To ensure that all members are well-prepared for the challenges of virtual flight, we offer a comprehensive training program that covers essential techniques, procedures, and tactics. New members are required to complete this program within 60 days of joining, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in our virtual skies. As part of our commitment to active participation and teamwork, we expect all members to fly at least one of the scheduled flights per week. Virtual Carrier Air Wing 17 operates the F-14B Tomcat flying with VF-103 the "Jolly Rogers", and the F/A-18C Hornet in VFA-34 the "Blue Blasters". We simulate the composition of the real CVW-17 in the early 2000's. Our carrier and flagship is CVN-73, the George Washington. We fly missions and trainings every Tuesday and Thursday at 20:30 CET.
