I've looked with each update and had the cat since day 1, but have never seen an axis assignment available. Didn't think about modding the .lua (very interesting....)

Hey HB, I have this slider handle (on my warthog HOTAS) that's not used. Would love it if you guys could assign the wing sweep handle to an axis assignment in DCS. Thanks!

Thanks! First mission down...just very grateful for a new Tomcat campaign rooted in realism, but keeping in mind the player's realistic limitations. Thanks so much!
-
Yep....STILL happening in MP. Been YEARS.
-
Just read a book about the tomcat, where the TARPS mission really became very useful and common in its later years. Would be so cool to be able to feed into SA for allies on MP servers with battlefield commander slots.

I seem to have a significant frame increase with this latest OB patch. Using Rift S. I like it.
-
When selecting rearm/refuel and the pop-up menu appears which allows you to enter the "board number"...the numbers entered are one digit less than what appears on nose of aircraft. For example entering "01" = "12" displayed

Refreshing to have a realistic, concrete update. Thanks guys! Wish you had control of the whole thing!
-
Definitely a newer issue (last month or so)...didn't know it was in other modules as well.
-
Just FYI, I've noticed that if I don't close out of the oculus app after use my hand controller batteries drain quick! Since learning this and closing the app after each use, I have greatly extended my hand controller battery life.

Hey HB team, just wanted to say I truly appreciate the little things that make your work so incredible. I jokingly made a thread in the "bugs" section stating the HGU-33 flight helmet with visor housing should have the knob in the "down" position. You guys fixed it! Insane level of detail. Thanks!

Agreed...this was promised. NOT paying any more for this module, unless there is a new variant released. This was the beginning of the end of early access purchases for me.

Polychop Simulations OH-58D Kiowa
todd022 replied to Polychop Simulations's topic in DCS: OH-58 Kiowa
Borchi has a great point about the rotor system differences and how a semi-rigid rotor system isn't great for maneuverability. You know this already if you fly the huey and have snapped the rotor off with aggressive maneuvering. -
They sit about an inch or two away from the eyes and we adjust them to sit a little high so we can read instruments by slightly glancing down/under the goggles...for looking outside the cockpit we look "up" through the goggles.

Agree with mwd2 on this...just installed all the mods from fresh links last night. Still getting "Need modules for load mission: Unarmed Boat victory cargo" when trying to load mission 7. Is there a need to put everything in "saved games" folder or main directory? Does it matter?

The cockpit closing sounds like my granda's den door shutting when we were being loud and she was watching her stories! Or when my friends would sign off AOL Instant Messenger. Kind of the same era, can't quite remember.
