I had this too, it was and issue with the A4 Skyhawk mod. If you use this mod you need to rename some files within the mod, I can't remember exactly but if you search the forum you should find the answer.

Just noticed that, the price reduction in DCS store seems to be for 'early access'.

Does anyone know why the South Atlantic map is on sale in the DCS store but doesn't seem to be included in the Steam sale?

Can anyone confirm if there is still a compatibility issue between Pimax crystal and RTX 3090ti GPUs, I have read about this online but can't find out if it's been resolved, I'm considering moving to Pimax from a G2 and just came across this issue by chance, Thanks.

Regular view, but only in cockpit. With the toolkit shake reduction cranked up it's fine.

Does any know how to get rid of the cockpit shake without using the OXRTK? In VR the 'shake' is really off-putting for me, but toolkit anti-shake fixes that but that's the only thing I use it for.

Hi, I bought a new PC last year and had exactly the same issue, after trying everything mentioned above I returned it (twice) they conceded that it was a CPU cooling issue, faulty fan and MOBO and not enough or incorrectly applied thermal paste on the CPU.

Number pad key 5, if using voice attack you can set it up to centre your view with a voice command, I've set up so that I simply say 'centre view' in VR and it centres right away.

Yes, in VR MT, labels have more 3D look, its a bit nauseating.

I have maybe gained 5 max FPS but with stutters, the Image quality is slightly worse and I'm getting the red CPU bound message. The only advantage for me is the quicker load times. Steam version, open XR, reverb g2 with exactly the same settings in game and open XR in both ST and MT versions. i 12900k, 3090ti, 64gb RAM, Windows 11. This is not a complaint, I just hope that ED can use information like this to improve MT. Update, by reducing the resolution to 100% in OpenXR tools for WMR and also in OpenXR toolkit I can now achieve 20+ more FPS whilst keeping a decent image quality. I am now getting anywhere between 60-80 FPS (depending on view, cockpit/external/flyby) in a simple carrier launch mission in PG on Forrestal. Same here, 12900k, 3090ti, CPU bound main thread and rendering thread.

Mine does exactly this, sometimes get black screen as you described but I just restart the process and all is fine.

Dangerzone, I recently changed to V2 cable on my V1 headset after getting black screen and white lines, V2 cable is compatible and fixed my issue.

Thanks for the reply guys, I connected up a powered display port adapter I had and it's worked, don't know why it didn't work just connected straight to cards DP ports.

Hi guys, I've just replaced my faulty G2 cable with a new V2 cable, have any of you had any issues doing this, I've tried all ports etc uninstalling/reinstalling WMR etc but I keep getting the 1-4 error please check your cable, when I reconnect the old cable it's recognised no problem. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Hiob, thanks for your reply, the PSU seems to be connected to the GPU using 3 cables so I assume this is sufficient. GPU temp around 60 and utilisation anywhere between 40-100, does this sound normal? Also the fans seem to get very noisy just before the crashes.

Thanks for the reply silverdevil, I am currently running the latest nvidea driver, and even tried the previous driver but it didn't work. Someone suggested that it could be a PSU problem, that maybe 1000w isn't enough, does anyone have any experience of this?

Hi guys I need your help, I recently bought a new PC and I am having CTD every time I play, the CTD happens after 20-30 mins from cold and then every few minutes after I restart the game. I have tried all suggestions from these forums and others with no success so eventually by now thinking it was a hardware issue I sent the PC back to 'PC specialist (UK)' where I bought it from at the end of October. they ran various stress tests etc and said that the hardware was fine and that it was probably a software issue so formatted and reinstalled windows and sent it back. unfortunately after reinstalling DCS the problem is still there. I have also tried IL2 which crashed too so I'm not blaming DCS, although it does seem to be the flight sims that are causing this.
