Can we please get the overdue drogue basket & hose physics. It was talked about their being a rework when the hornet was releasing. That was almost 6 years ago. THIS IS NOT ME BASHING ED Currently the drogue basket just hangs behind the tanker in a fixed position. There's a DCS video mixed with interstellar about a tanker spinning out of the sky and the basket is in it's normal fixed position not swinging around or anything. And a player is able to connect to the basket and take fuel. We all know visuals sell, and when players see other games/sims have drogue basket/hose physics it makes the DCS community want that in our beautiful simulation. We got nice fancy clouds real quick when other sims pushed out nice looking clouds. Is making radar simulations easier than making drogue basket physics? Again was talked about almost 6 years ago. It would be so cool to see the fuel purge during a connect/disconnect or a improper connection. Having the basket dance around behind the tanker while players are waiting for the right moment to push into it. The hose waving around as the aircraft makes the connection.

From all the footage I have it seems he only uses IR with point track and not using the proper magnification. Maybe if there was a way to have him search with IR and if the targets are to far have him switch to the day time optics depending on range. 2.9nm / 5.5km: Thinks he has LOS on a BMP behind a outpost, point tracks the outpost thinking its the bmp?

Is there a way to make the files smaller? I was on for only 19min10sec getting data and it says it's to big. Most multiplayer server flights take 10-15 minutes of travel time.

Hello Dark Lord All my track files are too big to share. But I have screenshots and recordings. He zooms in on a target and after firing he zooms out giving a pretty big margin for error while tracking. Sometimes he says "target acquired" when looking in the general direction or if the target is masked behind a object (ex a building). I'm going to get on later and try some mission editor stuff and see if I can get a track file from that.

This has been a issue for a few patches but it's not game breaking. I would say this occurs 40% of the time, and have noticed it on both multiplayer and single player. When he gives you the prompt that he's ready to fire but you can see in the video source he's point tracking something else or is just slightly off target. If he's not using point track after firing his aim point drifts off target, or he launches while slightly off target and makes adjustments to hit the target. Assuming he's able to use LMC. I'll play some more tomorrow and get some track files.

Would it fix it if you put the fixed wing units to a different freq that isn't on the UHF and VHF mission freqs? I disabled the AI Radio call outs and it's happening still.

Might as well since they spent all that time modeling it Would even be better if we had the hesco barriers and weapon skids I request before. Lone Wolf, group mission, campaigns immersion sold.

Would be nice if mission makers could select uncontrolled aircraft to have the protective covers that the static object aircraft get. For those that don't know, you can use the uncontrolled option to make an aircraft appear as a static airplane; but you can give them a loadout so the pylons have stores on them, compared to the normal static aircraft. OR! have some default loadout options for static object aircraft. Probably won't happen but we know visuals sell. Unless WP2 isn't waypoint 2 than I got it wrong. I noticed on the F10 map we the player are not on the map but our wingman is, and waypoint 2 for the AI wingman is near the cruiser while our TSD is at waypoint 1.

Hello just finished mission 8, where you take off from the tarawa and take out speed boats. I did the mission twice just to see if there was an issue on my end. I ended up with a 75/100 on both attempts with no mission complete pop up. Just wondering if I missed a step or maybe a issue. - Start up, confirmed that I entered the radio freqs, wingman takes off first: Never got the push spacebar trigger to request take off so I just did it. - Landed at the cruiser - Entered the target location data - Successfully defended the tanker - 1st attempt RTB back directly to the tarawa landing in parking spot 3 no mission complete. 2nd attempt flew the waypoints back, 4-7 and landed in all available parking spots with no mission complete. Oh, the mission briefing says land at the cruiser at waypoint 2, but it's actually at waypoint 1.

Can we get a option to have empty auxiliary fuel tanks? We only have an option for full aux tanks. Was doing a mission last night and the 64s were supposed to simulate a low fuel state after rerouting from their long range patrol to go support a unit that was supposed to have a refueler for the 64s. Mission started with fuel remaining of 760 with an endurance of 41 minutes. But once the tanks were turned on it bumped the fuel to 3,8xx with an endurance of 3hr29min

With all the desert based maps why don't we have a default hesco barriers? I know there is a mod out there for it but some people don't want to install mods. I wouldn't think that's asking a lot and mission makers would be able to make realistic looking fobs/bases. If not soon can we please get it when Afghanistan comes out? A couple images for those who might not know what a hesco barrier is.

Any side by side photos of the high detailed vs low detail areas for those that buy the full map vs regions. Also can we expect some screenshots of the areas anytime soon? Really curious to see how it looks from low level. Some of us don't plink targets from 30,000+ The Eiffel Tower on Normandy 2.0 looks great from 30,000ft but when you get right next to it...

I have asked multiple times on the discord with no feedback so maybe an answer will be here? In regards to combined arms, is there a way to make them like an aircraft slot so players can keep selecting them? I know how to place them but it seems like once the unit is dead the slot is gone

Wish List Request, the 64 comes with default clean/combat skins like the F-15E. The 64 can be a dirty girl and every paint scheme minus 2 look like it just came back from getting power washed. My two favorite liveries is the 12th CAB weathered and the 25th CAB because they look beat/dirty or just like they get used.
