  1. And in the real aircraft, it cannot be moved manually to OFF? Also... it probably won't do that, since I use a physical switch for it... and I didn't shell-out $100 for a magnetic release one.
  2. Make sure your launch bar is retracted.
  3. It would be nice to have a separate ON and OFF states for the fuel dump switch. Currently, there's only one "ON/OFF" mappable command.
  4. DCS has been very wonky at best since the MT release this month. A lot more frustrating than ever before.
  5. I used 11" Winmaxit screens for about a year, before I got WW MIP. Bonus there was that I could use a single screen to drive two MFDs.
  6. Yeah, I just decided to skip this one :-(. Too many helos, they disappear into the mist, and that other surprise to the east is no fun :-). In all other missions, there was an overwhelming support force. This one so far feels like an outlier.
  7. Just to close the loop on this one; I ended up feeding the screens through Helios.
  8. By "replay" I meant "me playing the mission again". I may have some time later today, let me try to create a quick clip for you.
  9. My favorite answer for missiles won't lock is summarized here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97NXoOydDw4&t=40s
  10. SimApp pro needs to run while you use DCS for anything to show up.
  11. Thank you for this. This doesn't really solve the problem, to be honest. The problem here isn't "get the IEFI data", rather "how to I make it work with Winwing's secret sauce". One obvious solution is to skip the screen setup in Winwing's silly app, and set those screens up in Helios, but that's something I'd very much like to avoid... if I can.
  12. I used to have a setup with TM MFD panels + multiple external monitors driven by Helios, which I replaced with Winwing MIP MFDs. This setup freed up 2x rather nice 11" screens, which I would love to use for IEFI and potentially other gauges. Winwing uses their own app to configure screens in DCS, and this is where I am logically stuck. Has anyone done something similar? What would be the easiest way to go around setting this up?
  13. No. You may need to resize the kneeboard to see it in its entirety. You may also need to flip the pages. However, at this point, a screenshot of what you are seeing may help.
  14. Loving the concept. Still haven't played, but I can 100% see how having the economics aspect of the "blue" side lead to folks being just a tad more careful with their aircraft :-). If there's not cash on hand, no airplane
  15. Yeah, I don't have it, and was unable to reproduce the problem afterwards. In that mission all sorts of things felt wonky, and I just attributed it to the MT.
  16. Hm... Dam wall AAA was obliterated, but there were some other units in town that on my first play-through destroyed the helos. That's where I ran out of ammo
  17. That depends where you are. I received an order from WW today, and was asked to sign for it (as the tracking said it would be the case).
  18. [ before you ask, I don't have a track readily available; this was observed in MT, so it could be related ] I noticed yesterday during a long mission (from the new Inherent Resolve campaign) that in A/A mode, when I used TDC on air-mode radar, the radar antenna elevation changed as well. I am 100% (checked during the mission). I have not noticed this before the latest open beta upgrade.
  19. I would be absolutely delighted if your optimism translated into reality with one of the upcoming releases!
  20. Ouch. This one has been around since forever... this probably means we won't be getting a fix anytime soon (not a criticism, just probably not a priority).
  21. Slowly going through the campaign, and enjoying the frustration of vagueness - it really creates the illusion of being a cog and not a superhero when flying these missions. I fly back, mission success, and personally have like 1 or 2 hits. I never served in military, but I suppose this is how things look like. Now, with that in mind, the latest mission I flew was #4. Find below some observations that made the frustration a bit larger.
  22. One way to go about it. Create a moving zone around enemy units. Once you enter it, trigger a random number generator that sets flag to true or false based on whatever probability you desire. Set another trigger that changes their weapon status based on that flag (true=weapons free, or designated only, with you as a target; false=hold).
  23. Wait until you see the mission 3 :-). To be honest, this campaign reflects fog-of-war rather nicely. There is really no direct way to know how well you did (unless there is an ejection seat involved) until you finish.
  24. The provided briefing maps give you a vague indication where the targets are. The rest is on you.
