Yay. Circling a target area to observe targets is easier with TGP on the wing. You can then put a big badaboom or bag on the centerline, more big boom on the inner pylons. Also, Jeff has pretty good range and endurance if you stay at altitude and leave the AB alone.

„First“ Patch?

No one ever said it’s Earth Years. On Mars everything is on track.

We have Litening und ATFLIR in DCS, but were not cool enough for Sniper.

tacan is not working with data link on. You gotta switch it off and then use tacan.

Just to make sure - you ED pals know that 9th August is actually today? I have unclassified and ITAR free documents to prove it.

Hello long number. The campaign isn’t done by deka. You should tell the creator here https://forum.dcs.world/forum/1037-dcs-mad-jf-17-thunder-campaign/

Packs mal neben ne Flanker =]

Well, technically, the F-10 Marker Waypoint Entries are not broken. They switched it off for now.
-
With LCTRL + Left klick somewhere one the F-10 Map you get a popup with the coordinates. It stays in F1 View. Punch in Coordinates Manually. Less typing, more DTCing : I think PP1-PP4 and RP1-RP6 are still functioning. You can set those via F10 Marker and then either copy&paste them to the waypoint slots in the DEST Menu, or just select them as current steerpoint when you dont need the Route-Lines on the HSD.

You are releasing the Bomb to hit the Point that was designated at the time of release. The Ship is moving. Depending on speed, the Bomb does not have enough energy to actually get to the target / laser des. where it is at the time of impact. So, dont Designate the ship but lead it with the designation (designate a point in front of the ship on its predicted path). Dont think about GBUs as "guided weapon" (albeit, it is of course) - but think of them as dumb bombs that have the added bonus of being abled to be guided to a exact point
-
Put known stuff like this in the changelog next time please. So people don’t screw around confused and think they are stupid.
-
Id be already happy about a "yes, were working on it". Last news was Nicks Statements in the Virtual Airshow Interview - and it didnt sound very promising tbh
-
Yes it does. Depends? If GPS Guided: No. You have to transfer the coordinates after designating to the bomb in the Smart PACS. If Laser Guided - it will fly where you point the laser, you get release cues for the designated target By Transferring the coordinates if GPS Guided (JDAM), by pointing and firing the laser until impact with laser guided (GBU-XX) No. Designate is just telling the PLane "Thats the coordinates i want to go boom". Designation and Cues will get more precise when Lasing while designating (afaik), but you have to activate the laser manually before designating for best coord quality.

I heard you like F-Teens? So i put a F-18 in your F-15!
-
Thats a weird F-15E youre flying there Maybe rather check in there: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/320-bugs-and-problems/
-
You can change it apparently by doing it station per station and not all at once.
-
Only thing i can think of in addition to that; You have a Weapons Program set with those JDAMs in it?
-
No, i wanted to say that although the pilot might have told the truth, that does not necessarily mean that taking away that capability from the WMD7 might have been an error. I dont know what the Aselpod is capable to do, but considering Pakistan and, i think, nigeria switching to them, there might be a reason.
-
afaik not every country uses the pod we have in dcs, pakistan for example replaced them with a turkish aselpod
