  1. Who said galinette? Metal2Mesh, on several discords like the razbam one.
  2. The developers that „left“ weren’t razbam employees that put in their notice. Their freelancers. Dude is already posting JHMCS 3D Modells again.
  3. You are releasing the Bomb to hit the Point that was designated at the time of release. The Ship is moving. Depending on speed, the Bomb does not have enough energy to actually get to the target / laser des. where it is at the time of impact. So, dont Designate the ship but lead it with the designation (designate a point in front of the ship on its predicted path). Dont think about GBUs as "guided weapon" (albeit, it is of course) - but think of them as dumb bombs that have the added bonus of being abled to be guided to a exact point
  4. Put known stuff like this in the changelog next time please. So people don’t screw around confused and think they are stupid.
  5. Id be already happy about a "yes, were working on it". Last news was Nicks Statements in the Virtual Airshow Interview - and it didnt sound very promising tbh
  6. Yes it does. Depends? If GPS Guided: No. You have to transfer the coordinates after designating to the bomb in the Smart PACS. If Laser Guided - it will fly where you point the laser, you get release cues for the designated target By Transferring the coordinates if GPS Guided (JDAM), by pointing and firing the laser until impact with laser guided (GBU-XX) No. Designate is just telling the PLane "Thats the coordinates i want to go boom". Designation and Cues will get more precise when Lasing while designating (afaik), but you have to activate the laser manually before designating for best coord quality.
  7. I heard you like F-Teens? So i put a F-18 in your F-15!
  8. Thats a weird F-15E youre flying there Maybe rather check in there: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/320-bugs-and-problems/
  9. You can change it apparently by doing it station per station and not all at once.
  10. I didn’t blame anyone
  11. As per License Agreement its pretty clear a few unstructured thoughts; Its as wise - or not wise - as it ever was and ever will be to buy early access. I dont think it makes any sense to stop buying 3rd Partys "just" because of that drama now. Even if you just buy 3rd Party stuff out of early access - if they stop maintaining it, it will stop working at some point. Thing is; either you accept that this is the way it is - or you dont. Which means dont buy anything DCS anymore. Sure, if you buy 3rd Party Modules you have an additional layer of risk. They might get bancrupt or just say "screw it". Completely independent on why that happens. If the contract that has been published is real, ED should have the Option to take over the source codes under defined circumstances - so its maybe not twice the risk as buying only from ED. At the end of the day: ED is a for profit company. They need money to keep working(yeah, yeah, Razbam, too.). Just assume everybody gangs up to "teach ED a lesson" and income flow stops / drops to a non sustainable point. Well, happy birthday. You just tought yourself a lesson what it means to bankcrupt a monopolist. It means: No DCS anymore. And there is no alternative (at least not for me).
  12. No way of knowing that. A certain risks is always involved. Its even possible ED goes down the Drain at some point. Thats just how the world works, especially in terms of digital goods that you do not own, but are allowed to use as long as the people you bought the license from deem it appropriate.
  13. Yes that’s how you do a proper designation turn The Rockets do have a longer range then the Jeff LAR wants you to believe, though.
  14. No? You can even see the Sensor in the nose. No but do Designation Turn after firing them to not overfly the target, which means putting it on the 3-9 Line or even a bit above that.
  15. Is (should) this also the case when you are within Range for Laser Ranging?
  16. Only thing i can think of in addition to that; You have a Weapons Program set with those JDAMs in it?
  17. No, i wanted to say that although the pilot might have told the truth, that does not necessarily mean that taking away that capability from the WMD7 might have been an error. I dont know what the Aselpod is capable to do, but considering Pakistan and, i think, nigeria switching to them, there might be a reason.
  18. afaik not every country uses the pod we have in dcs, pakistan for example replaced them with a turkish aselpod
  19. Are we talking about rocket (-pods) or missiles now?
  20. How should that work? Rockets are fired from a Pod using their own Engine power.
  21. We dont have the Block 3 in DCS. We have Pakistani Block 1. I was just mentioning things that were, at some point, slated to be added or said to be added but conditions apply, like the HMD.
  22. And i wouldnt want to miss the dual LD-10 Pylons either.
  23. I have checked you track, for me the LD-10 did not self destruct. First one lofted and almost got to the target before the track ended, other ones ran out of energy and were about to do a belly landing when the track ends.
  24. I’ve used the LD-10 successfully several times since the last patch. This sounds really weird. You got a track of it happening?
  25. Focus on the Radar + TEWS. Put it on 80 Miles display, put the TDC on 40nm, Scan alternating from 0-20k feet and 18-whatever it was feet. Hope that this giant dish does something for you.
