It started in 2012. They had progress towards it but they have been restarting that project since then. If it's the case where the models were shown off back then as well, then I would say that they've been in development for that long as well, though I haven't been around for that long and have only heard of the F-15 situation, nor am I attacking them (I quite like the module).

I'm in the same boat. It'd be like playing MSFS so I wouldn't necessarily mind not doing anything combat related.

Out of early access release and the start of early access release. Either wait it'll be released in some form to the public before a complete release.

That is quite true. I forgot that map even existed so then I guess that solves that. I'll just be the broke guy who needs to use Syria.

I said Israeli. We are getting Iranian liveries as well most likely but we don't have a map with Iran, so Syria is the next best option.

Sinai will be a good playing ground for Israeli and Egyptian Phantoms for sure. A mix of non-fictional and fictional missions will work quite well there. Syria would probably work the best if you want to have Iranian F-4 flying around.

Maybe a chunk of people specifically desire the naval Phantoms, but other prefer the land based ones, and the rest simply don't care as long as it is a Phantom.

The module that took 10+ years to develop better be out before the one that has only taken 3.

I was sure it happened with the Apache release. I recall having issues with logging in for a good while when one of the more popular modules released recently. Didn't get the 504 but there was someone saying that could've been due to the F-15 being leaked.

I hope that's the case. At least we won't have to worry about servers being down for a day with the pre-order though... When the Phantom does release, I could only imagine how many 502 error's we'll be seeing.

My hopes are all over the place, like the mood of someone who's bi-polar. With Sinai releasing out of no where though, maybe a rather sudden pre-order isn't too impossible.

With how things were looking... F-4 before F-15 seemed almost realistic.

Can't say if it's really hopium on the last part there. I am thinking we'll be more likely to see the 15 along with Sinai and possibly F4U before the 4 though, just based on the fact that 15 will probably won't see another delay, Sinai has also been in the hands of YTubers, and Corsair is seeming to be pretty close. With the F-4 under wraps as much as it is, I imagine we will probably end up being surprised by when it does hit pre-order.

Well we have only a few aircraft modules that are most likely ready for this year, and the F-4 was definitely one of them. They can release maps with aircraft if need be since they aren't exactly competition for each other, we saw that once before if I recall, so there's still a chance we see the F-4 at the very end of 2023 or maybe early 24 if it gets delayed any.

Chances are, it won't just drop into OB since it was said that there will be a pre-order for the Phantom as well. With hope, it won't take nearly as long as the 15 or other modules to actually release.

Sadly the Normandy 2 thing only matters to people who got it. As I don't have storage for it... Didn't pick it up.

Doubt it'd be a dev but more likely a tester/SME.

Na, they simply have their own method of going about showing off the module. I imagine there's quite a bit they could show off right now but that would decrease the overall excitement for it later on. The F-15 release has pretty much lost hype over the course of time since it's getting shown off so often. It's like comparing a horse to a unicorn with the F-15 and F-4.

Honestly for me it depends on what exactly is missing still. There are some things I could certainly live without in order to fly it but obviously Cobra and the guys (and girls?) wouldn't want to do that.

It will most likely come in Q4 if at all this year for sure. If we end up seeing a pre-order during this summer though, could see a late Q3 release... That may be a bit optimistic though. I imagine they'd be working on making the aircraft work as well as it can with MT but I doubt that MT development will cause any delays for the Phantom. If anything, they'd continue to update the Phantom alongside MT if needed.
