yes, I get that. But I don't get why. It has more power, it's faster and it has a more potent radar. Why don't they use it as such? Because it's a strike aircraft, but they use it too as an interceptor. F-10 is a very specific purpose oriented plane. There are many things it can't do but it's the best in what it does. But f-15, f-16, f-18 are all weather/all conditions/multipurpose aircraft. They have differences, yes, but again: why it cannot use a maverick? Again, i've seen photos of them carrying them, so I don't get it...

Hi all. I don't know if I'm writing in the correct place. If so, sorry for that. The new F-15e can't load mavericks, right? if so, why? I've seen pictures of f-15e's carrying them... I've also noticed they can't have SEAD missions? Thanks in advance!

@AirSenpai, thanks man. It seems the problem was some conflict with some mods. It worked again when I repaired, but then, the mods were still creating problems. I think everything is in mint conditions right now, so things work properly again. Many thanks anyway!! -
Well, it seems somehow there were some folders duplicated and things were probably conflicting. Right now, after some serious cleaning, it seems everything is working. Problem is, everytime it works at the beginning, and 4 days later it doesn't, but let's hope now it will do. Thanks @MAXsenna and @Morpheus for helping. Actually you gave me the hint to find the problem!

Thing is, now that you said it, some of those MODS go in the Saved Games, others go in the real DCS game folder. I used to use OvGM only for managing the latter. But because some problem I had with one specific MOD, someone told me they used OvGM for ALL their MODS, so I created a second config for the ones in Saved Games, hence creating a new folder for all of them. And around that date I started having problems with my weapons. I have to investigate it further but you, sir, may have given me the reason why this is happening! Thanks, man!

Hi all! Last week I was suddenly having problems lasering my bombs. Nothing happened until someone recommended me to uninstall my mods and make a cleanup and repair. It worked. I re-enabled some of them and it was ok, until since a couple of days I started having troubles with my GBU-105s, that stopped dropping, so today I decided to do it again. I never reinstalled the MODS I thought could cause the troubles, and most of the ones I have, have been working perfectly for a long time, so I was suspecting about one of the most recent ones. I use OvGME, so I disabled (again) all of them in order to repair my DCS and forget about the ones I suspected of. Somehow, when disabling them, several messages announcing problems appear. I went to the logs and most messages were about folders and files that couldn't have been deleted. I deleted all of the remaining undesired files, cleaned up and repaired again. And again, it worked. GBUs drop normally again. By now I'm sure it is a problem of my MODS, but, as said before, most of them have been installed for a long time without problems. And besides the fact that I like them very much, several of my missions depend on them, so I'm not giving up. I want to find which one is causing me troubles. I decided to enable again just the most trusted ones. Barthek's caucasus, Massun92-asset pack, civil aircraft mode, and military aircraft mod. Ok. When enabling them (once again), I noticed three of them make a warning. It seems they have a lua file entering in conflict those are: Massun92 / Civil Aircraft and Military aircraft. I don't understand, those three have been at least 6 months installed without any problem. I don't get why now it seems to be a conflict with some overlapping file. Here is my list of MODS. Most of them are currently disabled: -A-4E-C Skyhawk (enabled and working fine) -Civil Aircraft Mod (Disabled/conflict) -Military Aircraft Mod (Disabled/conflict) -Iron Dome (Disabled for a while, so it's not the problem) -Massun92-asset pack (enabled and working fine) (Conflict) -Tacview (enabled and working fine) -Barthek's Caucasus Redone 2022- rev2 (enabled and working fine) -Barthek's Caucasus Redone- snowless winter (enabled and working fine) -All the F-16 SUFA and weaponry (first to uninstall and still wasn't working) (Disabled for a while, so it's not the problem) -TAZ1004_NVG (enabled and working fine) -SAM-Pack_S300_Series_02 (Disabled for a while, so it's not the problem) -SAMSitesAssetPackBeta19 (Disabled for a while, so it's not the problem) -VPC-Airfield_Equipment (Disabled for a while, so it's not the problem) -Reshade (enabled and working fine) -F-16 Louder cockpit v.1.0 (this is the one I was suspecting of, but now I'm not sure at all) Do any of you know why those three enter in conflict, or if there's any solution to it? (like changing the names of the conflicting files or something like that?): Anyone had problems with one or more of those mods? Any ideas of what should I do? Thanks to all in advance!

@TobiasA, man I decided to do the clean up and repair and (though losing a lot of stuff is a tragedy), everything looks to work fine. I really do appreciate your help, since many times I've been so lost in so many things I sometimes wanted to just quit. Until a few weeks ago I wasn't even able to drop some bombs because I didn't know the azimuth line had to be precisely in the center of your FPM to drop, so I'm improving step by step. Nevertheless, once I achieved dropping them, LASER was never a problem. Most of your greatly appreciated corrections are related with the way of dropping them but in this case the problem was the bombs ignoring the laser. A list of my mods: -A-4E-C Skyhawk -Civil Aircraft Mod -Military Aircraft Mod -Iron Dome -Massun92-asset pack -Tacview -Barthek's Caucasus Redone 2022- rev2 -Barthek's Caucasus Redone- snowless winter -All the F-16 SUFA and weaponry (first to uninstall and still wasn't working) -TAZ1004_NVG -SAM-Pack_S300_Series_02 -SAMSitesAssetPackBeta19 -VPC-Airfield_Equipment -Reshade And something about the sound of the clicks in the cockpit that I have to look for again Hope this helps. Ok, I did cleanup and repair. Both my problems with the laser and the gbu-97's seem to be gone (still it failed one gbu-12, which it shouldn't but the other 5 went fine), so I thank you all for it. Still, some of my mods are necessary (many of my missions depend on them), so I guess now I have to be testing one by one. One question, when cleaning up I found something I forgot and it asked me if I wanted to back up it. Any idea where that backup would be? Thanks to you all for your time and kindness! -

