Noticed that when giving George the greenlight to engage targets with the gun he will do so when within a certain range but it's still outside the max effective range of the gun to which the rounds magically go away. Obviously he still says he can't shoot because of the distance to target for example he wont shoot if your 4k away. But when he does engage he still shoots when the distance is to far that the bullets just vanish. null
  4. haha thanks for share. I don't see why the mission maker can't place a drone somewhere and a player(JTAC) can use it while the drone orbits. You can do 2 orbits. a simple circle orbit where it orbits over a waypoint, or a racetrack orbit where it flies between 2 waypoints. It would be a super useful addition.
  5. I worked with 64s for awhile. There is no tint, it's just how the curve reflects. You can find pictures of when the canopy looks like it has neon colors.nullnull
  6. nullSorry but ZSU-57s as well.. We were using the terrain to conceal our movement to engage on it but it tracked us the whole way. Every time we popped up to unmask the FCR for a scan we were greeted with rounds zipping by.

  8. It's super annoying when you're supposed to be a sneaky attack/recon helicopter but the enemy can see you and engage you even when there is no possible way of Line of sight(LOS). For example, I was in multi situations where the KS-19 was engaging me with accurate fires when there was no way they should have been able to see me or get rounds accurately on me Situation 1. I'm almost 3nm away from the KS19 hovering at 10ft behind some very dense woodline and some other terrain features between myself and the KS19. And the KS19 is getting rounds through the woodline and lighting me up with zero LOS. I never exposed myself prior to the engagement. null Situation 2. I broke contact from that last location and I'm almost 4nm away. Now in an opening in the woodline hovering at 10ft getting lit up with accurate fires by a KS19 with no LOS. I had to wait for a fixed wing to drop a bomb on it before I could contribute to the game. null Situation 3. I'm 7nm away flying through a valley using a mountain as cover(in dead space and defilade with 0 chance of LOS) and a KS19 is engaging me with accurate track. When I try to expose myself enough so the FCR can scan I already have accurate rounds on me. Situation 4. I'm using a building as cover. The KS-19s leveled the building to get to me.. It's just a game killer when the AI knows where you are when in reality they wouldn't. I have made another post about this but apparently it's just a skill issue.

  10. Has this already been discussed? I personally know a bunch of dudes who would love to strictly be roaming around in the MQ-9 to designate targets for players

  12. I know it's possible for devs to change some stuff in the rearm option panel. Can you please make it so players can toggle if they want a FCR on their aircraft through the rearm menu. Or have the option set so a mission editor can allow players to decide.null

  14. Make the engagement areas between friendly and enemy easily identifiable in ME when dealing with opposite coalitions being close to each other. Red Coalition has a Red engagement area. Blue has a blue engagement area. null

  15. I wonder if that's a DCS thing or if all jets in DCS minus the mirage automatically take fuel. In the M2000 you can connect but if you don't turn on the fuel flow you wont get anything.

  17. Would be nice to have more options to have weapons displayed on a weapon dolly/skid instead of just massive F117 bombs. Can't see it being super complicated. It would add to immersion nullI'll attach some photos

  19. Would be cool to add a F10 radio menu to request X amount of fuel from a tanker. F10 menu Option 1 = 1,000lbs Option 2 = 2,000lbs Option 3 = 3,000lbs Option 4 = 4,000lbs Option 5 = 5,000lbs Option 6 = Complete fill up Example: After take off you link up with a tanker. F10 radio menu option 6 to top off the amount you just used. Maybe even have the tanker respond that they are on station and have 5,000lbs left to give so you choose a different option, especially if you're in a flight with others.

  22. We can place static objects on the carrier by linking them to the carrier. Why not have this option for players? This would be a cool option for those that fly small squadron missions if a mission maker can place hot start aircraft anywhere on the Carrier deck. For example: The mission starts, an AI E-2 is on cat 2 ready to launch while you spawn in a hornet staged behind cat 2's blast shield waiting to be ground guided to the cat after the E-2 is launched. Even if having AI placed anywhere like the above example would be really cool emersion and simulate that busy carrier deck. Plus players spawning have a good chance to spawn on top of or inside other players due to the spawn locations. IF you have AI start from the ramps that's another nightmare, and if that mission server is running SLMOD the player just got kicked/banned....
  23. Noticed when flying in mission editor to test something out on syria the frames are pretty bad. Tested with other maps and they didn't seem as effected as the massive drop Syria has. If I play syria outside of mission editor my frames are running like they should.
