The F-15EX is an advanced variant of the F-15 fighter jet developed by Boeing for the U.S. Air Force. Here are some of the capabilities and features associated with the F-15EX: Advanced Avionics: The F-15EX is equipped with state-of-the-art avionics, including advanced radar systems, electronic warfare systems, and mission computing systems. It is designed to provide superior situational awareness and targeting capabilities. Radar Systems: It features a powerful radar system, which in the case of the F-15EX is the APG-82 AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) radar. AESA radars offer enhanced target detection, tracking, and jamming capabilities compared to older radar technologies. Payload and Weapons: The F-15EX has a significant payload capacity, allowing it to carry a wide range of air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons. This includes missiles, bombs, and other munitions for various mission profiles. Multirole Capabilities: The F-15EX is designed to excel in both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions, making it a versatile multirole fighter. It can engage enemy aircraft, as well as conduct precision strikes against ground targets. Improved Range and Endurance: The F-15EX benefits from updated fuel capacity and efficiency, which provides extended range and endurance compared to older F-15 variants. This allows for longer missions and increased operational flexibility. Electronic Warfare (EW) and Countermeasures: The F-15EX is equipped with advanced electronic warfare systems to detect, identify, and counter enemy radar and electronic threats. It also has defensive countermeasures to protect against incoming missiles. Advanced Cockpit and Displays: The cockpit of the F-15EX features modern displays and user interfaces, providing pilots with comprehensive information and enhanced situational awareness. Upgraded Flight Control Systems: The F-15EX incorporates advanced flight control systems for improved agility, maneuverability, and control in combat situations. Compatibility with Modern Systems: The F-15EX is designed to operate alongside other modern aircraft and be compatible with the latest command, control, and communication systems. Open Mission Systems (OMS): The F-15EX employs an OMS architecture, allowing for easier integration of new software and hardware updates, enhancing adaptability and future-proofing the aircraft. Interoperability: It is designed to operate in a joint and coalition environment, working seamlessly with other aircraft, ground forces, and naval assets.

From one of my other posts: So this is what I do every time I start a (usually like 3 hour ) VR session: Reboot PC Launch WMR by plugging in Reverb Set the center using WMR Optional - Ensure OpenXR toolkit is up Launch VoiceAttack (I cannot use VR without it!) Launch Focus Guard (https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3330231/) Launch DCS I hardly ever have a centering issue inside DCS after all that. Now, if it crashes I could just launch DCS again, and it is usually centered correctly 9 times out of 10. But, because it crashed, you may want to clear the buffers, and the fxo/metashaders folders and start over. Also, concur with firefox121 regarding lighting. The Reverb (and a lot of other HMDs) rely on external lighting to function correctly.

I have seen this occur randomly with the previous versions and had to restart everything to get it to work. I haven't updated to 2.9 yet.

DCS shows the relevant key as "SysReq", which is a key that doesn't exist as a virtual key in Windows. Sending a Print Screen keypress using the standard Windows API methods doesn't trigger the ingame function. That's about all. DCS has used an input system that behaves in non-standard ways for years, E.G. when using a non-QWERTY keyboard layout it'd still show key labels as if you were. The only workaround "solution" is to change the combo on the UI Layer. I used LALT+LCTRL+Home as that combo is not used by any other mod.

nullSee screen grab. Note: I did not have issues until the last DCS update.

NOT SOLVED! Can't get it to work with voice attack for some reason.

Great input from all here. So, the question is... Does ED care enough about the effort put into this thread to update this beloved ($50) aircraft. -
can't see it.

The G2 comes with a plastic spacer with magnets. Are you using that?

How do I center the view on a HP Reverb G2 in-game?

Does anyone know how to get into and use PLM mode like I see is used in Growling Sidewinder videos? Example:
-
I have not seen this issue with this mod.

Thanks for the help guys.... Better explained (I hope)... Replay of a VR mission in "pancake" mode is most definitely possible. However as soon as you hit an F-key or try to adjust anything but playback speed, you loose the head movements (and some other key presses) saved in the original track. I had originally thought it had something to do with FOV - obviously not. I will attempt to see if the Force IPD Distance feature actually effects the playback in pancake mode. But I would assume that is related to the VR experience as opposed to the playback of a VR experience. ...more unsolicited explanation: Why do I do this? Because I have to downgrade the graphics to run smoothly in VR, and in pancake mode I can crank everything all the way up and it looks awesome, just way too zoomed in because of this issue. Another option I have tried was to capture a video using Nvidia Geforce video capture, which works, but @ 1280x1280 res and the lower VR graphics settings. I just thought there had to be a better way.

confused... Currently, I have Force IPD off. Technically, that should be a setting for interpupillary distance. This makes sense for VR. Where can I find more info regarding that it is a FOV tool? Here's the situation. I fly a mission in VR and save the track. Then I play (track) in the mission back in regular (non-VR) mode. The FOV of the replay track displays the view as closer to everything and I feel it should be set further back. I have missed with several sections with the Options.lua, SnapViews.lua, and a couple other files. ...but to no avail.

Does anyone know how to change the VR FOV settings for replaying tracks? Every time I replay a VR mission the FOV seems to be up too close.