That seems like the typical track error. I didn't crash and I dropped 1 gbu-12 and one GBU-24 before I stopped the mission. In a previous message I said I did that on DTOS just to see if it was a problem with the targeting with the steerpoint. I tried many times before in CCRP and the result was the same. Anyways, it should work in DTOS as well. I hold the release button before dropping them, but it would mean a problem in dropping the bombs. The bombs relase well, they simply ignore the laser... -

Man, I changed the code (just in case) and used the new code and still didn't work. This is no random failure this is like 20 bombs constant failure. -

Hi all, I tried again, still the same result. I changed laser code to 1531 as @Sinclair_76 put it as an example. Didn't work with gbu-12 nor 24. I missed the first try, so if you watch the track, please be forgiving. It makes me a little nervous being watched by the DCS community. I tried them in DTOS in case it was a problem with the asignment of the target. Everything works as usual, still it doesn't work. I didn't disable all my mods, just the one I thought it could create conflict (f-16 sufa and weaponry), but even with the latter, it always worked and this is new from yesterday. No updates since last week, so I don't know. Waiting for your comments, thanks. wronglaser.trk -

It took me months to realise you have to make your last call "ready pre-contact" to the tanker when you are really, really close; almost in position. When you're not, it replies something like "resuming contact" or something similar. Keep on getting closer until he replies "cleared contact" and then you will see the hose starts moving to try and catch you. Until I noticed that, I was terribly frustrated (not that I'm not anymore :D), because I was in position but it never refueled me. "Cleared contact" is the key, man.

Hi, guys. I appreciate the comments. Any malfunction could happen in one mission, not in two different setups, maps and on several ocassions. As I said, I didn't check the laser code, although I tried in a training mission I created where I praticed it a lot and where it always worked with the basic code. Somehow this is new. I've done it many times before and it is since yesterday it doesn't work properly. Different mission / different map / different ordinance. Laser was on (actually I was lasering the whole time in every ocassion), it was single player and I was the only plane flying in both missions, so no interferences from other guys. I don't know if it's related anyhow, but I'm having problems with other ordinance at the same time. It's been a few days since I cannot use GBU-97's because if I turned them in CCRP, program crashes. I added it to the bugs section. In this case, nothing crashes it is just as if the bombs couldn't see the laser, but I wonder if it could be related. Each of those problems are weird enough, but both at the same time... I will play it later and upload the track file (stupid question, is it the same kind of file that TacView uses or another? I never uploaded any track) Thank you all. -
Hi all, for 4 days already every time I use a GBU-97 with the F-16, It crashes the moment I change it to CCRP. Never happened before, now it crashes everytime different missions, different maps. I removed some mods to see if there was any conflict, it keeps on doing that. Anybody who experienced the same?

UPDATE: In a different mission, a training mission I created and flown a million times, it keeps on failing. Both gbu-12's and 24's. It's obvious they are not following the laser. It never ever happened to me before. Does anybody have a clue? -
Hi all. I'm quite frustrated because there is a mission where my GBU-12's constantly miss. I dropped a million laser bombs and never had a problem, so I know the drill more or less well enough. But there is a mission where I never achieve hitting the target (sometimes the land quite far away from it), in spite of me lasering the whole fall without any problem. And since it is a mission that starts from cold, and need about 45 mins to arrive to the dropping area, I am enormously frustrated right now. And I think it is linked to some problems I had when I was even more vanilla, which is as following: let's say the steerpoint is placed somewhere near but not exactly above the target. Even when I used the TGP for selecting the target (and of course, lasering it), maybe... maybe, it is calculating the CCRP having the steerpoint in mind, not the information the TGP is providing. So I thought using the coordinates the TGP gives and creating some specific markpoint, turning it into a new steerpoint (you know, some #26 steerpoint) and using it. Failure again. Does it ring a bell to any of you? I didn't change the laser code when starting up, but no one else is lasering around... Frustrated as hell Thanks in advance!

Yes, but it wasn't just parking. When the whole column arrived, 2 vehicles must continue a bit further and place themselves close to some SAM launchers, meanwhile the others, after some minutes, should continue their way. That's something you can't do in one single group. Nevertheless, thanks for the info!!

Hi, I got a mission created with exactly that scenario. You can create a group with as many vehicles as you want (mine has +40), and they can be different vehicles. They march at the same speed (as long as ALL vehicles can achieve that speed, if you know what I mean), without a problem. Actually, the problem came when I needed two vehicles to park at the arrival at a different position. You can't, so I had to make a 2nd group, and that's where the problems came. But if all are part of the same group, don't worry, they will go at the same speed. I use many waypoints because sometimes I want them to go faster or slower, and in any waypont you can control the exact speed. That helps a lot, but if they are ON ROAD you mark a beginning and an end and it will work just fine, in case you don't need to make them accelerate or decrease speed. If they are OFF ROAD it's the same, but if there are great slopes or ramps, some vehicles are faster or more potent than others, so you need to pay attention to that. I hope that helps.

Hmmm, that might be it. I read the instructions and it said I should install it in games saved/mods/tech, so i did it that way, not with the OGVM. I have some mods that are installed directly on mods folder (iron dome, massun92-asset pack, etc) and i never needed to use the OGVM with those... I will do it your way and see if it works. Thanks, man!
