  1. There is no specialized Key Card for 1.1 But you can use the keycommands.doc file to make your own key card(s). Edit and customize for your favorite aircraft, add joystick button assignments, etc. Especially handy if you fly several aircraft with different joystick profiles (such as Su-25T A2G and Su-27 A2A.
  2. The download link -with activation key - should look like this (my activation key blacked out) If you dont see a download link check the PAYMENTS option on the main menu. It should look similar to this and confirm your payment was recieved: If you don't see the payment shown you should probably check with PayPal.
  3. BIOLOG; Thanks for taking the time (and looks like trouble) to get us an update. Most of us do appreciate it. I wouldnt be surprised if some of the delay has to do with getting ready to accept credit card orders directly (Merchant Account) which is quite a bit harder than using just PayPal. Goes back to the thread where WAGS was asking people how they wanted to handle the transaction and about half wanted the option to order by credit card. http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=6372
  4. Ooppsie! Sorry BIOLOG.... Scratch BIOLOG from that list and add Han and Alex O'kean to CHIZH, Olgerd and Valery Blazhnov. Suspect they're all busy, what? Give us an update when you can. Thanks
  5. We know from reading the LockOn RU forums that the 2CD Russian version has been released. Some lucky individuals even found FC for sale over the weekend before its actual release date. So they did meet the 5 April general release date shown on the main page. What we dont know yet is when they'll start the online sale and delivery for ROW. Any hints from you ED guys? I've seen BIOLOG, CHIZH, Olgerd and Valery Blazhnov hanging around the forums today. Maybe they're afraid to start up the online delivery seeing all the people hovering around the forum and website? Or maybe they'll just start it up before they go home for the night? LOL
  6. It was not hi-jacked to a fake site. More details in this thread (which is missing a title) http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=7268 The SnakeOil certificate is supposed to be testing certificate for the Apache SSL Mod. What you're seeing - the warning - is because ED hasnt yet got a unique certificate from a real CA (certificate authority). Nothing sinister going on .....
  7. As Caretaker pointed out: The SnakeOil CA certificate is just the default certificate shipped with an Apache SSL mod for testing. Usually a web site will contract a REAL CA (Certificate Authority) and get a unique Certificate. Nothing sinister - just ED hasn't yet applied for a Certificate.
  8. I ran across a nice use of Export.lua to push Multiplayer server data to a web page. The web page will display: (1) Players in the game. (2) Map with aircraft icons that show Plane Type, Pilot Name, Course and Altitude. (3) Debrief type events log of mission activity. The page is located at: http://lockon.but.ru/ Found while browing the other forums: http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=7218 Posted by Chizh; web site designed and implemented by Dreyou with ver 1.1. (note; if you dont see a anyone in the server check the local time stamp on top of the main page)
  9. It looks like edward1976 and a few others in Moscow have got ver 1.1 already. Post us some screenshots Edward!
  10. Looks more like a pre-order to me. Has anyone managed to actually download FC yet?
  11. Or the gun! Nothing better than out dueling a Shilka in a gunfight.
  12. Not to quibble but it seems you should be able to run two sorties with a standard loadout and still hit as many targets as a heavily modded loadout could do on one sortie even if it takes you longer. It takes a higher skill level to survive a high threat environment without resorting to AGM 45/88 mods. Its more exciting to hit a Strela or KUB site with a good Rockeye attack that it is to hit one from standoff range with a Mav or HARM. Calling modded loadout cheating may be your your view on the practice. But then you did say you fly with CBU-97s (a LOPE mod) so you're only cheating a little bit? I'd say that cheating is deliberately violating the rules of a game to gain an unfair advantage over the other players. If the server host allows modded loadouts and anyone that wants to can use them it's probably not cheating. If only the host could use a certain loadout and it gave him an unfair advantage that would be cheating. If you're not playing on a server where you're having fun you should find people to fly with who feel the same way you do. Run your own server with your rules. Ver 1.1 will help since it will enforce loadouts based on the ability to push your MeInit.xml data to the clients.
  13. Why go through all that trouble? Just use the StarForce removal tool from the company website: sfdrvrem.exe http://www.star-force.com/index.phtml?category=200&type=5
