Hello Arndt; There is a good chance PayPal cancelled your payment. You can check in the MyAccounts section of the PayPal website. It will look something like this: (in the example above I had one copy by credit card completed, but my 2nd copy got cancelled) You may also have been sent an email by PayPal saying eCheck Payment Denied PayPal has blocked the Eagle Dynamics account and has canceled many purchase orders. Your money should still be with PayPal.

Besides your own pet geek can you find any other source that says 3.4 is vector for viruii and trojans? Ask your geek to get you the references.

Force_Feedback; Anyone that has the discipline to learn a complex sim like LockOn SHOULD have enough discipline to NOT abuse a credit card. Even if you feel a bit weak willed just go get a credit card - order Flaming Cliff - and then cut the card up.

ThirdELTPoznan; You didnt tell your geek WHICH version of StarForce you wanted to know about did you? Ver 3.4 does not have the problem an earlier version was reported to have had. StarForce drivers CAN be fully deleted.

In the Lock On/Config/ folder edit the graphics.cfg file with notepad. (you may have to use the File Properties right click option to make the file NOT Read Only) In the Display Mode section; Interface=800x600 is the menu sections Simulation=800x600 is the game itself You can run the game fullscreen = 1 ON or fullscreen = 0 OFF

You are getting screwed with. When PayPal cancelled my 2nd copy I just transferred the funds back to my account - for free. I'm glad I went ahead and ordered one copy by credit card.

I'd hold off the re-install of XP for a while. Probably not get a different result from the last clean install. I guess I was a bit shocked too -LOL- not your typical gaming environment. I think your guess that its hardware driver related is correct and because of that just disconnecting a piece of hardware wont automatically stop the driver from loading. Starforce isnt the only driver that hides itself from casual inspection. Will take a couple days to look up just the stuff you have listed there and its not a wholly complete list by any means. For a system configured like your I think you should take a hard look at FSAutoStart http://www.kensalter.com/fsautostart/ FSAutoStart gives the user the ability to automatically shutdown services and programs to provide as much resources to running today's most demanding games and applications. It also provides the ability to launch selected programs after the selected application is launched. Lastly, it can automatically restart those programs and services previously shutdown, thus bringing the computer back to its original state. It also adds performance enhancing options like Defragment Memory. FSAutoStart was originally written for users of Microsoft Flight Simulator, but is flexible enough to handle any game or other demanding application that needs as much computer power as possible. Highly Recommended! You can have multiple profiles (example 1 profile for offline play and 1 profile for multiplayer) even having it load up specific profiles for other programs (like Shoot or Joystick profiles). It can give you the lean mean gaming machine when you want it and still let you run your highly customized system setup other times. It's not likely to fix your problem all by itself. That will take ID'ing the culprit driver causing a starforce conflict. Hopefully there will be new software or driver to be found once the "bad actor" is located.

There is a major problem with authorizations and distribution rights because Ubisoft still controls the rights to LockOn outside the CIS. 1.1 is an "unofficial" add-on because of that and ED had limited options due to lack of Ubi official support.

Canopy reflections? Do you mean reflections on inside of cockpit or outside canopy relections on the Su-25T? The inside cockpit reflections are still there but maybe a bit tougher to see. Y The Su-25T will get new light reflection off the outside of the canopy now. Really nice effect!
